Managed to get some lore out in the open, including roo's "origin" story. Use #imi200 to see it

Backstory & list of characters finalised. Next step is finishing designs, then drawing ref sheets (I need to draw like 10 ref sheets... Eek)

Been thinking of another concept to explore alongside UE. The two are kind-of connected but this one's a bit more 'serious'. Also only 2 new characters involved. More info later

Hey remember when I used to post jewellery? 😬 Lately it seems that I’m more about monsters than making, but such is the reality of this November. I’ve been taking on a lot of freelance design work in addition to my huge #stupidanimalhybrids project because with the almost-certain next round of lockdowns hovering, I am concerned that my p/t (aka bill-paying) job may get frozen again, so I’m making hay while the sun shines, so to speak. I am very, very tired. Like, in my soul/bone marrow. Retail at Christmas is a special kind of hell on a good year, but this year... *trails off*. Respect and hope to my fellow retail/service workers out there who are staring down the same possibility. Anyhow, it occurred to me today that I never posted this little aquamarine pendant that I finished last month. It sold so quickly I never had a chance to post about it, but I wanted to show it off; I mean, look at that glow! Aquamarines are most often some degree of tropical blue that bares the same name, but I was lucky to get my hands on 2 uniquely cut soft minty green stones at a gem show last year. This one has gone away to its forever home on the west coast, the other is on my bench where it will likely stay - I’m so in love with it I might just keep it. March Progress Report

Hello, Lovelies!

 We are here with some news from the last month. First of all: we have two new members on our team!

Mitchellk96 - Composer

Dama - Environmental Pixel Artist

Both are already working and done amazing things that we hope we can show you soon! Their inclusion means that Love Me will have, for the most part, original music and art, which is amazing.

That said, march have been a month of organizing and redesigning. A lot of work has been put on making sure we have a clear vision of the game, and we are working hard on all the features and concept for them to work properly together in the new format. It’s mostly work that we can’t show (sorry!), but it was completely necessary to making sure future progress is fast and concise. Some things that we have achieved this month include:

A proper walking animation for Miki.

New tiles.

A new layout for the school.

Two music demo tracks.

New characters and new traits for existing characters.

We found a program that allows us to directly import layouts to Unity.

A lot of features are already working on its basic stage: interactions, inventory, items, rain, day/night cycles and shops, among others.

We are putting all together for the first build, that should be ready in a month or two with the basics already working. Isn’t it exciting? We may also upload some music or video footage on the YouTube channel, as soon as it’s an option. Right now, we are too early on development.

Still, we can show you a few sneak peaks!

Venture Progress Report - Week 13

I haven’t been able to post as consistently as I would have liked to this past week. With final projects/exams, and the culmination of my COOP happening right now I just haven’t had the time. I am hoping to get back on track with my scheduled posts for next week. 

That being said, I am ahead of my projected sales by quite a bit. I have also seen a steady increase in followers across social media accounts. For the budgeting assignment, I projected my annual sales to be $9000, which is $750 of services sold per month. Now that I am operating the business, I see that $750 was a low-ball projection. I believe that I will be able to clear far more than that with the release of my website in the coming weeks. 

Also, having sponsored content across social media, and the marketing campaign from media force has really helped get my content out to new demographics. 

After 13 weeks of operating this business I am pleased with my current position and wish that I had started this venture earlier!

Progress Report 11/25/18

Household Inventory:  No new items.  Threw out rusty bobbins.

Reuse/Reduce/Recycle: Paper/plastic.

Emergency Fund:  Fuck my entire miserable useless life.

Breakfast: Bagels with cream cheese and pumpkin butter

Lunch: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and corn, all from home

Dinner: Same as lunch, nom

Home Improvements:  None

Fast Food Incidents:  None

Catastrophes:  Car still leaking oil.  Property taxes are due.  Still owe boss money.  It’s fucking cold and the furnace still does not work.

Sleep Quality: Crappy.

Water Only Deviations:  Small coffee each morning. 

Work:  40 hours.

Relaxation:  Naps, snuggling foster kitten, watching Charmed and Outlander

Outings: None

Walking:  None, it’s cold and I’m an awful human being

Thermostat setting: Thermostat is off since the furnace does not work.  Indoor temps are hovering around 50.  Outdoor temps this week have been between 45 overnight and around 65 during the day.  Am staying bundled up with electric blankets and using a space heater at night.  Pets have plenty of bedding and each other to pile up with.  Verdict: not miserable yet.

#progressreport So since starting to get better last November I have dropped 20lbs. I know it could be more because I suck at staying consistent but at the same time, I have listened to my body every step of the way and I’ve been steadily dropping and maintaining what I’ve lost. Energy levels are still weird, haven’t quite figured that one out yet. Circuit weight-training, occasional HIIT workouts, cardio, and a mostly clean diet have transformed me into a person I can finally stand to look at again. I feel more confident, I feel more accomplished on the days I stay consistent and I’m able to forgive myself fully when I fail. I am #grateful for those in my life that have encouraged me to keep going in my goals of not only physical health but mental health as well. I mean, I’m working again and I didn’t think that would happen even 3 months ago.
