SUMMARY: (Y/N) is the boyfriend of Ai, and stepfather to Aqua and Ruby.
As an infant Aqua knew how much you meant to Ai. You encouraged her to follow her dreams of being a mother and an idol. And to make that possible you helped take care of them. You treated them delicately despite not even being related. It brought him back to his relationship with his relatives, and for a short period, Aqua treated you coldly; it was a measure taken to protect himself.
Aqua knew you were curious as to how knowledgeable he was for his age. But he appreciated that you still treated him like a kid. The true embodiment of a father, you didn’t want to see a kid grow up too fast. Even though Aqua wasn’t particularly moved by your efforts, it was still a kind gesture nonetheless.
He was fairly pleased at the interest you took in his hobbies. You encouraged him to do whatever he wanted, whether that was acting, behind the scenes work, or even being a surgeon. And you always tried to convince Aqua into doing father-son activities; sports, gaming, fishing, ect. After a while even Aqua had to admit it: he really liked you and that you would be there for Ai.
Aqua knew he could trust you from the day when you protected Ai from that stalker. It was thanks to that event that he even bothered opening up to you. Aqua and Ruby both trusted you to protect her whenever they weren’t there. And so, they confessed their origins of reincarnation.
Ruby was fairly on guard around you as an infant. Ai was HER idol and now her mother; not just anybody should have the honor to be her boyfriend. She wasn’t afraid to unabashedly simp for her mother though. Even with those walls she built up, they immediately crumbled when Ruby realized you were also a big Ai Hoshino fan.
Growing up was tough for Ruby. Being stuck in a hospital bed without her parents, even as she was dying, left her traumatized. She couldn’t handle falling down, fearing the worst. Ai was there to support her, but you were also there; her number one fan. “I’m so lucky to be the dad of an adorable idol”, glow sticks already made, coming to every single one of her practice sessions. Your commitment meant a lot to her.
Ruby had a whole bunch of hobbies, many of which were Ai’s. You made the effort of entertaining her past times: singing contest, dancing to Just Dance, dress up, and allowing her try out new makeup on you. Her favorite secret hobby however was shipping you and Ai; she’s still pestering you two to get married already!
Ruby already had an affection for you. In both of her lives you’ve been even better than her actual father. And she knew there was no going back on her trust in you on that day you protected Ai from her stalker. Since then Ruby made a promise to herself: if anything ever happened to you or Ai, she’d seek revenge on the person responsible. No matter what.

Just as surprising for them to be reincarnated as their favorite idol's childs is as surprising as getting to know that their other sibling is just a normal baby, someone who actually is the age they appear, still that doesn't mean they will take it as something bad, it isn't bad, just surprising
Ruby will probably be the one who is actually more excited by it, she is just childish and energetic so she will find quite fascinating that she has a sibling with who just play around and act as the age you two appear to be, however she will be a little nervous about Aqua's reaction since she thinks that he will want to take advantage for being the older, so she may be a little wary with him when it comes to you, but just at first
In the other hand, Aqua is quite worried about you, he thinks since the medical view and know how dificult (and probably unhealthy) for a baby can be this situation, a newborn need its mother and the lack of her presence can affect you while growing up, physicaly and mentally, however, he doesn't judge Ai in the slighest and prefer to try and help his new little sibling at the best as he can, just acting as a caring brother to cover up that he is trying to actually take care of the baby
It won't take much time before both start to actively taking care of their baby sibling (specially since at the start Miyako wasn't too interesanted on actually taking care of all of you), Aqua is the more mature and the one who is taking in consideration all the needs of a baby when trying to take care of you while Ruby is more the type to fuss and actually play a lot with you
It isn't surprise that Ruby grows quite clingy with you since, unlike Aqua, you actually can match her own childish behavior and you two can just go around and play, still Aqua doesn't mind it much, he has his own way to interact with you two and thinks more in the security of both
It isn't that he doesn't trust Miyako (only after she actually started taking care of them), is just that since he was a doctor he just feels this responsability of taking care of you, and since now he is your sibling the need of taking care of you only grows, what lead him to constantly watch over you and try to teach you things you must know as you grow up. Aslo, this way he feels like he can take some weight of Ai's shoulders since she barely has free time, with his help she doesn't have to worry much about the three of you
Ruby tried to teach you a few things too, but she isn't as smart as his brother so she teach you things that are mostly childish or that just had just learn, is a little embarrassing for her not being able to teach you as much as Aqua can but she still loves doing it
Also, as you grow up and become more aware they will teach you about your mother and how amazing she is, that wasn't even planned is just that they just can't not feel mesmerized and prous of her mother, even Aqua who most of the time keep his cool talks about Ai with a lot of excitment with you, although they (mainly Aqua) makes sure to teach you the importance of keeping your true relasionship as a secret
Ai doesn't has much free time, but all the free time she has she spend it with the three of you, and she may don't know much about parenting or babies but she is always trying her best, so for both of them actually being not so young and helping taking care of you helps a lot, that way Ai can just concentrate on having quality time with the three of you
After Ai's death all of you will go through dificult times, but still none of them forget about you and keep taking care of you, Ruby tried to go as the same as she had always been but gets closer in a more emotional level, while Aqua will have some troubles because he is desperate going between wanting to find out who in hell have done this to his mother and wanting to help you out since, despite everything, you are the one who actually have lost their mother as a young age. Besides, after this you'll have more help from Miyako, it would take a while but at the end all of you grow to be a good and close family

-Aqua is weary of you initially, suspicious of what your intentions with his dear sister are.
-When Ruby told you she wanted to be an Idol, you committed yourself to her goal. She was practically your best friend and you were eager to help her achieve this dream.
-Especially with how many horror stories you’ve heard about that industry, you wanted to protect her from that.
-Especially when she burst through your door one day so excited about how Miyako promised to help make her an idol.
-It was actually happening, Ruby is taking the first step to achieving her dream. Your smile overtook your features, you wrapped your arms around the girl and lifted her off her feet as you swims her around and around you both laughing all the while.
-The next day Aqua’s usual stoic demeanor softened when you told him you wanted to help protect his sister.
-Miyako smiled when you asked how you could help Ruby any way you could
-Miyako was torn, she liked how you were always trying to be there for Ruby but she also knew Ruby being so close to you would only be a negative for her popularity.
-You were assigned as Ruby’s bodyguard, while Ruby was off practicing dancing and singing, you were sent to a gym where you would practice martial arts, self defense, and whatever else Miyako deemed necessary.
-Your busy schedule didn’t leave much time for you to spend with Ruby, sure you’d have lunch together but nothing outside of school for the most part.
-Sure you’d study together once or twice a week while throwing junk food at one another between quizzing one another.
-But no arcade visits, no lounging at karaoke, and no just visiting with one another unless you were at school.
-You told yourself that this was fine, that it was gonna help Ruby in the long run. That’s what you told yourself to motivate yourself to keep pushing
- You had the afternoon off, same did Ruby. You had stopped by the studio to spend your time not having the energy to go out after your rough week.
-You had walked into the studio to take a load off and rest for the day, maybe talk to Miyako if she wasn’t busy.
-Instead you were in awe watching as Ruby danced and sung her heart out for rehearsal. You were quickly reminded what all this work was for, even if you didn’t get to spend time with you’re best friend right now. You knew it was going to be well worth the effort.
-Ruby had practically thrown herself into your arms when you stopped by the studio with lunch for the girls. Ruby was bouncing off the ways eager to tell you about their first official performance.
-You were almost as giddy as she was when you had finally processed the news. Mem-cho and Kana laughed to themselves as they watched you and Ruby holding each others hands, and swinging your arms while as you two skipped round and round.
-You were exempt from voting for who got to be the center, due to Kana and Mem-cho claiming you already had an obvious bias…they were right
-Not wanting to waste an opportunity to spend time with Ruby. You joined them in the karaoke club. Memcho had a blast watching you and Ruby sing together dancing around the room with one another
