Typically id put the gmm fandom in the most nontoxic groups 9 times out of 10.... But there's a subgenre of supposed "fans" I've seen in the comments here and there, and luckily not super often, but often enough that its gotten on my nerves.
Good Mythical Morning just DOES NOT WORK without either Rhett OR Link.
They've always been strongest together as a comedic duo, and have amassed a following through their crazy antics and enduring friendship. Sometimes they fight like an old (platonic) married couple and other times they get along and finish each others.... sandwiches.
Sometimes Rhett can be elitist and rude to Link, and Link can be careless and reckless with Rhett... People are complicated, and while I dislike either at given times, I respect and admire both as entertainers, creators and PARTNERS.
You hear that? They're business partners, co-collaboraters, and most importantly, FRIENDS.
THEY ARE FUCKING CHILDHOOD FRIENDS.
Friends fight, friends argue, friends chastise, and yes, even "bully" each other (in good fun of course,) at times.
These morons that constantly hate on one or the other and try to pit one against the other... "But He's better, but he's ruder, but he's a jerk.... Blah blah blah."
How do you not understand how utterly pathetic and stupid that notion actually is? How fucking boring the show would be without Rhett or Link?
How it just wouldn't work.
And I see this A vs.B style mentality in so many fandoms it honestly makes me hate fans.. (And I'm saying that AS A FAN OF SHIT)!!!!
It sucks all the fun out of everything when assholes take shit way too fucking seriously and are too underdeveloped to understand that you can, idk, like two or more people at once, can idk, disagree on some things and not attack the other side of the fandom or try to "cancel" specific people. (Unless what they're doing is ACTUALLY PROBLEMATIC AND TOXIC).
You are allowed to have options and preferences and all that bullshit. But this kind of shit? Is honestly so fucking idiotic and asinine and obsessive. Just let people live. There doesn't always have to be drama, or controversy where there is none, or fucking this v that. Fuck you if you're one of these insufferable people.

(sidenote: and regarding the context for THIS COMMENT. I 100% agree, what Link did in that episode was completely over the top and over the line. I don't know what he was thinking/doing. And of course it's not at all okay if Chase was actually made to feel uncomfortable or upset... I'm glad he apologized and reflected on his behavior here...
But the other MULTITUDES of gross over exaggerated and nasty comments this person leaves CONSTANTLY on every video of gmm (and all at the expense of Link and his character...) is just so icky and over obsessive and weird.. Like I said above, there's having a healthy dislike of someone, but why tf would you continue to interact with their content and continue to leave disgusting hateful shit on their page(s) if you can't even supposedly stand them??? At all??? Genuinely concerning.
For ref. I hate Joe Rogan, but I'm not going to seek out his podcasts and watch every one and leave constant shit on his socials... because I can't stand him.... Why would I subject myself to that pos? If I can't fucking stand him??? Right? Doesn't make any goddamn sense...! And I see this disgusting cowardly persecution of Misha too.. and it's pathetic, idiotic, weirdo, stalker behavior. More than anything though, it's just.... So fucking SAD.
