Don’t usually draw or show my cosplays on here but my princess Loki cosplay has me eheheheing so I traced her out.

Princess Loki???

I feel like the princess loki agenda is not talked about enough. What about those days when they felt more like a princess and wanted to present as more feminine.

A cunning and dangerous princess whose beauty was striking? You just know they'd have the most refined taste and only wear the finest silk made gowns and throw the most pretentious balls.

She would be incredibly flirty and dance around all night. Playful and knowing how to turn every fibre of a person on, only to pull away at the last second, because as a princess she would hold herself in high regard and see herself above the unworthy men. (As she should! Princess Loki is a gift from the gods and no one is worthy of her)

She would carry her daggers in her thigh holster. She might be a princess but she's still dangerous and you wouldn't want to cross her.

She would flirt with all of Thor's friends and watch him turn red with anger all night. However, she would purposefully ignore Fandral and become amused by watching him trip all over himself trying to get the attention of the only woman not falling at his feet in awe.

I cant get princess Loki out of my head and i never see enough content on her so we need to fix that!

I rarely post cosplay photos but @bestnoncannonship apparently took this and never told me. I think this was the day of Big Apple Con where we premiered Flapper!Loki and Thor. And I had the most Loki moment ever.

So during the con we go to the Marvel meetup/photo shoot that takes place in front of Madison Square Garden, so there's lots of normies and tourists hanging out anyway, and they're just WIIIIILD about all the superheros.

So I was hanging back, taking a break, when some finance bro types meander up to me, staring. So Loki-me stares right back (My Loki is a bit surly and doesn't appreciate being stared at) . So one of the Bros asks me:

"So what are you supposed to be?"

Phrasing is a touch condescending, but as everyone else is mostly in canon costumes and I am in a fem! flapper! Getup, I do not really expect to be recognized off the bat by anyone who hasn't, you know, memorized every Marvel movie. So I draw myself up to my full height and do my best Tom Hiddleston face and say

"I'm Loki."

The bros murmer in confusion. They have no idea what this means. I suppose Loki is not nearly as famous as Spider-man or Superman or anything so I continue.

"Of Asgard?" I supply helpfully. The bros continue to mutter amongst themselves. One mumbles something about Star Trek? I take a deep breath and say the two most hated words of any Loki cosplayer.

"Thor's brother?"

An explosion of recognition! Oh yes thor's brother! They remember that! They love Thor! Thor's the best!

And I clench my jaw and Loki-me gives them the most shit eating Loki smile possible, when who should storm (pun not intended. Though it was more of a typhoon, really) over, but the brother in question herself, @bestnoncannonship , who had heard this exchange and was EXTREMELY AMUSED.

So afterwards we got drinks. Loki needed one

....well, I enjoy calling my visitor "Princess." And, I, ah....

Since I haven’t had a chance to work on my other project and have an overabundance of Loki paintings from my time away. There will be more as time progresses. :)
