Health issues still kind of beating me with hammers, but here are some more character refs I managed to clean up!
First two are Lydia and Josiah, Samson and Dell's parents. Lydia was formerly the daughter of a duke in the Tulose Quarter, but eloped with Josiah, a simple fisherman, and thus was disowned by her parents. She didn't regret it one bit, however, and became the main tailor in the family's small village.
Josiah, meanwhile, is a veteran of the Last War, the most recent wide-scale conflict of the continent of Lepsos--and hopefully the last, as noted by its title. Despite being invented a long while ago, guns weren't widespread, so there wasn't much in the way of defense against them, and due to getting shot in the leg, Josiah had to have it amputated and was then discharged.
Next is Rufin, a character who won't be relevant until Chapter 2. He's a Basilisk, a race that has been seen less and less in the past few decades, mainly due to racial prejudice--Those that remain stay secluded, for fear of aggression. He lives in a village mostly populated by Volvendi, and is really only allowed to stay due to his knowledge of medicine.
Finally, there's Cherry and Peachy, Fae of the Great Growth and Bright Heat courts respectively. They're very low on the Fae chain of command, acting somewhat similar to Pain and Panic from Disney's Hercules--Not very capable, even together, and more annoying than anything else. Despite being from different courts, they are almost inseparable friends.
