i took a bit to respond because right around the time your ask came in, i noticed he was changing color! for some reason, his fur is turning to a darker brown (you may be able to see it in the picture i just posted of him) so when you asked me his color, i was like “i don’t know how to answer this anymore!” lol
Obviously Eric and Alan are dead. But I hope to see Sascha and ludger in the manga later on. That image with all the reapers in it gave me hope of seeing them ag ain. It means their not forgotten, yet. I was wondering if your Eric and Alan getting placed back in the system will come true? Like it didn't make sense that a punishment for suicide for eternity (obviously none are redeemed, those poor reapers) to be stepped around by murder suicide . Or more reapers could do it after finding the higher ups lied and manipulate d them.

I also expect to see Sascha and Ludger again; why introduce such interesting characters for bit parts, never to return? I have a feeling it will require all the reapers they can muster to deal with Undertaker when they have a final showdown with him.
As far as Eric and Alan go, I do expect they would end up back in the system, or at least Eric would. In the musical, Eric actually chooses to die by Sebastian wielding a death scythe. Alan has a chance to pass along, though, since he had come to terms with the Thorns of Death while continuing to do his job. And, even though he deserted his post near the end, he died by accident, trying to stop the fight between Eric and Sebastian.
Hi weird question about blocked tumblrs, I can't find a mutuals blog on Tumblr anymore. But can on Google. I can send them a message and I get no error message but do get one when I reblog. If your blocked do you get an error when messaging? I don't think I've done anything offensive, I just post and reblog bunnies. But if I have been blocked, that's fine. I'm just asking as this has suspiciously happened while my phone has been playing up. Especially funny with its apps. I'm just worried it's a problem on my end. Thanks.
I was gonna test this out using the blog of a Yank who I really made mad one time when I called them a Yank and said that Australia has a culture for pranks, because for some reason that somehow meant I was accusing Americans of not playing pranks ever, but apparently for some reason she unblocked me and now I'm sad.
So gonna have to shoot this to other people, anyone know?
As for being blocked -- since it's a mutual though I'm thinking if you haven't done anything controversial, it's probably the app messing up. From what I've seen mutuals tend to remove each other through soft blocking (blocking someone to make them unfollow you, then unblocking them so that lines of communication are still open if necessary), I have the impression that it's rare people outright hard block each other when there hasn't been any actual conflict or hot takes involved. But I don't have any actual numbers, I could be wrong.
I wrote a whole post about how people use blocking to curate their online experiences but it only really applied to strangers and I wrote it for like half an hour not realising it was a mutual before I reread your ask OOPS

Her face does have skin, only the bone of her nose cavity is showing and her teeth (but she might be snarling in the art).
The skin must just be very thin, its ghostly pale too, but you can see where it stretches over the face. This is easier to see round her eyes and above her nose cavity; You can even see the difference in the colour of her bone on her “nose” and her face and neck!
What made me realise/ question and look closer at the official art was that in one scene she kisses you (she also smiles in the game too). I thought- “Hang on a minute… how can you do that with a skull face?”
I really didn’t realise that it was skull like (due to how thin the flesh on her face is pulled over her) and not her actual bony skull for a face.

After you pointed that out, I checked her picture and she also lacks a gap you’ll find in the skull -- in the skull, there’s a gap behind the back teeth, underneath the cheek bone, before the mandible. Dove doesn’t have this.
So I think you’re right, she’s not an actual skull, she’s got shrink-wrapped skin!
... Still can’t see her lips (it looks like the skin ends where the teeth roots do), but she must be grinning to scare the shit out of the Courier or something in that picture. You’re missing Melachoate! Melachoate was the actual Nictuku, along with Androvikus. The latter must have broken off with the Nictuku at some point (or perhaps Melachoate did) because he told his childe, Rasalon, that not all Nictuku were evil. But he was also assassinated by the Nictuku, which is why I think Androvikus was the one who got away from the Nictuku. Maybe he was never blood bound to Absimiliard -- as powerful as a Methuselah like Melachoate would be, it’d be no mean feat shaking off a blood bond to an Antediluvian.
Anyway the bloodline is this:
Caine (1) Zillah (2) Absimiliard (3) Melachoate (4, he’s the actual Nictuku) Androvikus (5) Rasalon (6)
Which leaves Reremouse (7) Modian (8) Dove (9) and the Courier (10)
So I presume what happened was that Androvikus was Embraced by Melachoate, but for whatever reason not bound to Absimiliard. He had friends in the Nictuku, but had to leave, and was assassinated for it. He told Rasalon about the Nictuku. Rasalon, meanwhile, pretended to not be Nictuku and that he was the grandchilde of Medusa.
We may have Rasalon to thank for Nosferatu solidarity -- it was his life’s mission.
So either Rasalon didn’t tell Reremouse what their lineage truly was, or Reremouse never told Modian.

For Wendyfic -- its title is “Radio Silence”, and it is not up yet. I am currently writing the second draft (muuuuuch slower than the first/predraft bc of the way I write). I’ve written the second draft just for the first couple of chapters -- it’s slower going because it’s editing, and also because uni just started up again.
As for Cock Robin -- poor bugger gets bullied but he gives just as good as he gets, lol.
But there’s one role he does play, and it’s as a critique of Nosferatu culture. And when you stand up against an entire culture... yeah, they’re not gonna be happy. Hence why the Nosferatu dislike Cock Robin so much in my fic.
Below the cut I discuss how this happens, with only very mild spoilers (spoilers for themes, basically, and how certain characters reflect those themes without going into the WHAT they do to reflect those themes). Spoilers for Wendy’s Embrace fic follow.
Radio Silence is about what happened following the NSA breach of SchreckNET in 2004. In it, the Camarilla want a scapegoat for the breach -- and they choose Gerard Rafin (Uncle Smelly) and Wendy Taylor, the creator of SchreckNET and his childe respectively, as they are the administrators of SchreckNET and therefore its security and the security of the Masquerade there were their responsibility. While Uncle Smelly is in Camarilla custody, Wendy escapes New York to go to Baltimore in an attempt to redeem herself and her sire, only to realise there’s more to the Breach than she thought there was.
One ongoing theme throughout Radio Silence is Nosferatu culture -- how it’s basically an extended family. In a world where most Kindred are loners who distrust and actively screw each other over, Nosferatu are the opposite (at least, in my headcanon). That Nosferatu are very social creatures and, for the most part, very welcoming and warm towards other Nosferatu. They are very loyal.
For most of the fic, we see the more positive aspects of that. The positive aspects of having a place to belong, the positive aspects of the warmth between Warrens, the positive aspects of the expectations being part of a Warren confers on you and the positive ways of how people respond to that.
But there’s no such thing as a utopia, and thoughout Radio Silence there’s references to the... not so good parts of Nosferatu culture. The flipsides of the above.
That’s where Cock Robin comes in.
As an antagonist, he shines a light on the shadow sides of being Nosferatu.
Like, Nosferatu are very loyal and cover each other -- that’s a good thing. Right?
Except when it’s not.
Like when you’re loyal to someone that fucked up big time and the covering up of those mistakes leads to worse consequences down the line than if the Nosferatu had thrown the person responsible under the bus. Cock Robin drags this aspect of the Nosferatu out kicking and screaming from under the carpet where the Nossies hid it. In the City that Never Sleeps we see Calebros covering up Wendy’s breach of SchreckNET to Michaela to protect the Nosferatu and Gerard; in Radio Silence Cock Robin condemns behaviour like that because it hides just how much of a threat there is to the Masquerade to the Camarilla. Robin condemns that kind of deception because it threatens everybody.
Cock Robin represents truth, and how unpleasant it is, and how it can be incompatible with loyalty.
Nosferatu value loyalty; Cock Robin shows how loyalty can be destructive.
Nosferatu value secrets; Cock Robin shows how that can threaten everyone.
Nosferatu value love of family; Cock Robin shows how that can ultimately destroy the family.
So yeah. He pisses off every single Nosferatu in the fic because he’s not afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right even when it inconveniences the Nosferatu. He’s an iconoclast, and nobody likes an iconoclast. If a nail stands out, it gets hammered down. And the Nosferatu, including Wendy, want to hammer the shit out of him.
Cock Robin basically forces Wendy to face certain parts of Nosferatu culture that she was uncomfortable with, parts that she has been trying to pretend she’s okay with or will eventually be okay with. She doesn’t like that. Especially when it forces her to choose between her morals and the people she cares about.
I really, really had a blast writing his role in the fic.

Given how much he freaked out about Dove’s appearance to the point he thought Dove was somehow magically not his childe despite being there, I presume Modian was in ignorance about his Nictuku heritage.
