Been a while since posting anything Ghost here, but I got an iPad last year and I’ve been practicing, I’m quite happy with my progress so far.

Actually, the picture came together pretty quickly. This was my first attempt at drawing this character. At first, I wanted to portray him as older, a senior student, but my sketch turned out to be a very young Slytherin.
This time, I decided to go with the flow and continued working. I initially thought about doing a minimalist portrait with a plain background, but then I decided to add a bit of context after all. And so, the Slytherin common room appeared in the background! Snakes, green light, the whole deal…
I really like how the background improved the piece. It made it feel more complete. So, that's how it went. I really hope I managed to capture and convey the character's mood.
