New Year (Open starter)

The nightmare king let out a low groan as he heard the mortals cheer as the count down ended. “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” they cried. The boogieman rolled his eyes, “Foolish mortals” he muttered under his breath. The dark shadow creature watched from the roof top as the humans partied and drank in the town below. “This is the worst night of the year to feed off fear” he said with a huff.
