Change doesn't mean harrassment...

How long did we fight for gay marriage? How many of you stood up when bullied because you loved the same sex or because you didn't feel like you belonged in the body you were born with? We did it.

Just a year ago, I came to the realization that I am asexual. The moment I met the man I'm with today, I could feel it; I am demi-romantic. As for gender identification, I don't really have one. I'm me, Stephanie West. In the witch community, I am known as Alena Towk and I don't need an identification to be myself.

Just because I'm different, doesn't mean I should lash out at those that don't understand me. Just because there are some straight people that tell me I'm looking for attention or I'm delusional, doesn't give me a right to push them around and bully them and harrass them the same way they did to us years ago and how some still do today.

That's called hypocrisy.

We aren't hypocrites. We are beautiful and amazing and we are all one of a kind; so are they, so is everyone.

Let them tell us we're wrong. Let them tell us we are delusional and seeking attention because we know that isn't true. Instead of taking bisexual out of LGBTQ or telling straights they can't be an ally, think about the things you've done to benefit the community. Don't ruin it now by being exactly what they say we are.

We are not aggressive. We fight for equal rights and that means straights are our equals because

everyone deserves love.

Show them that we are more mature and more intelligent than their ideas of a straight world and welcome the straights that support us into the community.

What harm is it to add an S or keep the B if they are supportive?

Why not create a term for straights that support the community or a letter for a straight ally?

Equal rights doesn't mean we're better than them. It means we are equals. When did we become a movement against equality?
