Asha and the Wish float for Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.
I’ve hit a small setback on my project.
I’m working on making an Asha dress-up game via the Meiker.io website! It would be based on her concept arts as well as some original designs. But my initial pose for her - as shown above - is unworkable; I’m gonna try to work on a new pose for her, one that’s not traced.
But here’s three of the looks I did get finished before deciding to change my direction! Backgrounds came from the art book (top), animation screencaps (middle,) and Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay’s website (bottom.) Star designs are derived from Disneyclips clip art.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, feel free to send me an ask! Preferably on this account as it will be the account named with the finished game eventually.
So it seems the Wish coloring pages in the Happy Color app thus far (7/10/26) are all based off illustrations from the Little Golden Book Star Leads the Way!
Taking place as Asha, Star, and Valentino head into Rosas for the first time together (the first few pages are mostly skimming over "I'm a Star!" so this is the new stuff I'm posting here.)
Aw, Star thinks they can free the wishes by taking coins out of the well!
It was previously established that Valentino is hungry, so this ensues:
So that explains how Asha got the sack to hide Star in (if we consider this canon.)
Kind of funny how the latest HC page is cropped so that the guards on the ground are just out of frame lol

Sergi Caballer, a Character Modeling Supervisor on Wish, posted a couple of character turnarounds for earlier versions of Asha and Sabino on Instagram!
Asha still has decorated hair, longer arm slots in her surcoat, the looser belt and bare feet. Close up:
For Sabino, Sergi's caption reads "An early 3D visual development of Sabino in his original younger version, before the character pivoted toward the older grandfather figure brought to the screen by [SuZan Kim]."
The warm colors and spikier hair make me think maybe this was during the time that Sabino and Star were linked/the same character.
