Nodocephalosaurus is an Ankylosaurine from the Kirtland Formation of New Mexico, living in the Campanian age of the Late Cretaceous, between 74.5 and 73 million years ago. It had distinct osteoderms on it’s kull - some bulbous, polygonal ‘derms symmetrically arranged around the nose of the skull. This is very similar to the ankylosaurids Saichania and Tarchia from Mongolia, indicating that this is a clade of Ankylosaurins spread out on multiple continents, and possibly indicates migration of Asian dinosaurs to North America in the Later portions of the Cretaceous.
