DMD The Reality: The Third Chapter ep. 6 Review/ Commentary

OUR SECOND HONORARY FRIDAY (I watched it when it came out but didn't get to write this until today) SO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.... Last episode, and last review!!-- I'm going to miss watching this every week :(

Warning: overuse of the word "cute" because I find them all adorable, I'm sorry if that gets annoying....

First of all, Poppy is the perfect person to host, I hope he gets more opportunities to MC, I love him!!

The group song for gen 5 -- My Number One Duo -- is so catchy!! I like it, and everyone was so cute.

The judges all amazing, as usual! ALL THE FAVES COMING BACK TO WATCH, THAT IS WHAT WE WANT TO SEE, YESSS!!

Gen 1: Park

Gen 2: Yim & Tutor

Gen 3: TeeTee (he's so funny LMAOO, the way he tumbled and then instantly served face while tucking his hair)

Gen 4: Ohm, JJ, Kim (the diva trio), Por, Ryujin, and Patji.

TeeTee is not sly, the way he immediately turned to Por and repeated the song name (Narak chip pung) which translates to "incredibly cute" my adorable dorks <3

Wave is first!! You can tell that he doesn't have a lot of experience, but he is so cute, so he fits the song and concept soooo well. The way that everyone adores him, they're so real for that. Also, I was cracking up when he tried to act cool at the end, Wave you're such a cutie pie, just embrace it. "I feel like I'm attending my kid's school event" HAHAHA FR.

P: "Did you take anything away from Yim?" W: "Yes, yes I did, I need more experience" with pure confidence. LMAOOO HE'S TOO CUTE. I can't handle it. THEN HIM RUNNING OFF STAGE, TOOK ME OUT.

North was next, his song was Magic. I'm kind of sad that we didn't get to see him sing during the singing challenge due to scheduling conflicts, he has a pretty nice voice. His voice was softer than I imagined. Everyone's reaction in the crowd was so real, especially TeeTee and Kim.

Not about the performance, but why are TeeTee and Por locking eyes randomly, like hello???? No respect to the single community.

The judges are always so spot on what can be improved, and they give clear steps for them to take, I really want to highlight and show my admiration for the judges.

JJ is so funny LMAOOO, he's such a cutie. He has such a way with words, our eloquent king.

Copper sang Silent Mode. I thought his voice was nice, and his dancing was pretty stable! He just looked a little awkward, like he's trying to remember his steps (which is so understandable), I think once he gets more comfortable on stage, he has so much potential! I agree Kla, He is charming!!

Tutor side-eyeing Yim when he said Copper kept catching his eye during the performance LMAOOO, he was not a fan of that comment.

Pung sang Yang Kong Koi, he is such a cutie, let me just say that first and foremost. I really like his voice, he has such a soothing voice, feels like it's dripping with honey.

I agree that the emotion and connection with the audience wasn't fully there, but that's okay, that comes with more experience! A: "All of us adore you" YES. PUNG IS SO LOVED BY EVERYONE!!!

Not them asking Pung to do the "mommy" pose once again, if you don't leave him alone with that LMAOOOO

Pete sang brother zone (I freaking love this song, top tier choice by him) He fits the concept for this song so well, being the youngest of the generation. His voice is so pretty, I don't know how else to describe it. Dare I say, his voice was my personal favorite of the night. His dance moves were pretty solid too

Okay ngl, I think he might've actually been my favorite of the night. I loved his voice since the singing round, and I still love it so much. And he's the youngest, I can only imagine how much he will improve with time and experience.

Aww Tutor and Yim had to leave :( I wish they could've stayed to see the entire thing.

Porsche sang Prot Song Krai Mah Ruk Chun Tee -- Yes, I was curious so I searched the meaning of the title, and it means, "please send someone to love me" that's so fitting for him :( -- I like his voice, but also his smile is so cute!!! I think he has a lot of potential, and will grow.

I love how much they're all rooting for Porsche, I mean how could you not? He's such a sweetheart, I love him.

Fifa sang I Need a Girl-- okay ex SM trainee, I see you -- HE DID SO GOOD. His dance was pretty smooth, the dance break with his flip?? Incredible. His voice was light and pretty, soothing to listen to. Also, the fact he was singing in Korean (I'm not sure if he's fluent), but that in itself is impressive. OHM IS SO REAL FOR HIS REACTION TO DOING THE FLIP.

Totally agree, he could debut... Is this a sign of a new tpop group under Domundi?

TeeTee and Por are so cute (I say for the millionth time, idc I will probably say this again) P'POR STRIKES AGAINNNN

Otto singing Horogals, I didn't know I needed this!! I was excited to hear him, especially knowing he can SING. I liked how he kept a magical theme, knowing this song is being used for Magic Lovers (I can't wait for that to be released). Overall, I feel like his stage was the most stable. He did amazinggggg.

KIM PASSING IT TO OHM SINCE HE PERFORMED THIS BEFORE (I love their friendship, cuties.)

"You're aren't just a pretty boy, you're a pretty boy with a great stage performance" YESSIR OHM.

Phupha sang TEEDEE TADA-- several things: 1. I absolutely LOVE this song, 2. It makes so much sense that Phupha would pick this song LMAO, I mean have you seen the gym videos or the thirst traps?? If you haven't you should. You're welcome in advance. 3. He was lowkey giving me AuAu's performance of Bad Girls Like You-- UGH HE'S ATTRACTIVE AND HE KNOWS IT. Sir, where are the buttons to your shirt?? No one can handle all that, let me have himmmmm. (Let me rein myself in, I apologize... that was an alter ego or whatever). His voice is nice, his dance is a little awkward (but will improve with time), but he has amazing stage presence.

KIM AND OHM LOCKING IN AND LOOKING AT EACH OTHER WHEN PHUPHA HIT THIS MOVE (picture below... for science...) WAS SO REAL. They knew that was so hot. Latte and Jimmy better come get their men.

Still giggling at their reactions (AND JJ'S... I SAW THAT TOO). O: "Why is it hot in here" HE IS TOO REAL. I AM ACTUALLY CACKLINGGG.

That was the end of the individual performances, and honestly they all did amazing!! All of them have a lot of potential to do even greater.

Now onto the partner performances:

North and Otto -- I liked the concept of their performance, two actors who unexpectedly fell for each other. Their voices went well together, and their chemistry shined.

"North, once you let your guard down and expressed your feelings, you seemed to forget everything else." WHY DID THEY CALL HIM OUT LIKE THAT HAHAHA. He looks so shy, awww.

Why did TeeTee catch strays, "If you want advice on how to control it, you can ask TeeTee. He also struggled with it at first."

Copper and Fifa -- They are both such talented singer and dancer, so it makes sense that their performance included more choreo. They did not disappoint there of course!! But the time that I felt it was the most natural was when they were smiling at each other, I felt their natural chemistry.

THEM KISSING THEIR HANDS WITH THEIR HANDS TOUCHING??? DON'T THEY KNOW WE'RE INSANE? Ugh their chemistry is out of this world. Copper copying Fifa is so cute awwww.

Ryujin and Patji (prepare to be SICK of me) -- The acting intro?? I didn't expect it. The premise of the performance, is this a play about them... interesting choice. The amount of chemistry these two ooze is unreal. R: "So, you want me to change?" SHUT UP. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT PATJI, THE WAY PATJI GOT SHY???? JJ and Kim were so real for their reaction, because I was literally squealing and hiding my face at the same time.

P: "Last year, it was just the two of us performing solo" Ohm's reaction, exactly king!! They're not even trying to be subtle.

The whole scene at the desk: Patji poking Ryujin's cheek, Ryujin leaning on his shoulder, Patji getting shy and pushing him away??? Ryujin's smile. Ugh adorable.

Ryujin pretending to be asleep, the SONG MEANING (being more than friends) the hand on the chin (I immediately got butterflies), Ryujin chasing after him and responding with the next part of the song, GRABBING HIS ARM AND PULLING HIM CLOSER? Cinema.

New reaction pic unlocked (they were both SO INCREDIBLY REAL throughout the performance, I kept catching myself watching their reactions)

But literally I felt like I was interrupting them during this performance, I mean the way they kept doing the triangle method??? YEAH I NOTICED. I thought they were going to kiss at the end, I mean did you guys see the way they kept staring into each other eyes and lips and getting closer? Ryujin looked so shy, looking back at the audience like he was reminding them both where they were (this could be a bit delusional of me)

Let's list it all: The hand holding, the collar pulls (HELLO? THIS WAS INSANE), the glances at each other, the hand on the shoulder, the taps? Yeah, they make me delusional.

AND AS IF THAT WASN"T ENOUGH, THE LAST TWO LINES KILLED ME... P: "Do you still think we're just friends?" R: "Isn't it obvious by now?" WHILE BITING HIS LIP? Oh my gosh.

The other DMD members are so real for how they reacted throughout this performance, I mean the chemistry was unfathomable. Now for the performance (other than the stage presence and chemistry I mentioned over and over by now) their singing was incredible, I absolutely adored hearing Patji's falsetto. Like yes, show that off king!

I love how much they all adore Patji and Ryujin so much, I mean the way TeeTee started crying, I could tell he was reminiscing, he didn't see what we saw, he saw baby Patji and Ryujin growing and improving themselves. JJ, Ohm, Por, and Ohm all tearing up, they're all soo incredibly proud of them. I love them, and I love how everyone in DMD supports each other.

Aof's comments about their story was so beautifully said, all the viewers of season 2 really got to watch these two grow and blossom into the talented boys they are. I love them so much.

Kim mentioning Patji's shaking hands last year and how he's improved so much now (STOP I WILL START SOBBING), he sounded so mother-like.

K: "Last year I said, I'm so proud of you, as if you were my son. Today, I'm very proud of you, my boy." SHUT UP, THEY'RE SO CUTE. Especially, when you remember that Kim was the oldest last season, while Ryujin and Patji were the youngest. I love their dynamic. P: "Thank you, mommy" AND THE WAY KIM IMMEDIATELY CHOKED UP, PROTECT THEM AT ALL COSTS!! They mean so much to me.

K: You know why I don't want to cry? It'll ruin my look" HAHAHA A DIVA WILL ALWAYS BE A DIVA.

Okayyyy award timeeeeee!!

Best friendship award -- I honestly wanted it to go to Porsche or Wave. I'm so glad that Wave won!! He's so cute, the way he was so confused, and the way everyone adores him, he deserves the win. I'm so curious to find out who he's going to choose to go on the vacation with. W: "I never thought I'd get to be someone's best friend" HAHAHA no thoughts behind those eyes.

Best performance award -- Otto makes the most sense!! Like I said, I felt like his performance was the most stable and balanced. He deserves this win!!

Side note: Porsche is so cute, the way he loves the others so much. Him literally jumping in excitement for the others, ugh my heart.

Best Shining Star Award -- I was surprised by this because this wasn't a thing the past two seasons, but I totally agree with the winners! Like I said, I loved Fifa's, Phupha's, and Pete's performances. I think they all deserved to be recognized for these performances. I wonder what they will win, will it be a single? An OST? I also wonder when they'll let us know what it is.

Pete: "What is this award called again" LMAOOOO he was disassociating or what? Jk, but that was so funny.

BEST PARTNER AWARD -- I was surprised that they said all three of them have the opportunity, and I was thinking it was similar to season 1 when both ThomasKong and KengNamping won, but it wasn't. They still chose someone who gets to have their series first. As you guys can probably guess, I was rooting for Ryujin and Patji.

I'm really glad that we will get to see a series from all these pairing (and an excellent marketing choice on Aof's behalf).

I SCREAMED SO LOUD WHEN PATJI AND RYUJIN WON LIKE AHHHHHHHH THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR OVER A YEAR. THEY FINALLY GOT IT. Patji was so cute jumping up and down, and the way they hugged each other. Everyone else celebrating them (I love them all, I say for the nth time)

The way Patji was getting emotional and immediately leaned into Ryujin, and Ryujin ignored everything else to hug Patji and comfort him?? Excuse me while I go scream in my pillow.

I hope to see a school romance, something light and fluffy like Your Sky, Perfect 10 Liners, We Are, Fourever You, My School President, etc. OR OR OR enemies to lovers!!! They could pull both off.

It's such a bittersweet thing: I'm so happy that we got to see all this, but also, now there's no more episodes left.... Every week, no new episode to come and watch. I can't wait to see what all of them do, and what works they will be part of coming up!

Anyways, thank you to everyone who has been following along as I reacted/ commented on the episodes! Until my next post about my next fixation hahaha.

To get to this picturesque waterfall and its aqua-blue pools you’ll need to journey to the east side of the park near St. Mary Lake. Glacier is home to 700 miles of hiking trails, including the short day hike that leads to St. Mary Falls, taking visitors through conifer forests. If you feel like chasing more waterfalls, you can extend the hike and journey to nearby Virginia Falls. Don’t forget your camera and be on the lookout for woodpeckers, moose, and wildflowers.

Pung - State of the Youth 6″

Pung were a 3 piece punk band from Gainesville in the 90s, featuring Jim and Jon Marburger (of I Hate Myself) and Var (from No Idea Records). Think the aggressive parts of I Hate Myself but twice (or triple) the speed, way more punk way less emo. They released this 6″, a 7″, and a split with Less Than Jake.

I finally (after 10+ years) figured out how to rip records, so I started a youtube channel to share less accessible stuff I have. Probably gonna be mostly punk stuff, but who knows. Please subscribe :)

DMD FRIENDSHIP, THE REALITY S3 EP 5 (the dreaded partner choosing episode) THIS ONE IS EXTRA LONG SO GRAB SNACKS.

IT'S OUR FIRST HONORARY SUNDAY, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS... ANOTHER DMD FRIENDSHIP REACTION/COMMENTARY POST!!

Aww everyone sleeping in the same room (other than the two pairs who won friendship time) they're all such cuties. They're so wrong for giving them only 5 minutes to get outside HAHAHA

Patji dragging Ryujin out of bed (cuties), of course I noticed that.

YESSS A TELEPATHY GAME TO TEST EVERYONE'S FRIENDSHIP. Copper immediately being out is taking me out. North's look at Phupha when he pointed to Otto's cheek, man didn't even try to hide it.

THE LAST FIVE: PUNG, PETE, WAVE, PATJI, AND FIFA ARE SUCH CUTIES. I was literally getting cute aggression from them.

PETE MAKING THAT SOUND WITH THE CAT PUNCH, NORTH AND OTTO IS SO ME. I REACTED THE SAME EXACT WAY!!!! PETE GET BACK IN MY POCKETTT 🥹

I'm glad Pung won and was able to have one final conversation with Copper. My heart hurt during their friendship date, the way that Copper apologized for being torn (there's nothing wrong with that, it's the whole point of the show), and Pung reassuring him, I love Pung, he's so mature with his feelings and expressing himself. I'm proud of him for saying how he wanted to pick Copper, but now he's choosing himself. (I saw people speculate that he did this because he didn't want Copper to feel bad for not choosing him, and if that is true, then he's so selfless. Protect him at all costs.) I'm glad that they both expressed themselves so vulnerably and left it all in the open.

P: "I still wish you well.", P: "I want as to be friends for as long as we can", C: "Even though we can't be partners, you don't have to worry. I'm not going anywhere.", P: "I'm not going anywhere", C: "Thank you for being a part of my life" I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP. Forget the show and partnerships, they're platonic soulmates.

NORTH IS SO FUNNY, WHEN OTTO SAID HE'S DRESSED UP NICE, HE HITS HIM WITH, "Just in case someone regrets not choosing me." PFFT. This one conversation cemented to me that they were going to choose each other. I was like 99.99% sure.

Phupha popping up out of nowhere and interrupting is giving me flashbacks to Tle popping in on Firstone and Latte's conversation in season 2.

North didn't even try to hide his displeasure HAHAHA, and him giving his sunglasses, he's so not slick.

I think Phupha knew Otto wasn't going to choose him, but he wanted to let him know he was going to pick him anyways. "Actually, ON THIS SHOW, I, like... I don't have my eyes on anyone else. I think, at this very moment IN THE SHOW, I choose you." OTTO CAUGHT IT. I CAUGHT IT. WE ALL CAUGHT THAT. NOTED.

NORTH WALKING BY WHILE WHISTLING, "I'm going to see Wave" THIS MAN IS NOT REAL. Wave walking up not knowing anything.

North and Wave's conversation was so comfortable, but you can tell that North just finds Wave a cute younger friend. I don't think he ever even considered choosing someone else other than Otto. Side note: North is actually such a weirdo (affectionally)-- But I love how he could tell that Wave was sad and trying to hide it. Just didn't realize it's about HIM. 💔

"No one wants to hug a teddy, if they said do, then they're lying" EXACTLY WAVE, everyone has nightmares about that bear, along with us, viewers.

W: "If you're the one for them, you don't have to try so hard." ANOTHER LINE TO GO IN THE HALL OF FAME!! That one hits hard.

We did get a glimpse of Pete and Fifa having a conversation, I was wondering about it. For them, it really comes down to Pete being so young, he feels like he needs more experience. I'm glad that they seem to a consensus, and closed that possible door.

AN UNO GAME BETWEEN PHUPHA, PORSCHE, AND PETE, that's exactly what the fans wanted to see, yes! I love that we got hear more about how Porsche was feeling, and how he joined to get closer to everyone. PHUPHA IS TAKING ME OUT, he's so serious about the uno game, and trying to look at Porsche's card. Pete trying to look, and Porsche just showing him, because "I have too many cards for you to remember" hahaha

I agree that Porsche is the sweetest, he just seems to be the one you can go to absolutely anything, and he would always know what to say or how to comfort you.

Fifa joining them, and them teasing him about joining the bear hugging gang. I love how they all comforted Pete, they're all so understanding about each other feelings.

Wave and Patji as a duo just makes so much sense. I feel so bad that Wave knew that North never strayed from Otto, when he was looking at North this whole time.

The way Patji was talking (about Ryujin, yes I will be delusional) was so adorable.

"Last time, only Ryujin and I hugged it [the teddy bear]. It felt lonely" IT'S OKAY, BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE EACH OTHER!!

W: "I want to know who you're comfortable with." P: "Who I'm comfortable with..." AND THEN IT CUTTING TO FIFA AND PATJI TALKING, I just know the editors were in that room giggling for putting that.

Fifa and Patji's talk, it was kind of awkward (affectionate).

F: "So, what's on your mind?" P: "On my mind... I do have someone." F: "How's Ryujin doing?" HAHHAHAHA FIFA THE DIVA.

These two seem like two shy besties who are lowkey spilling the tea.

P: "And you? Pete and Copper.. Between them" THEY'RE BOTH READING EACH OTHER TO FILTH. Love it. Give me 20+ hours of it.

They're both 100% sure about their partners, I know that's right!!!

Patji immediately smiling when Copper got back, knowing Fifa was going to go talk to Copper, he totally ships them. AND FIFA HURRIED OUT OF THERE HAHHAHA, HE WASTED NO TIME.

Porsche and Pung's conversation both broke and healed my heart. Pung is so sweet for bringing back a cake for Porsche. Porsche immediately knowing something was wrong when Pung said he didn't want to eat

Pung: "Yeah, I failed." But you didn't!! You got so much more, you grew your skills, and literally everyone would go to war for you. Your time will come and you will find the partner who is meant for you.

I love the way Porsche is reassuring him, literally the sweetest soul. Also, the way Ryujin coming in not knowing, and Porsche immediately telling him to stop. The way Ryujin locks in and comforts him, and reassures him that the show was to grow closer as a pair.

R: "I'm rooting for you" Porsche: "You'll find the right one" My sweet boys.

And Porsche bringing up the approval chat, and saying he has to approve Pung's partner, I love them.

BUCKLE UP, RYUJIN AND PATJI'S LAST TALK (By now, you already know I am very delusional about them)

R: “Where have you been” P: “I was talking to Fifa” AND THE LOOK RYUJIN GAVE.

The glances, the soft voices, the tension in the air... I love.

R: "How did it go talking to Fifa?" P:"It went well, it was completely clear." R: "It was clear?" I felt like they were talking in secret code LMAOOO, just talking and smiling at each other.

R: "Did I ever say I hesitated? Seriously, I don't know who else to choose. I'm comfortable working with you and being around you." DOWN BADDDDD. Thomas is holding a downbadism 101 class somewhere in Domundi, I just can't prove it yet.

I was so mad that they randomly cut off their conversation, but they saved it for later hehehe

My stomach was in knots the whole campfire scene, I was so freaking nervous on the outcome. Every time their phone went off, I was imagining the Love Island I GOT A TEXTTTTT hahaha.

I KID YOU NOT, I WAS LITERALLY GETTING HEART PALPITATIONS WHEN RYUJIN WAS WALKING UP THOSE STAIRS.

Ryujin picked Patji (surprise to absolutely no one) but the little drawing of the jellyfish was so freaking cute.

UMM ALSO THE PICTURES RYUJIN SHOWED WAS BOTH HIS AND PATJI'S FROM LAST SEASON????? SIR... HOW DID YOU GET PATJI'S PICS? WHY DO YOU HAVE THEM? Showing off... what about the single people.

MY ACTUAL REACTION TO REALIZING THAT PATJI PICKED RYUJIN AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY AN OFFICIAL PAIRING NOW:

R: "Got you" P: "Got you" THAT'S A CONFESSION IDC.

But on a real note, I find it really sincere how they had a conversation about how often they're going to see each other from now on with school and work, and how they're willing to work together.

Because this is going to be 1,000,000 pages unless I limit myself, the following are my favorite snippets of the rest of their conversation on the roof:

R: "I can see your face everyday" WE KNOW YOU CAN. I DON'T DOUBT IT.

P: "If we were partners, our college friends would make fun of us. What would you say to them?" R: "Let them. That's the truth" HE SAID FRICK THEM AND THEIR OPINIONS. Love that.

R: "I'll keep running and running after you until we're at the same pace. No one ahead, no one behind." POETS ARE SHAKING IN THEIR BOOTS. Authors are lucky Ryujin decided to be an actor.

The fake out handshakes, the banter, Ryujin moving closer, them quoting themselves from LAST SEASON (I need to be sedated, that almost took me out.)

P: "You really did stick around" HE SURE DID. Them telling each other they believe in each other, THE LOCKED PINKIES. Guys. Like can we be fr? That could be a scene in a drama.

P: "I just realized how the older gens feel now" oh so irrevocably in love? jokes... unless.... (I am actually joking.)

P: "I'm not alone anymore" NO YOU'RE NOT. YOU GUYS HAVE EACH OTHER. AHHHHH

The fake handshake, the giggles, the tickling, THE HUG???? Ugh their hug looked so comfy.

R: "I'm thankful for this reality show for letting me be 100% sure that he's the one I want by my side." Is actually such a romantic line.

P: "I want you guys to know that Ryujin and I are officially partners" Don't mind me while I scream (I'm so glad I didn't overreact) & them leaving with their arms around each other.

The editors are evil for putting Pung right after that, because my heart literally broke for him. THAT DARN TEDDY.

The way he was trying so hard to fight his emotions, but you could tell how upset he was walking up to that bear, ugh my heart.

Then, I realized he DID actually write "my friend Copper", I literally screamed.

"But after reading the letter, everything that happened came rushing back to me" Aww that's so relatable.

C: "Pung, you're my best friend." WRAP IT UP. THEY'RE PLATONIC SOULMATES IDC. I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH (AND FIFA).

P: "Before this, Copper didn't have many close friends in Thailand. I was one of his first." I'm so glad they found each other, even if it was not a partnership.

I love Pung, they way he reassured the audience to not worry about him, he's such a freaking sweetheart. He deserves all the beautiful things in the world.

THEY'RE SO WRONG FOR PUTTING 3 TEDDIES IN ONE ROOM. I would hate that.

Porsche picked himself, which I think he mentally prepared himself for since the beginning, he never felt that kind of connection with the others. I'm glad he felt relief. ALSO HE'S SUCH A CUTIE FOR USING A LINE FROM YOUR SKY!! Your star will come to you soon Porsche, I just know it,

I felt sad for Pete, he picked himself knowing that he couldn't be with Fifa. His conversation with Fifa cemented it for him. He will find his pair, he's so young, he has all the time in the world.

MY HEART ACTUALLY BROKE FOR WAVE, LIKE SO BADLY. He chose himself, but even to the end he didn't write North. I'm glad he found what he looks for in a partner, and I just know someone is out there for him, and he will find it sooner or later.

Copper picking Fifa (I can see the hate train already, but I thought this was really obvious. ALSO, respect their decisions since this is THEIR life.)

The way Copper was flirting and then getting shy at his own advances, they're so freaking cute.

C: "I'm just making sure in case you change your mind." F: "I don't have anyone in mind, because he's not just in mind, he's right next to me." SO SMOOTH. They're so cheesy and adorable.

F: "I'm so delighted to have you as my first partner, and I hope you're the only one who will ever get to be my partner." HE IS LOCKED INNNN.

C: "Don't look at me too much, I'm blushing." and instantly looking at each other, THEY ARE TOO CUTE.

"Have a best friend like Pung, and a partner like Fifa" AHHHHH. I LOVE THEM. NO ONE BETTER HATE ONE ANY OF THESE CUTIES.

MY MOUTH DROPPED WHEN IT PANNED FROM OTTO TO PHUPHA, I was so confused. But it was a fake out. (The production team was so mean for making Otto walk past him... like are we on an episode of Single's Inferno rn???)

Phupha: "Teddy bears give warm hugs. Don't worry about me" AWW.

Phupha: "After this, I might find someone else OUTSIDE of Gen 5" LMAOO MAN IS GOING AFTER JAMES (It's probably just a general comment)

North choosing Otto comes to absolutely no surprise, he was really like Thomas, he found who he liked and stuck with it until the very end. I'm so happy for them!

N: "I'm not solo anymore" O: "Well, you're part of a duo now." YESSS.

Side note: But why did Otto write Boreal? Is that a nickname for North, and if so, how did that come about?

O: "I feel so amazing and happy that I've found someone to walk this long path with me." You two will have each other to lean on from now on.

Also new this season, they made them come back to the firepit after choosing their partners, kind of sucks for the people who got teddy bears (I would cry if I was them)

THE WAY THE CAMERA PANNED TO WAVE LOOKING AT NORTH AND OTTO, CAMERA MAN COUNT YOUR DAYS (I say as the screen goes blurry from the tears) I love how Pete was checkin in on Wave.

And I love that Copper went to hug Pung, they're the cutest besties.

ALL RIGHT ONLY ONE EPISODE LEFT, THE PERFORMANCES NEXTTTTT. I'm so excited to see everyone else there to watch, but also, I'm scared because why was Kim and TeeTee crying????????

Last thing, the pairings are now official: Ryujin & Patji, North & Otto, and Copper & Fifa, so any ships you were respectfully shipping need to be let down now. (I say this to myself as well, as I had ghost ships), respect all the decisions made and don't send hate to anyone. I love all of gen 5, and their chaotic friendship.

DMD Friendship: The Third Chapter Predictions (with it being the halfway mark already)

I decided to make a separate post, I gave my thoughts on ships I'm lowkey rooting for, but it probably got lost in that long review of the episode. Therefore, I decided to make this post stating who I think would be nice together (No pressure, it's their choice. I respect anyone who has different opinions, plus the show is already over) and how likely they will realistically pick each other.

Who I'm rooting for:

Patji & Ryujin -- their story could be it's own personal drama I swear. From their origin story (reading the fortune, being friends of a friend) to DMD: It Takes Two (where they ultimately pick themselves), to now. I'm really rooting for them, and yes I am delusional they will pick each other. I give them a 9/10 of likely becoming a pair (I'm trying to be rational). This is due to the (now) deleted tweets at 2 am, the lives with older DMD members who are higkey teasing them, the duets, etc. Since, we know the show is over, and they seem that close, I feel like they chose each other OR will soon after the show. But, with Patji's confusion, I'm not sure if they will yet, I am hoping this next episode cements how much they mean to each other, and clears any miscommunications or confusion between them.

Copper & Pung -- They caught my attention after Copper chose Pung for the friendship date, and they've been in the spotlight for me since. I love how they both keep mentioning the comfort they found with one another, and how giddy they look after receiving letters from each other. I give them a 6/10 of likely becoming a pair. This is because I know Copper mentioned he is interested in 2 people (Personally, I think he's talking about Fifa and Pung, respectively.) And I personally, see the potential with Copper and Fifa, I just feel like there's not a lot of moments, so I can't tell if the moments are sustainable enough to be a pairing. Hopefully, with Pung on his friendship date with Porsche, we can see some interaction between Copper and Fifa to solidify how Copper feels.

North & Wave -- HEAR ME OUT, HEAR ME OUTTTT. I know a lot of people may disagree with this one, but I see potential. The latest episode had some cute interactions, and I was watching the DMD charity event from this year, and they did share some cute moments. However, it is way too little to actually think realistically that they're going to pair up. I feel like Wave might pick North, but North is definitely going to pick Otto. Therefore, I give them a 1/10 (because a small part of me hopes) that they'll become partners.

As for Phupha, Otto, Fifa, Pete, and Porsche, I don't know.

People do ship Phupha & Otto, and I do think that Otto might have a little bit of interest in him, but I'm not totally sold on them. I see the chemistry between North & Otto, and honestly out of the three potential ships with Otto, I think they are the most likely to happen.

People like Fifa & Pete (is it because they're the two youngest?), and I wouldn't be mad at this, I enjoyed their friendship date more than Patji & Fifa (unbiasedly), but I think they may be just cute friends, I'll keep my eye on it.

And for Porsche, as I mentioned in ALL my other DMD Friendship 3 posts, I love him and hope he finds someone his age either be added into the show or afterwards.
