Found another classic 1800 Philadelphia, PA townhouse. Let's see what they did to remodel this one. Looks great from the outside. 2bds, 2ba, $600K.

Uh-oh, blue toile overload. I like toile, but it's too busy to be on every wall. Other than that, the living room is cozy. Cute fireplace, but it's blocked off. I like to be able to put something in the firebox. Nice built-in shelving.

Nice window seat back there, too.

This is the first townhouse I've seen that wasn't one large living room/kitchen combo on the first floor with an open stairway in the living room.

Love the blue kitchen and it's an eat-in kitchen. I like the idea of painting dated "colonial" chairs in a bright color.

Look at the handle- these are the original steep stairs in the living room.

And these are rear stairs in the kitchen.

Nice primary bedroom has an en-suite.

Built-in book shelves.

Small bath is cute, though.

Bd. #2 also has shelving and an en-suite. So, both baths are upstairs in the bedrooms.

This bath looks bigger. Maybe b/c it has a pedestal sink.

There's a cute little private patio.

The street is so pretty, it's like a lane, but the problem is parking. It's street parking, and it's got to be on another street, b/c you can't park here. That would be a deal breaker for me.

🎤Bubble Pop Karaoke (Karaoke Bar & Bubble Bar)

Another community lot for Willowbrook uni, this time it's a "shopping street" lot, which has a Karaoke bar on the left, and a "Bubble bar" with a restaurant on the second floor on the right. From the outside it looks like 3 different shops, because it looks nicer imo :D Floorplan under the cut.

The first beta can be downloaded here. ( Its no longer available ) This version will no longer be available when future versions of the world comes out. Some of the homes are left unfurnished because they need to be furnished by CJplays, and he will also contribute a dance club and complete a shell challenge I created specifically for him. Once CJ finishes it, the finished shell, will appear in a future version of the Fort Briar and I will upload the empty shell currently placed in the world to the exchange for other people to try out. In the meantime, please let me know about any issues you encounter play testing the world and anything you think I could improve upon

5-19 West 29th Street, 2022.

I photographed this row about a year ago and it was demolished shortly after this. It’s now a vacant lot or “green space” as described by the owners, Johns Hopkins University. This is a classic case of demolition by neglect. JHU sat on these for over a decade and let them fall apart. Their reason for demolition was that they could not be repaired, which is nonsense. They are currently building at least three new buildings a few blocks away, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t be able to fix up these historic rowhouses on their campus that could’ve been used for housing or offices. Such a waste, but typical of big institutions that own property all over the city and state. Shame on you, JHU!

On a personal note, my great-grand uncle bought and lived in #17 back in 1912. Glad I was at least able to document another piece of my family history in Baltimore.

In addition the property benefits from; A conservatory, front garden with shared side access leading down to a garage with storage space and a generous sized private rear garden."
