April 24th - Damian Wayne Day: Time Travel | Different Mentor | Animal Transformation | Canon Divergence
Welcome to Robin Week!
We're hosting a week-long event dedicated to celebrating the flippier and quippier half of the Dynamic Duo!
Each day is going to spotlight a different Robin: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown, Damian Wayne, We Are Robin, and a free pick!
The aim is to spread some love to Robins from all flights of life! This could mean anything from your favourite Robin bobbin' along in their very own cape, to focusing on their relationship with one of the other bats, to examining their relationship to the mantle itself, or something else entirely.
This event will run from April 20th - April 26th. Here is the prompt list for 2026: Prompts.
If you have any questions, check out our Rules and FAQ, or send in an Ask to hear from us directly!
Tim Drake Day: De-Ageing | Hero Worship | Circus | No Man's Land
Tim knew he was creepy.
He’d known it a couple years now if he was honest with himself. As he coated the blank film with developer he was reminded of it ten fold.
The pictures pinned to every corner of his wall proved it.
He realised that it was probably dehumanising to keep and collect pictures of Bruce Wayne, but it wasn’t Bruce Wayne in the picture. It was the bat.
The bat famously known for being more than human, being an enigma, a deity. Even though Tim knew that was false, Bruce was a man and a father. When he took off the cowl — which Tim had plenty of pictures of — he wasn’t all powerful.
But Batman was.
He knew the obsession was insane, it was ridiculous to follow and chase Batman across every roof for pictures, not even pictures with him, pictures of him.
Does the fact that he can admit he’s wrong to do what he does alleviate the creepiness? Not in any way he can tell.
In his mind, the only thing the bat couldn’t do was catch him apparently. A thirteen year old jumping across rooftops with zero training shouldn’t be that hard to miss. Honestly he was more surprised he hadn’t been noticed yet, nearing his third year of bat-watching after all it was a miracle.
Sure there’d been close calls, aka, Jason telling him off for ‘accidentally’ (god he was so happy he was a good lier) getting to close to a crime scene, but they always let their guard down again after a few days.
But how they flew was worth every single close call.
It felt almost like watching a ballet to him, regardless of the violence believe it or not. Their feet landed softly, he’d seen Bruce cradle the heads of lost children, seen them laugh, seen how gently Jason is scooped up into Bruce’s arms when he’s hurt.
He stole a piece of Dick’s old cape a few weeks before he quit. He didn’t cut it himself, it was caught in a fence, but he had it. Maybe he could get some of Jason’s.
To himself, he some days dreamed of being Robin. Not as Tim, obviously, as someone else, Tim wasn’t what Bruce would want as Robin. He dreamed he was another kid, based off of how long between Jason and dick he’d need to be a few years younger to be robin after Jason quit, but letting himself dream wasn’t worth much.
He adored watching the bats, every inch of his soul did, it was almost like watching a dance to him, regardless of the violence. Their feet landed softly, their capes flickered in the wind, apart from yellow being a stupid colour for stealth they were perfect.
Pulling the photos out of the developer, he places them on the table, smoothing the damp paper out.
“Perfect.” He let himself breathe, the house was silent still, he could hear each of his quiet heartbeats.
As he pinned them up he almost let himself imagine they were there, they saw him.
God knows he saw them.

Damian Wayne Day: Time Travel | Different Mentor | Animal Transformation | Canon Divergence
Damian has been… surprised to say the least when Jason had took up being Batman.
It’d been 3 days after his death, the news was starting to see patterns and if his identity was revealed then leads would begin to form. Somebody needed to be Batman.
In order of legacy, how the heir system worked, Damian was sure dick would’ve become Batman, but his frame was smaller, and he wasn’t as tall, he smiled too much and his skin wasn’t as pale, they would’ve only been able to go a few weeks before someone noticed, but not permanently.
Jason hadn’t offered himself up for the cowl, Alfred did. Not intentionally by any means but he mentioned how similar they looked and it spiralled. Tim hadn’t wanted to keep Robin after that. He was sure Bruce was alive, somewhere, he didn’t want to just give up on him.
Damian wanted to believe him, he really really did, but he couldn’t.
Regardless of it all, Damian was pulling on the Robin suit. They’d made adjustments, but it was still Robin.
Training with Jason had been so different yet so similar to his grandfather and mother. He fought like them, he could move like them, but he spoke differently, he treated others differently, he treated Damian differently.
He was learning to like the different.
“What do you want?” Jason was stood in front of a food truck, fiddling with one of the belt pockets to get out his wallet.
“Huh?”
“Food,” he explained, “I don’t want you patrolling on an empty stomach.”
“You sound like Alfred.” It’d been about 4 months of Robin, it was becoming normal now, settling how Damien could imagine it was with Tim and Bruce, before.
“I’m getting you a halloumi shawarma.”
“Fine.” He tutted, feet landing on the floor besides him.
The largest part that had been different from what he thought Robin was, was the patrol. Talia had spoken like it was as harsh and demanding as league training, not… this. Getting food and talking and helping children and stopping drug trades, it wasn’t the excellence he expected. It was different. Better.
Damian liked this new better, his Batman played video games with him, helped him foster injured animals, held him when he hurt himself. He was different. Better.
So much better.
