Do you still see Tikal & Chaos on Angel Island?

Sometimes. Tikal tends to share her grace with the chao that are still on Angel Island, rather than communicate directly with me or anyone else that comes on the island. I don't mind, I know she needs her peace.

Ever since Chaos peacefully returned to the Master Emerald, he only reappears- even with the Master Emerald intact- during times of great crisis. He appeared when Eggman shot a laser at the moon, when Neo Metal reared his ugly head, when Dark Gaia was waking up again...

So if you ever really wonder how and why I can leave my island for many days at a time without being too worried, it's because I know my strength is better needed on Earth and not Angel Island. During times of great crises, Chaos and Tikal have the Master Emerald covered, and I know that they take that duty very seriously.

Out of all the people who take the master emerald

Who steals it the most?

Nobody "steals" it. They simply take it from its rightful place until I'm capable of returning it!

"That's kinda the definition of 'stealing' Knux."

Sonic! What the heck are you doing on my communicator? Ugh, I must've forgotten to hang up after talking to Tails earlier. Hang on.

...anyway, the person who takes it and fails to actually steal it the most is Rouge. After that stuff that happened when Shadow popped up for the first time, Eggman's kinda stopped trying to steal the Master Emerald as often. Probably because he knows he'll get thrown off my island.

Rouge, though, she's persistent. She wants the Master Emerald because she loves gems, and "all the worlds gems are hers to keep" as she put it. At least she doesn't try to trick me to get a hold of the Master Emerald's power, she's upfront with what she wants it for.

Why aren't you a fan of Batgirl? She's a fierce protector of Gotham and it's weird you don't like her.

Gotham? Is that some city in Spagonia or Adabat?

I'm talking about Rouge. That thieving bat has been a thorn in my side ever since I found her on Angel Island, right before that "ultimate lifeform" showed his ugly face to the world.

She'd apparently been after my emerald for a while. Her job at G.U.N. meant she had knowledge of Angel Island ever since Eggman was noted to have put his robots there. Even though she's a secret agent, at her core she's a thief.

I bet she sent this ask just to annoy me...

I do wanna ask how you see Shadow- Is he a friend, do you trust him?

Hmph. Shadow.

I haven't had a lot of one-on-one conversations with Shadow, but I can definitely tell you what I think of him: he's egotistical, he's overly aloof, and needs to make up his mind on whether he's going to actually use his powers as the "Ultimate Lifeform" (yeah right) for something useful or just sit around whimpering about fifty years ago until he realizes he can do literally anything else.

All this to say, me and him aren't "buddy buddy" or whatever.

He's tried to destroy the world, and nearly succeeded, twice. Once upon a time ago he used to be good friends with someone like Rouge but now he acts like he doesn't need them. Why, you ask? Because he's over fifty years old, and elderly people tend to get bitter.

Am I going to deny that his involvement in many near-world-ending scenarios has turned the tides in our favor? Of course not. He helped stop the Biolizard, Black Doom, Neo Metal Sonic. When he finally decided to stop being lazy he actually helped with Infinite, who I hear pretty much became evil because of him anyway.

Okay, I'm rambling, so final answer: he's a useful companion, but outside of that, he's become nothing but another self-absorbed "ally" that thinks the sun shines out of his half-alien butt.
