sometimes, all you need is to grab a girl by her hair and walk her like a dog a little. sometimes all you need is to make a girl recite an apology over and over through tears and punish her when she stumbles over the words. sometimes all you need is a girl to kiss and clean your heels for you. ❂

remember when Glinda said “i didn’t expect magic to be so hard” and Elphaba responded “maybe it’s harder to make magic because things have been kinda easy for you, so you don’t need it” in that one deleted scene from part 1? okay so you know how Nessa her whole life had people do everything for her therefore she’s never had to work for anything (i mean she did have her own struggles, but her life had been easier compared to someone like Elphaba), and she was the sibling without magic, and the only time she cast a spell was when in act 2 she was experiencing the consequences of her actions for the first time and her life was falling apart and she tried to get Boq to love her but she read the spell wrong cause she can’t read the Grimmerie properly, therefore shrinking Boq’s heart by accident. (although we never got any confirmation that Nessa struggled with magic like Glinda did before that point, so maybe she did have more magic potential but it’s not certain) what if it has something to do with that? what if the rules of Oz/the Wicked universe is that magic only comes in times of hardship because it helps makes things easier, and it can’t come in easy times because if things are already easy, magic is not needed? and that’s why Elphaba had so much power (besides being a child of two worlds, of course) because her life was always very hard, and magic was a way to cope with it. (even if her attempts to help others and make things better with her magic backfired and even though she struggled with controlling her powers) i guess that’s why Elphaba gives the Grimmerie to Glinda in part 2, because she knows Glinda will need magic now that things are harder for her, and whatever spells she learns from the Grimmerie will make things easier for everyone in Oz.

two days ago i was ready to accept the fact that you might not be part of my life the way you are now. i don't know why i try to act like i don't care when last week you were venting to me and i like to think i showed you i really do care. you confuse me and its scary. i don't want to be confused by my supposed friends, i shouldn't be second guessing our friendship after the big fight last month. i thought we'd be okay but we haven't spoken for two days after arguing on friday morning and now i am worried that you have hurt yourself. which is kind of conceited but you haven't given me any sign that you are alive and okay. i sent you a text apologising because i don't want us to be defined by our fights. i want to know that you're safe and your new meds are working and that you feel happier or not and that you're able to tell me these things because you haven't told anyone else and i'm angry at you for making me keep secrets from the rest of the group.

but like a pathetic dog, i'll always circle back to you. no matter how badly you hurt me, how many times i cry in private because of you and our fights, because of your insecurity and mine. maybe that is my fatal flaw. sorry i ever acted like i knew you.

regret is a funny, funny thing. like on one hand you wish with your whole heart to go back and change things, and you think about it constantly: what if i did this instead of that? what if i said that word instead of another? but also, you can’t help but wonder if you would be the same person if things would have gone the other way, the “right way”. would you have meet the same people? would you have learned the same lessons? and it’s up to us i think to find the right balance. being able to mourn the chances lost but also being able to celebrate the good things that happened because of a wrong turn.

Hi, I'm a nonbinary, intersex, disabled, neurodivergent, mixed race, bisexual person who grew up living below the poverty line.

Oh? I'm just a single exception?

My friends include a pansexual trans woman; an autistic, bisexual, nonbinary person; and an autistic, masc nonbinary person married to his gay husband. I'm also dating a trans lesbian.

Also, of my friends from high school, since graduating: one came out as a bisexual trans woman. Another, who used to identify as a straight man, is now dating a trans man. Another came out as trans masc nonbinary.

My friends from college, including my best friend who is nonbinary and Jewish, and my roommate, who came out as a biromantic asexual during our junior year.

Still not enough? My aunt is a butch lesbian engaged to a butch lesbian. My older brother is neurodivergent. My sister is a survivor of multiple suicide attempts and now struggles with addiction. Even the son of my mom's best friend, someone i have no direct relationship with, is trans. My boss at work is a lesbian.

The world is diverse. If yours isn't, then you are blind, lying, or no one trusts you.

so I have a lot that I want to say about stuff but truly cannot express the words for it. (not related to the drama about umich tumblr)

the short version is; I have been super anxious about a lot of stuff on here, becoming super insecure about my blog, how I interact, my writing style etc. I’ve also been super anxious with life as well…. I suffer from a bunch of manageable but still major things (anxiety, depression, adhd— just to name a few) and it normally doesn’t stop me! but lately it has!

the recent events about umich tumblr or recent life events have not eased my situation, but in no way am I going to stop writing; but re invent the style & development of my writing, and the way I run my blog.

I have been nervous about posting because of certain factors of my blog that I want to change, and I have been too afraid to do it (I don’t want to say it because I am afraid of the backlash from those certain blogs about it) but I decided that I am going to do it. If they are offended by my choices, so be it. there is the unfollow & or block button for a reason.

I just want to say thank you to everyone on here! that support me, that help me, that love me & my blog! you guys are amazing and I wouldn’t change that for the world. I hope y’all understand my feelings, and take them into account. I am here for y’all always and I can’t wait to share the (many) things I’ve been working on, soon. again, thank you for the patience, and I hope y’all understand my struggles with posting. <3
