Enjoy the Pretty Pink Beet, Blackberry, and Oat Smoothie, which is bright and healthy. This pretty pink smoothie is full of protein, fiber, and antioxidants, so it's a great choice for a healthy breakfast or snack.
Ingredients: 1 small beet, peeled and chopped. 1/2 cup blackberries. 1/4 cup rolled oats. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 1/2 cup almond milk. 1 tablespoon honey optional. Ice cubes optional. Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Add the chopped beet, blackberries, rolled oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey if using to a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, adding ice cubes if you prefer a colder smoothie. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired. Pour the smoothie into a glass, garnish with fresh mint leaves if you like, and serve immediately.

Power Smoothie to Start the Day
One of the most important matters for Gallstones Diet is reducing the daily fat consumption. How is that even possible for me, born, raised, and currently still in Indonesia, be expected to reduce the fat consumption when our favorite cooking process throughout the nation is by deep-frying all the things?
And, how can it be done when almost every signature dish in every city, not to mention almost half of my favorite food, has coconut milk on it. Not the fresh one, but several-hours-cooked one.
Well, I’ll go with another ancient proverb that says “It always seems impossible until it’s done”
Pinterest is my first touchpoint when I look for a proper Gallstones Diet for myself. I figured that if I really want to do it right, I had to start being resourceful. The first topic that popped up is healthy smoothies, with a lot of recipes and tips, and I love it.
Combined with intermittent fasting, have a power smoothie as the first meal is actually a very strong way to start a day. My working hours is from 10 a.m. and I used to fast until 9 a.m. With all the busy things I have for my son in the morning, smoothie is like the answer I’ve been looking for even since life before Gallstones.
Basically, just mix everything you have in the fridge. I rarely do the veggie ones because I rarely have the fresh greens. My mixture usually consists of the combination of such fruits:
· Banana
· Strawberry
· Kiwi
· Dragon Fruit (the purple one)
· Pear
· Apple
· Grape
One of the most important ingredients that must be there is Oatmeal. It’s just going to stuff your smoothie so you can have it heavy but definitely low on calories and fat.
Another element that you can put there is liquid, and you can choose any of your favorites. Most of the time, I go with water, but sometimes I’ll also have fresh milk (full-cream) or yoghurt. There are lots of alternatives you can use for it, such as coconut water, almond milk, oat milk, and so on.
Sometimes, I also add a non-dairy cream just to have more flavors in my smoothie.
