An NYC attorney for the DA's office falls for a man who comes from a secret place far below the city streets where he must hide himself due to his appearance, safe from hate and harm. There's even a love triangle a la the trio with an NYC millionaire that definitely gives off Raoul vibes (but I won't give it away because there's so many twists that the triangle is actually interesting) It's all on YouTube for free, link here:
It is part lush romance part detective drama. Every time Ron Perlman reads poetry in his voice as Vincent, I swoon. Give it a try you won't regret it. When the Bluebird Sings is a beautiful one for Phans as well as it involves ghostly activities ;)

I finished rewatching Amadeus for probably the 20th time and holy, I love this movie with my heart, each time I rewatch I find something new to look at. (In this case, Schikaneder's unibrow and those very weird statues Salieri had on his piano) F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hulce, Elizabeth Berridge (and not to forget Simon Callow and Roy Dotrice) are all so good in their role. This movie is a masterpiece in every single way
