Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa: Bruh, Rachel does that all the time - her brain seems somehow programmed to misread the words ‘push’ and ‘pull’ and just constantly mix them up. Beth constantly makes fun of them, because Rachel is usually very graceful, very elegant, not klutzy at all, but doors? Doors seem to be the ultimate challenge.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: ARIS, Aris totally does, and for a while, his desk look pretty bad. Teresa and Newt constantly make fun of him. Because it he writes ‘R+A’, they start humming Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, and if it’s ‘A+R’, there are about twenty million pirate jokes to be made, and Teresa and Gally are just too good at that.
Who starts the tickle fights: Rachel literally sneaks up on Aris, wraps her arms around him from behind and gently starts kissing him…until she starts tickling him and he loses it from laughter. He fights back though, and it usually goes on until they lie next to each other on their backs, panting from laughter.
Who starts the pillow fights: Rachel, again. She just has a thing for sneaking up on Aris and doing something that will leave both of them laughing until their stomachs hurt. She really likes the sound of Aris’ laughing.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Aris does. He doesn’t require much sleep, and he loves the way Rachel wraps her arms around her pillow and snuggles into it. Sometimes, he reaches out and tucks her hair back because it’s getting completely into her face, but most of the time, he just looks at her and smiles.
Who mistakes salt for sugar: Aris is a catastrophe. It happens over and over again, and he keeps insisting that the jars keep on switching all by themselves. Rachel tries to mock him about it, but then he brings up the fact that she doesn’t know the difference between ‘push’ and ‘pull’, and they keep laughing about these little things while they redo whatever they were cooking.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning: Rachel really likes tea, and they don’t have a water boiler, so she usually heats water up in the microwave. But even at one in the freaking morning, she gets distracted by some book or article she’s reading and forgets that the microwave makes sounds. Aris always jumps out of bed, thinking it’s the fire alarm, and it’s hilarious.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: Aris tries, and fails, because he always breaks into laughter or blushes. Rachel however can deliver the corniest, chessiest line with the straightest face, and she enjoys watching Aris’ reaction, especially if they are with their friends.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order: Rachel rearranges them, but not in alphabetical order, but with colours. It looks extremely pretty and Aris is absolutely slack-jawed, because it’s when they move in together and one day he comes home and gets greeted by this super-pretty shelf right when he opens the entrance door. He never knew Rachel would do something like this.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies: They share, always. The only thing they really need to pay attention to is to leave enough dough to actually make brownies.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Aris buys Rachel scented candles because he knows she loves the smells, so whenever he finds a new scent, he looks to have enough money left to give it to her as a present, just something sweet from time to time, and she always starts them at dinner with him.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Aris does, and he does it really well. He draws tiny filigree patterns on her hands, and it always looks very well.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: They choose them together, mostly it’s the places they liked most, and they pin them on the fridge door. Every time they go to pick something up, they smile at them, at the memories they conjure up.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: Aris totally forces Rachel to do them. They are super cliché, and she adds new twists and different ideas, like having them answer the questions from the other’s perspective or playing darts with the answer sheets and then evaluate them
