✮ the world may know the saja boys as idols: the picture-perfect, cookie-cutter boyband. fruity hair, big smiles, cool outfits, iconic personas, et cetera.

but only you know that . . .

mystery is actually quite talkative. at least, when it’s just him and you. his voice is quiet, a melodic hum that you could listen to for hours. in the privacy of your home, he’ll recount his day for you — everything from jinu and baby’s newest spat, to what he ate for lunch, to all the times he thought about how he’d rather be home with you (which was many). he has a lot to say, once he knows you are willing to listen.

romance is lazy. his favorite dates are cozying up with you on the couch in your pajamas, watching some movie you’ve both seen a million times and eating ice cream straight out of the tub. he doesn’t mind going out and about, but truly his favorite time spent with you is when he doesn’t have to worry about anything other than being with you.

abby is the very picture of strength, but he likes being babied. he enjoys resting his head on your chest and being wrapped up in your arms like you’d never let anything get to him. after a lifetime of looking after others, it’s nice to be the one being protected. for such a big guy, he’s actually somewhat fragile, so be gentle with him.

jinu doesn’t really know what he’s doing. when it comes to you, his cunning intelligence and scheming is rather useless. he likes when you take the lead, encouraging him to try new things and discover what he likes and explore luxuries he never had before. he’s learning what it is like to be human for what’s really the first time, and he’s glad that you’re by his side to do it.

baby likes to take charge. he takes pride in being someone you can rely on, in taking up burdens to lighten your load. he’ll grin smugly seeing your surprise at the things he does for you, but inside he’s almost giddy that he can provide for you. let him look after you, it’s the most worthwhile thing he thinks he’ll ever do in his life.

[ when they realize they’re going to be fathers ]

featuring: jinu, abby, baby, mystery, romance

for the majority of the day, you had been acting strange-

closed off, even.

when jinu tried to give you a kiss, you would inevitably duck away from him. your nervous laughter would set off warning bells within his mind, but he simply brushed it off.

trying to hide the hurt from his face, later on, jinu attempted to give you a hug-

only for you to dart away from him in response, telling him that you were not in the mood for any cuddles at the moment.

jinu could feel his heart shattering the tiniest bit, the tears already threatening to fall from his eyes when he quickly excused himself into the bathroom. after slamming the door shut, the demon could feel the tears cascading down his face.

he stares at his reflection, seeing the melancholic expression as he swallows thickly.

maybe you were just hot, the summer heat was just getting to you and you wanted some time to yourself.

jinu kept repeating those reassurances within his mind, finally looking away from his reflection when his gaze lands on something settled on top of the bin.

it was a box that had the phrase PREGNANY TEST labeled on it, tossed haphazardly into the bin. jinu’s thoughts were racing a mile a minute when he takes the box, stepping out of the bathroom-

only to be met with your tearful face, holding the same test in your hand as it showed a positive result. jinu was rendered speechless, watching you with wide eyes as you explained yourself.

“i’m so sorry… you may not even want to be a father, b-but i don’t want to get rid of this b-baby. it’s h-half of you, and i promise to take care of it. you don’t have to-“

he couldn’t take it anymore, his heart now breaking into two at the thought of leaving you all on your own. cutting off your explanation with a searing kiss against your lips, jinu delves his fingers into your hair, deepening the kiss while swallowing the rest of your moans.

when the need for air proved to be too much, jinu pulls away from you, resting his forehead against yours while telling you, “you don’t need to do this on your own, not when i love you so much.”

you swallow thickly, feeling your fears and anxiety melt away when you met his gaze. “you mean it…?”

jinu gives you a sheepish grin, hands already settled on your stomach before giving your forehead a gentle kiss. “building a family with you is a dream come true, i wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

he slowly kneels in front of you then, pressing his ear against your abdomen while listening intently. no heartbeat could be heard just yet, but he could feel the tiny soul slowly beginning to bloom from deep inside of you. with tears of joy now streaming down his face, he places a lingering kiss against your abdomen, basking in the sensation of you embracing him fully.

you kept staring at the positive pregnancy test in your hand, tears already filling your vision at the thought of abby potentially leaving you.

being part of the saja boys meant that he already had a strong fanbase, all of them rife with women and men alike. despite how you had kept your relationship with him a secret (for the sole purpose of your safety) you had a feeling that this would be the final straw for abs.

as you kept looking down at the positive pregnancy test, you were unaware with how abby had returned home with your favorite takeout in hand. “i’m home, babe.”

when you didn’t answer him, abby took a better look at you, seeing you completely focused on the pregnancy test at hand. feeling his heart lurch, abby strides closer to you, taking the test out of your hand as he stared at it.

“what- ABBY!” you immediately stand back to your full height, trying to grab the test away from him, but he simply held it above his head. he was still emotionless when he manages to ask, “you’re pregnant?”

you swallow thickly, taking a step away from him as you wrapped your arms around your chest. “yes… and it’s yours… you’re the only one i have ever been with.”

abby’s silence was concerning now, and you had to clench your eyes shut to prevent the tears from falling.

“i understand if you’re not ready to be a father. i can raise this child on my own and-“

“hell no. you and this baby belong to me.”

you found yourself wrapped up in abby’s embrace, allowing him to pick you up before sitting on the couch with you. abby settles you on his lap while drawing comforting circles behind your back. “i’ll never leave you, only weak ass men leave their partners, and you know damn well that i’m anything but weak.”

you face him, straddling his hips while framing at his features, “you’re serious?”

“dead serious.” he places a series of kisses against your knuckles, “and i think it’s about time i finally announced you as my wife to the world.”

“stop chasing me! leave me alone!”

currently, you were running around your penthouse apartment due to how your boyfriend kept chasing after you. admittedly, he had good reason to wish to speak to you since in your hand was a pregnancy test-

and it happened to be positive-

with baby saja as the father.

however, when you realize that baby had come home early from practice, and he saw you holding the pregnancy test-

you panicked.

which explained why you were running away from him, avoiding him like the plague since you didn’t know how he would react. as you weave past the sofas, you heard a deep voice letting out a growl of your name dangerously close to your ear before finding yourself caught in his embrace.

“wait-“ words were lost to you the moment baby takes the pregnancy test away from you, looking at the two blue lines that confirmed a positive test. by now, tears were streaming down your face.

was baby going to leave you?

you wait with bated breath for his response, feeling anxiety coursing through your veins when baby tightens his hold on you. entering the kitchen with you still in his embrace, he tosses the pregnancy test in the nearest bin, heading toward the fridge as he pulls out a carton of ice cream from the freezer.

after grabbing a spoon, he heads toward the couch, settling you on his lap while tossing aside the ice cream lid. scooping up some ice cream, he places the cold spoon against your lips. “say ah~”

“ah…” you were immediately met with the creamy taste of ice cream (in your favorite flavor as well), swallowing as you were left in tears at how sweet baby was being. “y-you’re not mad at me?”

“how could i ever be mad at the mother of my child?” baby tells you in a nonchalant manner, still feeding you more scoops of ice cream. “i don’t mind sharing my snacks with you, or making your eventual cravings come true either. so don’t ever run away from me again, okay?”

relief washes over you like a tidal wave, immediately calming down your racing heart as you cling to your lover, allowing him to spoil you as you looked forward to spending the rest of your life together with him.

this was what had to be the tenth time you threw up in the morning.

your body was going through something strange-

each time you smelled fish, or the scent of something burnt, your stomach would twist and churn.

when you tried to take bites of your favorite foods, they stopped tasting as good to you-

making you gag as you immediately ran into the bathroom to puke put whatever you had once consumed.

this was driving you insane, and you had no idea as to why you were so sick.

after coming out of the bathroom, you saw mystery standing in front of you, already having a bottle of cold water in hand for you. thanking him, you take the bottle and drank most of it in a few gulps.

mystery then shocks you by placing a hand on your abdomen, “could you stay still for me?”

“wha- s-sure…” you trail off, feeling your face heat up when myst kneels in front of you, pressing his ear against your abdomen. he was completely silent, focused on… whatever he was doing.

after what felt like an eternity, mystery looks up at you with a smile spreading across his face. “i can sense a tiny soul growing here.”

the sudden realization made you stiffen in response.

mystery could sense another soul growing inside of you-

it all made sense now.

you feeling sick in the mornings, and how you didn’t feel the telltale signs of your period since a few weeks ago-

you nearly collapsed had it not been for mystery’s tight hold on you. wrapping you up in his embrace, he gently coos at you, pressing several kisses against your temple all while reassuring you,

“you never have to be afraid, sweetheart. i’ll always remain by your side.”

your teary gaze up at him, with you brushing back his hair to reveal eyes shining with absolute adoration for you. and when he leans down to capture your lips in a kiss, you returned his passion wholeheartedly, looking forward to your future together with him.

you’ve been having the wildest cravings lately-

from pizza drenched in mayonnaise, to pickled sardines and rice-

you had no idea why you were hit with such atrocious tastes lately.

as romance watches with horror at your latest obsession (fried calamari dipped in with whipped cream) he lets out a cough of your name. “my sweet, i’m starting to think you’re pregnant.”

you stopped eating mid-bite, eyes going wide as you met with romance’s concerned gaze. “pregnant?! don’t joke like that! i don’t even feel sick or anything-“

“…when was the last time you had your period?” romance gently interrupts you, finally making you stop and think. as you go back to the last time you bled, you count back the weeks before feeling sick to your stomach.

“oh god… you’re right.” you began sobbing uncontrollably, shoving aside your weird concoction of food as you wailed. it was now romance’s turn to panic, immediately kneeling by your side as he tried to comfort you.

“my love-“

“i missed my period! i didn’t bleed at all for several weeks, and ive been eating so much trash like it’s a damn compulsion. you’re right, i-i think we have a baby.” you continue to sob uncontrollably, practically inconsolable now as romance had to act fast and wrap his arms around you, carrying you away from the dining table and into the living room.

with you both settled on the couch, romance places you on his lap while wiping away your tears. “sssh, why are you crying so much, my love?”

“b-because i’m terrified of you l-leaving me!” you cling to the front of his shirt, earning a soft sigh from him when he manages to place a kiss against your hair.

“why would i ever leave the woman i love in her most desperate time of need.” he continues to coo reassurances at you, slowly kissing away each tear that fell from your eyes in the process.

“after all, this baby is mine, too. so there’s no way in hell i’d ever abandon you.”

your eyes widen ever so slightly before watering once more, now crying tears of joy as you fling your arms around his neck.

and while romance held you, he couldn’t help but smile-

hoping that you would give him a baby girl that looks exactly like you, gifting him a new princess that he could spend the rest of his life cherishing and spoiling with you beside him.

the lock clicks softly in the door, your husband quietly shuffling in. you perk up from your seat on the couch, calling out to him as you pad across the carpet to ask about his day.

your arms drape around his neck, his finding their place around your waist, dragging you to your tiptoes. you kissed him as he pulled you tighter, deepening your kiss.

his eyes eased open, lips reluctant to leave yours. his voice was just above a whisper.

i missed you.

his tone was painted in relief, like you allowed him to finally breathe again. he kissed you once more, thumb caressing your cheek as he pulled away.

he bends towards the ground, drawing your attention to a neat gift bag with tufts of tissue paper blooming from the top.

i got you something on the way home, he says, presenting the gift to you. open it.

you let out a soft gasp, thanking him as you lift the tissue paper out of the bag. an elegant card sits at the top of the bag, gold foil bordering white cardstock.

for my beautiful angel.

unfolding the first parcel, you lift a delicate set of lingerie, soft baby pink roses littering the white lace of the matching bra and panties. your jaw dropped slightly, lips parting as you met your husband's gaze.

he interrupted you before you could thank him, gesturing to the bag.

you opened the second, larger parcel, the bag now empty. the paper crinkled as you peeled it back, revealing two soft linen sets of matching pajamas. the shirts were identical simple white button downs. his set had pants, while yours had comfortable shorts, the pattern on both matching the lingerie he bought you.

clutching the gift to your chest, you kissed him, murmuring a gentle thank you between breaths.

he sat at the edge of your bed donning his new pajamas, legs folded, watching you try on your new set. elastic pulled taught over your thighs, the band of your panties resting snug on your hips. you adjusted your bra in the mirror, turning around to show your husband.

he looked at you like you held the world. a gentle smile graced his lips when he asked you to spin for him.

JINU

The movie was on, a psychological horror one. Jinu and you were tangled up together, snuggled in a big blanket, and Derpy was right there, head on your lap, while you petted him mindlessly.

You were scared, but you needed more snacks, so you told him to pause it. “I can go for more snacks, angel,” you peck his lips. “It’s ok, love. I also need to stretch.” As you were refilling the bowl with chips, you felt something on your hand.

The feeling made you scream, chips flying everywhere, along with the thing that scared you. He teleported right in front of your quivering form, “Angel, what happened?” You were pointing at the centipede on the floor, disgusted and scared.

He scoffed a little, sat you on top of the kitchen cabinet, looked between you and the centipede. Took the bug out, cleaned your mess, and washed his hands. He came back pecking your lips.

“The bug got your tongue,” you pouted, half offended, half embarrassed. “Maybe it did,” you turned your head away from him. You felt his hand on your chin, caressing it gently.

He turned your head to look you in the eyes. “I’ll help you get it back. Don’t worry,” his lips claimed yours, his hand tugging your hair lightly. Your hands are clenching his shirt.

ROMANCE

“Sweetness, don’t leave me.” His arms wrapped around you, his face buried in your neck. “I’m just going to take a quick bath, Romance.” His mouth left a trail of kisses from your neck to the corner of your mouth.

After what seems like hours, he lets you go, making you promise that you will bathe together next time. You left him in his bed. Ready to cuddle him once you are done. His bathroom always smells like roses and cherries.

Your body was screaming to take a break, needing to relax your stiff body. As you put down your stuff, you notice a tiny little menace in the corner of the bathtub, an eight-legged menace.

The scream that left your lungs made horror movies pale in comparison. Romance teleported inside the bathroom, fangs showing, his demon markings in full display, and you jumped right into his arms. “It’s in there, kill it. KILL IT”

He was a bit confused, but then he saw the little spider that had you so scared, and he laughed a little, amusing him. Your offended look made him take the situation more seriously. Like the prince in shiny armour he is, he quickly took care of it.

Quickly squashed the poor little spider with his finger. He tried to comfort you, but you rejected him, saying something about having the menace still in his hands. Washing his hands quickly, he wrapped himself around you.

“My poor love got scared?” his velvety voice near your ear, still with an edge of teasing you for what just happened. “It’s not funny,” pouting, he managed to link his hand to yours, his chin resting on your left shoulder. “Maybe we should bathe together after all.”

MYSTERY

The day was exhausting, so you decided to nap with Mystery. His fluffy hair tickled your face. You swore that he was purring as your hand played with his hair, kissing his head once in a while.

You needed some water, “Honey, I’ll go grab some water, ok?” he perked up his head, “I’ll bring it to you, darling.” He gave you a quick peck and got up to bring you some water. He teleported out of the room.

You stretched a little bit to keep cuddling your boyfriend after he came back. Turning to reach your phone, you saw it: a little caterpillar was on the bedside table. You screamed. He came back in, snarling, ready to bite anything.

You jumped, going straight into a corner, terrified. “In the bedside table,” he calmed down and looked at the caterpillar, grabbed a flower from the vase, got the little thing on the flower, and threw it out of the window.

He came back to hug you, petting your hair like you had just gone through something traumatic. “I’ll clean it,” he carried you out of the bedroom straight to the couch, he left you bundled off like a burrito, giving you a glass of water.

He went to the bedroom to clean. After he came back, he lay on top of you, your hands finding their way back to his hair, scratching behind his ear. A sudden pain erupted from your wrist, and he left little bite marks until he claimed your lips, soft and passionate.

ABBY

Sitting on a yoga mat, you looked at Abby’s back as he was doing hammer curls reps in front of the mirror. The slightly opened windows were still fogging up. You were focused on his back that you didn’t notice.

The feeling was unmistakable; something was flying near your ear. You turned around and saw a moth flying between you and the light behind you. Your sudden scream made Abby drop the dumbbells, ready to fight.

As he turned, you jumped on his arms, scared out of your mind. “I know you love my body, bunny. But you don’t need to yell like that. You cupped his face and turned his gaze to the moth still flying near the light bulb.

“Oh,” his teasing laugh echoed in your ears, “Oh no, the scary moth is going to get us.” The mocking in his voice makes your face red, wanting to hide. “You are being mean, just take it out! Please,” he says, putting you down gently.

He grabbed his sneaker, crushed the moth with it, and threw it out the window all in one second. You were stunned at how quickly it happened. His finger was on your chin, closing your mouth. Caging you against the dumbbell rack.

“You look pretty when you are scared.” You were about to retort, but his lips crashed against yours to keep you from getting angry at him. Deepening the kiss until you were out of breath, you pulled away from him, “You are lucky you are handsome.”

BABY

You were eating dinner on the terrace, enjoying the cold, refreshing night air. The view of the city was gorgeous, and even the city’s buzzing sounds made the moment last longer. Until you felt it, little legs crawling up your leg.

You screamed and jumped like a scaredy cat. This seemed to entertain your boyfriend, who was currently laughing like it’s the funniest thing he has seen in 600 years, his eyes tearing up, his cigarette forgotten.

“Baby, it's not funny! HELP ME!” You shake your leg to hopefully get rid of it. More scared by the second, feeling it move down your leg. Your eyes were starting to get glassy, the tears threatening to escape.

His deep laugh dies down to be replaced by a teasing voice, “It’s just a little bug, princess.” He smugly grabbed the little insect and flicked it to the street. “Well, what do I get for helping, her royal highness?”

His arms already guiding you to sit on his lap, you now felt embarrassed and offended. “You laughed at me, so you don’t get anything,” his hum making you pout even more.

“Poor thing,” he started pecking your lips, your hands grabbing his fluffy hair, his lips hungrily taking his prize for helping you, deepening the kiss more and more until you were putty in his hands.

papa!samuel guiding your little one as she colors

as you continue to chop the veggies on the cutting board, one by one from the ice soaked raw potatoes to the cleaned cucumbers, tomatoes and some carrots, proceeding for the breakfast of the day, fries and sandwiches.

while you are at it peacefully hearing the mornings birds on a dawn chorus with alexa playing your favorite song as you hum to that piece of work. there comes a loud whooping from the living room!

you cross your arms on the doorway, as you lean sideways towards the jamb, samuel is on the floor with his back against the pink sofa that he picked thinking seo-arin (your little one) would love the color he's a biggie for this kind of space, crayons scattered on the marble tile staining the flooring like confetti.

seo-arin got the dark black hair, from her papa who she always calls da-da babbling, as she's a five year old and not fluent yet, her hazel eyes from you and a streak of being stubborn that reminds sammy of himself and makes him laugh even when he pretends not to find it funny in front of you.

"okay," he says his voice sweet as honey but still a tad bit deep. "so start with the red one first- yes like this!" he takes the crayon holding her hand guiding through her fingers, drawing a shaky heart. "see? princess it doesn't matter if it's crooked okay? it's yours."

arin pokes her tongue out which makes her dad chuckle, grabbing the blue crayon smacking it across his knuckles, "now you're blue! da-da me red u blue."

he stares at his right hand seeing the blue line filling his tattoos, like some kid's graffiti artwork, he smiled and sighed like he has already gone soft. he pouted "marvelous. now i look like a walking art museum" exaggerating.

she giggled falling in his lap. "teach me dinosaurrr da-da!"

he nods with the softest smile possible "okay. okay... but first get up so da-da can help you draw okay?"

"yayyyyyy!" she cheers. samuel takes the green crayon, sketches the velociraptor's fat body, adds a few fluffy shyster stripes. then carefully helps her hand color the baby dino's hand wings, by the end of the chaos she's grinning so wide it makes you flush in the cheeks at the sight of it.

"good job! my princess," he mutters ruffling his huge hands through her hair, then the door creaks all of a sudden and both of them notice you.

"she gets that from you, the stubborn part." samuel says proudly smirking at you.

you snap back at him jokingly. "uh huh? and the mess?"

he shrugs, putting both his hands up in the air. "that's me baby." you blush which makes him widen his eyes remembering why he fell for you after all.

arin yawns, the green crayon she used to color the baby dino with her dad still clutched in her fist. she falls into her daddy's lap again and curls against his chest. he wraps his right arm around her, his big hands on her back. he keeps coloring the dino, one-handed like it's the most easiest thing ever.

you slide down beside them. he glances over at your face, your eyes meeting his. "baby..she's out."

"mhmm," you whisper. "you're stuck now 'da-da'," you mock.

he does not move an inch, just keeps scribbling on the paper and filling the baby dino line by line, arin's breathing evens out her chest easing as she falls deep asleep. his thumb brushes her cheek.

"you both are my entire world, i'll burn down anything for you both," he says his voice barely audible.

you lean your head on his shoulder, "sammy, you're my whole world, thank you for this and everythin-

before you can finish he kisses you on the mouth, holding you by one of his arms. like he's saying the things he never really knows how to voice, his lips warm in your mouth tasting the coffee he had earlier, when he pulls back just enough for the both of you to breathe, his forehead rests against yours. his eyes half-lid closed, his dark lashes brushing your underage.

"don't thank me," he rasps. "you're the one who made a home out of a thorn bed, you made this real my baby." you smile shyly meeting his eyes that he refuses to take off you.

"stay like this a little longer? mm?" you pout on his face your lips almost touching his nose.

he almost snorts. "yes my love. longer than that. forever by you side," his arm tightens around the both of you tangled together like nothing else matters.

"let us have our breakfast after this hm?"

he kisses your forehead again. "yes. ma." you snicker kissing his nose.

[sajakissed]

i want to try a million different hair products and i also have this new hot brush to style my hair and i can't stop thinking about trying them on romance first. like. idk he'd be such a good boyfriend and i KNOWWW he would gladly be the test subject for all my beauty gadgets -🎀

romance would be the kind to perch you up on the bathroom sink, standing between your knees as he lets you work your hands through his hair. he'd hum a new melody they're writing under his breath while you brush through the strands, his thumbs drawing slow, absent circles into your waist.

and he wouldn't just sit there and let you experiment, he will also participate. he'd be giving you his own opinions. he'd lean over and thoroughly read the ingredients with quiet focus, murmuring about which ones are best in moderation and which could actually help strengthen the hair. he'd even take a slow sniff of the product's scent, already matching it in his head with other products he knows would complement it perfectly.

"hmmm, silicon-based, but not the bad kind."

"and see this one? you don't want too much of that. it dries the scalp."

"this smells clean. we can pair it with that argan oil we bought last week."

but god forbid something smells too synthetic. he would wrinkle his nose instantly, a soft pout tugging at his lips. he would suggest a better alternative instead, but he was never dismissive though. he would be the kind to be eager to share what he's learned because he loves when the two of you discover new things together.

so when you hold up a product he genuinely likes, he would lean closer to you with an approving "go ahead, sweetheart".

and when it's time to use that new hot brush, he would sound like a man giving a professional review, but the little sighs that escape him betray how much he's enjoying this.

and when you're all done, he would engulf you in a warm hug and press a kiss on your cheek. "we're keeping these. let's add them to our routine."

Coming Home - Saja Boys

So, this is actually a continuation of sorts from Day 7: Moving Day. It takes place about a year later after the guys have all gotten very comfortable living with you and are happy to welcome you home.

Pairing: Saja Boys & Reader (platonic)

Summary/Themes: manager!reader, continuation of day 7, returning after a vacation, post-movie, they all lived and are now trying to be normal idols without their demon abilities

Flufftober 2025 - Day 9: Coming Home

When you return home after spending two weeks with your family, your only hope is that whatever problems the boys had gotten themselves into will be easy to get them out of. So, when you open the apartment door and hear arguing, you aren’t surprised. But you stop in your tracks when you can understand what they are saying.

“Hurry and get this cleaned up! We don’t want this disaster to be the first thing our darling manager sees. It makes us look completely hopeless.” Romance’s complaint can be heard clearly over the clanging of pans in the kitchen.

“Well, aren’t we slightly hopeless without our darling manager?” Baby retorts putting exaggerated emphasis on the last words to echo the other idol.

Romance huffs, “Don’t be a brat.”

You stifle a chuckle at the exchange, then focus on the voices coming from the living room.

“I think we need more blankets, or just bigger one.” Abby groans.

“Are you sure this movie will be alright?” Jinu asks.

There’s a few thumping noises and a muttered curse from Abby. But it’s all drowned out by the splash and scrapping sounds coming from the kitchen.

“Hurry! It’s almost time—” Mystery’s voice cuts off as he steps into the hallway and spots you. “Nevermind.” He quickly crosses the space and pulls in for a tight hug. “Welcome home.” Without asking, he takes your bags from you and heads to your bedroom with them.

“What?” Jinu's head pops around the corner. “Oh! You’re back already!”

Abby steps around him, still holding a blanket and a throw pillow. “We didn't expect you so soon.”

“I noticed.” You chuckle. “What’s all the commotion about?”

“We were trying to do something extra special to welcome you home.” Jinu rubs the back of his neck.

“Yes, there was supposed to be a homemade meal, followed by a movie and some games.” Romance strolls into the hallway. He looks as polished and put together as usual except there is a rather large wet spot from his chest to his thighs and up to his elbows on his shirt.

You smile softly at the plans they made just for you. “That sounds wonderful!”

“Except I ruined the food.” Baby steps into the hallway with his arms crossed. His face is in a full pout and also smeared with flour and something pink that you can’t really identify.

“I got the wrong movie.” Jinu adds, shoving his hands in his pockets.

Abby raises the blanket he’s holding. “There was also a mixup with the blankets in the wash…” That’s when you notice that the green fabric isn’t new, but rather that it used to be tan. It also looks oddly smaller, but only in certain sections.

“I was supposed to be on the lookout for you and make sure you were distracted until everything was ready.” Mystery says when he returns to the group.

Romance drops his gaze to the floor. “And I didn’t have time to set up any of the games.”

Your smile doesn’t falter but you do burst out into happy laughter. All the guys look at you curiously. “It makes me so happy that you would all put in so much effort for me. A year ago, you didn’t even want me in your space.”

“And now we can’t function without you for two weeks.” Romance confirms with a small smile.

Baby balks at that. “Hey, we were demons for years. We should be more than capable of surviving without some manager telling us what to do.”

“Of course you are, Baby. You all just aren’t used to doing things like this for someone else.” You wink at him. “Which makes it even more special that you tried to do all of that for me.”

They each give you a smile in turn.

“Now, I think we can still salvage tonight.” You rest your fists on your hips and give each of them a serious look. “If we all pitch in, we can get the kitchen clean and a new meal ready in no time. Then we can watch one of our favorite movies for the thousandth time and decide which games we want to stay up late playing.”

They all agree, and you quickly slip to your bedroom to change clothes first. You stop in the doorway and look at the mound of stuffed animals on your bed.  You poke your head back out in the hallway. “Um, where did all of these come from?”

Mystery grins. “We thought your little lion would get lonely without you, so we each got him a friend.”

Your heart melts a little at their softer sides. After you change, you scoop up all six of the stuffed animals and drop them on the couch to wait for the movie before you head into the kitchen to help with the cooking.

You Have a Girlfriend?!

Out of everything Shadow, a.k.a Hiromi Higa, keeps secret, you're his most beloved. You caught him just as the heartbreak of learning he could never be with his crush had held him down for two weeks. You worked at a bakery then, and he was a regular on his lunch break. You two talked and then a year later you two are moved into a lovely little apartment and terrors on the track of S.

Now, he didn't keep you a secret because he was ashamed of you, he kept you a secret because trouble followed the others, especially Reki and Langa, and he didn't need you getting caught right in the middle of it. But, he forgets that he's friends with the nosiest teens, adults, and middle schooler in all of Japan.

"So, Shadow, who was that lady in saw you with?" Joe asked as he was making everyone lunch.

"You were with a woman?" Miya asks, not at all believing that Shadow was actually seen with a woman.

"Just shut up and mind your own damn business!" Hiromi yells.

Joe holds up his hands in mock surrender while Miya goes back to his game. Hiromi glares at Joe, grumbling under his breath about "stupid pretty boys" and "nosey, rude brats". Though, his anger faded when he thought of you in your cute work uniform before his mind drifted to a treat you brought home last time, a box of sata andagi that made him start to drool just thinking about them. A light bulb then went off in his head, he could just text you to beg for some more. He goes for his phone, but it's not in his right pocket, he checks his left, then his back, then his coat before it dawns on him, he left his phone back at the apartment.

"Oh crap! She's gonna be so mad! She's gonna think I got hurt or something and I really don't want to see her cry," He said to himself.

Just as he was trying to think of a plan there was a soft knock on the door, causing everyone but Joe to look at the door.

"Finally, Reki to let princess in," he says, not even looking up from the pan.

"Why do I have to?" Reki asks with a whine.

"Because unless you want burnt lunch I can't leave, so get to it before he starts complaining," Joe practically orders.

Reki pulls himself off of Joe's couch and opens the door, expecting to see a pink haired man in a yukata, but instead he sees a young woman with a phone in hand.

Reki closes the door in her face, his face pink with blush at having seen such a cute girl. Miya looks up from his game and asks Reki if he was ok? Reki, after regainning his ability to speak, asks Joe if he invited a girl over. Joe laughs, saying that it was probably best he made the joke before Cherry could hear.

"No, I mean I saw an actual girl out there," Reki says.

Joe raises an eyebrow, as does Langa and Miya. Reki explains what he saw and Miya, just wanting lunch and to get back to his game, hops down from his seat and opens the door.

"Hello, is Hiromi here. I have somwthing to give him," you say.

"Hey, old man, there's a girl here for you," he says.

Hiromi looks towards Miya, and his heart stops. There you are, holding his phone. He rushes towards the door, almost knocking Reki over but it's too late, you're already inside. He asks what you're doing here, really hoping you leave so he can keep this secret just a bit longer.

"Oh, you left your phone on the counter and I wanted to bring it to you. Oh, I also brought some coconut hanabouru, I know it's your favorite. Anyway, see you at home!" You cheerfully say as you push the phone into his hands.

"Yeah, see you later, sugar," he says.

As you leave, you squeeze past Cherry, completely unaware of what you've just done. The questions start immediately

"who was that?"

"Why did she have your phone?"

"Why didn't you tell us?"

"How do you have a girlfriend?" Reki asks, sounding offended at the fact.

"Are you implying something, kid?" Hiromi asks.

"I mean, it's you! Is she blind?! Suffering some form of brain damage?" Reki yells.

Hiromi grumbles about "disrespect" when Joe interrupts, asking if they could at least know your name. Hiromi says no, so they all start guessing, either actually trying to guess or to get on his nerves, either way it breaks him.

"Fine! If you must know here name is Reader and she is the most beautiful woman in the world and none of you can have her!" He yells.

That makes everyone pause and Hiromi's face turns a new shade of red. Then Langa looks at Reki.

"Isn't that the name of the lady we delivered a skateboard to yesterday?" He asks.

The gears in Reki's head turn for a bit before they click into place, you were in fact the lady he and Langa delivered a custom, fully pink, almost magical girl like, street style skateboard. He looks at Hiromi, his face morphing into a smirk. Hiromi growls but neither of them say anything.

"Well, I'm happy for you, Shadow. I was starting to think you'd given up after your crush didn't work out," Joe says as he plates lunch.

"I guess even old men deserve happiness," Miya says, earning a glare from Hiromi.

Everyone grabs a plate, sitting somewhere they could eat when Reki asks if Hiromi would share any of the coconut hanabouru you mentioned.

"Don't push it kid," Hiromi says, eating his food with a smile on his face.

Reki goes to beg, causing Hiromi to cave slightly and tell him that you work in a bakery and that if Reki was really desperate he could buy some. Reki groans, saying he won't get paid until the 25th.

"Well, tough shit then," Hiromi says, going back to his food, dreaming of the coconut hanabouru he's gonna share with you.
