Putty Patrollers, or Putties, are the clay golem-like standard army unit deployed by Rita Repulsa and her Evil Space Aliens during the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers... Though apparently made from the same basic clay or putty-like compound as the specialized creations, they differ from normal monsters in that they are mass-produced through use of steam-pressured molds and then sent through the monster machine in large numbers... Though generally identical, Putties often display some level of individual personality

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Evil Empire Aliens

Meet Goldar and his foot soldiers, the Putties.

Goldar serves as the main antagonist of the first Arc of this hypothetical show. He is an alien zealot of an old destroyed Empire of Evil, claiming to be searching for an artifact that was lost somewhere in Earth’s region of space thousands of years ago.

The Putties are mindless soldiers that Goldar seems to have a number of and uses as backup whenever he attacks. They appear to made of either rocks and gravel, or clay and earth, with slightly different abilities depending on the material. The number to which Goldar has access seems to be limited, as he appears to take less and less into fights with the Power Rangers as time goes on. This artifact may have something to do with the production of these creatures.

Goldar first comes into conflict with the Power Rangers after attacking Angel Grove Quarry, in hopes of finding the artifact buried there. From then on, he regularly fights the Rangers while searching for this artifact, eventually also having his wings severed from his armor by Jason in a one-on-one fight the two engage in partway through the Arc.
