Exploring our Shadows:

The hidden, supressed, ignored parts of ourself.

Your triggers often show up as people and situations in your life that you are most trying to avoid.

Sometimes your lesson is about standing up for yourself and saying No, sometimes your lesson is about letting go of control over others and looking within.

It was never about the others or what happened to you, it was about who you had to become.

You either become bitter or better. If you are bitter, it's time to wake up and be better.

We take responsibility for our own shadows so that

We can create a better world.

When we throw light (our attention) on the shadows, we transform it to light itself and it ceases to be a shadow.

This is the essence of shadow work.
