Hi uh… so im alive and not dead.. 😭 im sorry for dying for an ENTIRE YR.. It's so fun how almost every Rise!version of Usagi works at Hueso's. He's applied for the job and Hueso has to deal with the added headache of hiring someone who is at the same level of chaotic as the turtle siblings.

However, what if Usagi has personal conections with Hueso? Like, what if Hueso is/was friends with Usagi's parents, or perhaps knew his grandfather? And thus when Usagi comes to the city, Hueso takes on the role as his guardian. (I have yet to decide if there's some dramatic or tragic reason or backstory to this or if it's simply Usagi moving there to become more independent or to continue his training)

And then when Usagi starts dating Leo (or Donnie, as donsagi is niiiiice content as well) Hueso turns to Usagi like:

Hueso: Is this your rebellious phase?

Usagi: 🙂???
