Rewatched Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim's Morty (S4E4) and while it's generally one of my less liked episodes, I really love the Rick and Jerry bit towards the end, where they deal with the talking cat!
Throughout the whole sequence, Rick doesn't insult Jerry once! And they're both on the same page about the cat's bs. But most importantly - Rick tries to shield Jerry from the horrors the cat's committed and once Jerry traumatizes himself, he erases his memory of that to spare him.
Yeah, their relationship is still going to be rocky in the upcoming seasons (especially since it all seems to depend on a given writer), but I like how a friendship is slowly blooming between them. As a jerrick shipper, I'm also biased in favor or Rick caring about Jerry. We all know Jerry is the type who needs love and care and I believe a healthier Rick can provide that.
I hope Jerry returns in S9 soon, or we at least see Rick missing him during the day!
just finished rick and morty....i know he's like way older but good lord
holy shit i just googled his age, he's fuckin 70💀....my opinion hasn't changed I've just been made slightly more aware that my tastes are questionable.

BUAHAHAHAAH FINALLY DID IT!! It took it me a while but I finally finished this little proyect, it was nice to feel I did a small small animation gif this one it's based and inspired on @starstuckwastelanddog art at first I though it was weird because well.. it's Jerry and Rick! but the way they make it, make me feel confortable and start to like it! they know what they are doing, it's not just "I wanna ship it" they explain why they do it and it's make sence, they are many realities and everything can happend! so yeah, they inspired me to do this little thing and I think i did pretty ok!
