a study on tim drake’s hair
alternatively: sharing irl comparison pics of haircuts/styles tim has had through the years
tim was robin from approx ages 14-16/17. during that time, he’s had many hair styles, but his first hairdo in the early ages (ie. robin ‘91 & ‘93) was a somewhat spiked up style (he certainly used gel).
in his early robin timeframe, tim sported the well-known middle part & undercut combo (yj98) that is, admittedly, a staple to his character design.
during ‘one year later’, and when he took on the red robin mantle (rr09) at 17 y/o, he had grown out his hair to a somewhat faux mullet for a couple years.
when things started to become ‘normal’ again in his life (batman ‘22) (td:r ‘22), he’s around 19 y/o. he went back to the robin role & cut his hair back to the familiar undercut his character is very well acquainted with.
in the recent batman ‘25 issues, tim’s now approx 21/22 y/o. he lacks a middle part and has a higher undercut fading up to the top portion of his hair.
notes: and that's it. i just wanted to look up tim's hairstyles and post abt it lol. hope u guys get to use this as a reference (if so desired)!! check out my works <3
