those people are a part of us too. Queer means odd, If we accept more people they will accept us too, we will grow stronger bigger, the homophobes will have to hate EVERYONE in order to hate us and Eventually they will be outnumbered, queer will be the norm. Weird will be the norm.
if we Accept everyone odd or ‘weird’ into our community, people will feel accepted and welcome. They will feel they are a part of something, people getting support from others will trust their own community more, be more willing to listen to ideas, stand up for us, Listen to others concepts, and eventually…accept.
Why are you so against the idea of someone wanting to change their skin? Do you not believe in freedom, or, do you not think it exists?
If you dont think It exists there is no reason to mock the concept. Then you are creating a stereotype in it which is contributing to making that subject a tabboo. If someone came up to you and told you they identified as black, wouldnt you think its…weird? See, it’s already happening. There is absolutely no reason why xey/dragon pronouns are weird, the only reason people think that is because of gender terms and because it doesnt fit into it as we know It.
There are actually communities of people who Identify as Other Skin colors, such as RCTA or Transrace/Radqueer Individuals, The More We Demonize and Distance ourselves from other ideas, The Harder It becomes to come out as those demonized things.
If we start buying into the Ideas of bullying or mocking people for being weird (queer)
then weve already lost.
