I think what people should learn is very simple: don’t be a hypocrite. If you want your safety from people who think differently than you, then don’t be a threat to people who think differently than you. That was once democracy. It no longer matters how you carry your views; what matters now is which views you hold, and today it is ideological consensus that decides who the enemy is. Democracy is dead. Honor is dead.

Who are you going to believe?

We have a choice, represented by either: accepting GOD’s definition for good & evil, or defining evil according to our whims..

We seize autonomy & repeat history whenever we choose to ignore GOD.

Problems ensue, we’re overwhelmed by the fallout of our sins. It keeps giving way to new & worsening complications.

This is the problem of sin, it keeps multiplying.

But all is not lost.

If humbled by the truth, return hat in hand.

We’d acknowledge our guilt, accept GOD’s gentle approach, right wrongs, rely on HIS salvation, strength, & wisdom.

We’d stop doing what we used to, replace old habits with GOD’s thoughts—meditate on HIS WORD.

There is power in GOD’s WORD, HE accomplishes everything HE wills [Isaiah 46:10].

Case in point, plagues (pandemics) will happen, [Matthew 24; Revelations 15-16].

Matthew 24:2-10 | “Do you see all these things?” HE replied.       “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be       left on another; every one will be thrown down.”       While JESUS was sitting on the Mount of Olives,       the disciples came to HIM privately. “Tell us,” they said,       “when will these things happen, & what will be the        sign of YOUR coming & of the end of the age?”          JESUS answered, “See to it that no one deceives you.       For many will come in MY name, claiming,       ‘I am the CHRIST,’ & will deceive many.       YOU will hear of wars & rumors of wars, but        see to it that you are not alarmed. ****       These things must happen, but the end is still to come.       Nation will rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom.       There will be famines & earthquakes in various places.       All these are the beginning of birth pains.****       Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted & killed,       & you will be hated by all nations because of My name.       At that time many will fall away & will       betray & hate one another,

Immigrant Contributions, History Repeats itself.

History reminds us that the arrival of new ethnic groups into the United States, outside of the Pilgrims, were each met with hostility and extreme prejudice. The Irish were subjected to employment difficulties with signs "Irish need not apply". However, they were the main laborers building the Erie Canal. The conditions were harsh and many died. The Chinese were also not welcomed but built the most of the railroads in California, again under extreme hardships and dangers resulting in many deaths. Puerto Ricans were not received with open arms either, just watch "West Side Story". In fact, Puerto Ricans did not ask or wait on line to become American citizens. In March of 1917, an act of Congress granted citizenship and two months later 20,000 non-English speaking residents were drafted into military service in support of WW 1. These are historical facts, not "alternative" facts. However folks, this is the 21st Century and education should have taught us to stop repeating somethings in history. Each new ethnic group has made a tremendous contribution to this nation. My apologies to the ethnic groups I did not cover. Finally folks, keep your eyes on the bouncing ball. Remember the pipelines where the Native Americans are again losing their lands. Protesters can now legally be run over by "accident and not intentional". Oil companies do not have to report oil spillage and the aftermath of such (drinking water). We gotta stay focused and not allow "alternative facts" to obscure the truth. Today is tomorrow's history. What will it say about us?
