SOBBING at what happened to Reen.

All this while he's a voice at the back of Vin's head that's paranoid and defensive. She has to ignore that voice to grow out of her fears but she goes back to it for comfort when she's hurt. Reen beat her and it doesn't balance out the fact that he kept her alive. He was abusive. So obviously as one does with such charcters, I didn't like him. I still don't.

But then you find out he survived Inquisitors' torture and didn't tell him about his sister. And I am SOBBING because he loved her.

I wondered if he would appear. Maybe as a reminder to Vin like - what the hell are you doing traipsing around as a noblewoman! You're a skaa!

But then we see that he died. Died protecting her.

Of course that doesn't take away the abuse, but I feel less violent towards him now.
