Absolutely hilarious to me that Transformers : Prime and IDW Transformers both had plots of humans kidnapping bots to use their bodies, and they both took them in different directions.

Like Prime has a military extremist with a god complex forming a terrorist group to perform chop shop surgeries to kill bots and upload their minds into their bodies.

And IDW also has an extremist with a god complex, but this time he’s a billionaire using his money and shell corporations to partner up with Scorponok forming the Machination to become a part of Scorponok’s head.

Breakdown gets murdered and has his body puppeted by Silas in Prime, Sunstreaker and Hunter get joined together at the mind and Sunstreaker’s disembodied head in life support is used to power a network of head-mastered fakes.

This is so interesting to compare and I haven’t seen this anywhere.

Transformers shipping confession

I can’t really get into shipping Knockout and Breakdown because one day Knockouts voice popped into my head saying “Word of advice, never date your masseuse”. When your thoughts wander it can lead to head canons. I still to this day do not know what possible noodle incident could be responsible for Knockout saying that, but it wedged itself into my interpretation of the character.
