Not me thinking about how a Telepath + Polyglot could manipulate their voice so that when they transmit, it sounds like the person they’re transmitting to. That way, it’d be like that was the person’s inner voice and not someone transmitting into their mind.

Forget all the real powerful abilities. A Polyglot + Telepath could make someone willingly want to jump off a cliff. No Beguiling, no Mesmerizing. Just pure, cruel manipulation of words. How insane is that?

Do u wish there were more POC characters in Kotlc other than the twins? I do but I’m not sure if I’m being selfish so do u think it’s ok?

I absolutely do think it’s okay! I don’t think it’s selfish to wish there was more diversity in the main cast. Tam and Linh don’t get anywhere near as much page time as other characters in the squad, and then characters like Wylie, Livvy, Prentice, Quinlin, Quan, Mai, and Maruca get even less page time (and don’t get me started on how annoyed I am that Prentice isn’t a bigger part of the story altogether for literal plot reasons—*inserts the “by all accounts it doesn’t make sense” Kronk meme*).

It’s particularly annoying to me that the “official” art of the series is so starkly white, mainly because then it gives off the impression that the characters being white is somehow “right/correct” and that it’s “wrong/incorrect” to headcanon them as anything else.

But that’s why being part of fandom circles is so great! Fandom gets to dream up and fix anything in canon they wish was different, and no one can stop us. I know loads of fans like to write and draw a lot of the characters as POC, particularly the immediate main Vacker clan! There’s some absolutely gorgeous art out there, so I definitely encourage you to check out lots of content creators on KOTLC tumblr to see that!

Descendants 3 Daughter of The Queen of Hearts Confirmed

So I didn’t expect to make a follow up post to my theory from yesterday but I found an Instagram post that pretty much confirms that the character is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts. I was searching through Instagram to see if anyone posted photos of the costumes from Good to Be Bad when I found a post made by Angelica Migliazza. In the post she not only posted photos of her character’s outfits but she also tagged it with Queen of Hearts daughter and Quinlin.

Now this in my opinion confirms that the character is the daughter of the Queen of Hearts and her name is in Quinlin. It also shows that she appeared not only in the large group dance sequence but also the scene where Jay slides down the roof. Her actress also posted a photo from behind the scenes with the Auradon castle from the finale so she may be in that scene too. However I’m not sure if she is a minor character in the film or if she is just an easter egg for the audience like the background characters in the first two films that resembled classic Disney heroes. The reason why I think she could just be an easter egg is that her actress lists herself as a dancer and does not mentioning acting so I just don’t want to jump to conclusion.

In the end I believe that we can treat Quinlin as the canon daughter of the Queen of Hearts which it is always awesome to have more characters in the Descendants Universe.
