Don’t think so.
But here goes:
Regardless of where someone falls on the ace- or aro-spectrums, they have no obligation to anyone else to be in a relationship.
Yes, this includes allo people.
Nobody owes anybody else to be romantically involved. And shaming people, even jokingly, for being ‘too innocent’ or ‘lonely’ or whatever is just wrong.
Some people don’t want to be in any kind of relationship. That’s perfectly fine.
Some people genuinely haven’t found ‘the one’ yet. That’s fine too.
Some people just haven’t got around to dating. Also fine!
But also, never having been in a romantic or sexual relationship doesn’t mean ‘innocent’ or ‘pure’ or whatever. That idea can be pretty harmful - I should know, it’s the main thing that excludes me from the rest of my friend group.
I don’t know if this is just exclusive to the people I know (relatively liberal and all that) but I generally get more shit for never having been in a relationship than any of my friends get for having been in multiple.
That’s wrong, not because relationships are (they aren’t!) but because nobody should be shamed for who they have or haven’t been with.
