I would like to thank the black woman from TSA for breaking as many rules for me as possible so I could make my flight. Your a real one.

Also this was hands down one of the most stressful TSA experiences of my life im flying to a different place in my own damn country

People expect there parents to pay for college??? Question.

For me - no, not directly. A lot of families (at least in the US) set up college savings accounts when their kids are born, and the amount in it can vary. Depending on where you attend and what degree(s) you get, the stuff in the account may be enough to pay for all of it. There may be more than enough, especially if you attend a public university (esp in-state) or get a good deal of scholarship money. Other payment options include student loans, work-study programs, and the GI bill. A lot of parents would rather pay for their kid's college if they financially can than saddle their kid with student loans.

obviously, this kind of realistic finances discussion happens at least in senior year, and realistic discussion of paying for tertiary education isn't really ideal tv material.

Yeah I know i live in the US but a lot of people i know personally there parents would never pay for college or university its your burden unless your wealthy or have a wealthy relative or inheritance or win a law suit or something

Like once upon time when my dad worked for a university I had a full ride guaranteed at his university his job was at cause he worked there csuse nepotism but like once that was done im on my own. The most my parents would do is let me live with them for free if I followed there rules and like pay for food and stuff basically cover living expenses maybe the occasional textbook.

As my dad always said when your adult if you want to live under my roof you need to A. Pay rent B. Have a job (like if we were in debt to a degree that my parents would rather us not pay them) C. Be looking for a job or D. Be in school or basically E. Be bettering yourself in some form like health issues etc.
