i really do think theres smth to be said about endos and how focused they are on their headmates. it genuinely comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of the disorder they are bastardizing.

even subconsciously, i see so many parts of the endogenic community discuss and talk about their alters in a very obviously romanticized way. theres this kind of obsession in the community that i can very clearly see in the wording of their posts where they discuss their alters.

its the only part of the disorder they're mimicking, but its such a small aspect of the disorder itself. its a symptom, but they've inflated it far beyond what it actually is.

theres this kind of fixation with the concept i cant really explain. they discuss what their headmates get up to in such an odd manner it feels like humble bragging ? in a sense?? ive seen several blogs in which they complain about their headmates but in a way that feels like they're... boasting... ? ??

i think they consider the idea that their headmates have supposedly done something they did not want them to as 100% proof of existence. and they shove this proof in everyones faces with pride.

ya know it only took 24 years to realize we experience synesthesia. and it kinda makes sense that it took so long considering our experience with dissociation/CDD but also lowkey find it wild that we figured out the CDD ✨long before✨ the synesthesia. coming to know and understand our experience with synesthesia has actually been quite helpful in navigating some system stuff though. definitely explained and cleared up some things lmao. but it’s one of those things that different parts experience differently so it’s like we got a variety pack of flavors of synesthesias lmao
