Autumn flowers on the Bottle Brush (Callistemon) very much appreciated by the Rainbow Lorikeets (Trichoglossus moluccanus) Callistemon are mostly found in the more temperate regions of Australia, especially along the east coast and usually like moist conditions. I find they do well as an established tree with little water in this area. They can either be pruned to shape or left to grow really big.
