I mentioned earlier in this post that I’m attempting to run 3mi every day for 30 days! The goal is to use it as a meditative and mental positivity experience to boost us through the holidays, which can be a stressful or trying time for many. I know I’m going to need it!
So you can set your own running goal! @ryeceps is doing 1mi / day for 30 days. You can do 2 or 10 or .5 mi. You can even do run/walk intervals - the point is the consistency. And start whenever!
I was going to start on Thursday but I went to the gym today and...just went for it.
It was my first workout back after a 16 day break due to my cold...so I was super slow, and walked about 5-8 minutes of it, but I’m super glad that I did it. It felt so good to be back at it!
I’m tracking the day I did it, whether it was inside or outside (In / Out), if I did a gym workout, if I stretched, if I ran the whole thing or did walk/run, and my time. :) Mostly to see if there are any patterns, and to keep me consistent.
Join the run challenge! The official hashtag from the organizer in Harlem is #HR3for30 and the Korra Fitness one is #KFRunfor30.
Can’t wait to see some awesome running selfies!
