Everything is just amazing! Awesome crowd! Deafening cheers! Bands everywhere! Friendly volunteers! Great weather (without the rain)! Wonderful boroughs (minus all the bridges especially Verrazano and Queensboro 😱)! That's #nycmarathon My race of a lifetime! Thank you @teamforkids for this opportunity. I had a great experience both raising funds and the entire race itself in NYC with TFK. Thanks to my donors. This is for you all guys! I thought of you those many occasions that I walked during the race. Haha I just couldn't disappoint you and the kids who were the reason I am run 26 miles today. To all who did send their encouragements and cheers, I appreciate them all. To my friends and mates (and colleagues) back in Singapore, Philippines and all over the world, a big hug, I just conquered NYC marathon!!! Thanks for all the last minute tips! I have totally forgotten about my pace plan as the crowd and the route is just so overly amazing. Well I came here for the experience and getting a 4:03 finish with no injury is just the icing. Lots of racing took place this weekend -Music run, Vietnam Mountain ultra, and Twilight ultra. Congratulations to all finishers. World Major Berlin Marathon also flagging off later! Exciting breaking sub 2hours for the elites! All the best to those who are taking part. Aside from the health benefits, running gets you to meet random people too and make new friends. Bumped into ironman @dadibobz today at Sengkang PCN and a few twilight ultra runners including @salihin_one40 and Philippines' ultra queen @silentwarriorrose. Nice to see you guys! 💪💪💪 swipe ➡️ to check my strava route and groove in to the music. 😊 I feel a little bit recovered on the pain on my lower right leg but there is still a little discomfort. Foam rolling and taping did help a lot. Woke up quite late so I started about 8-ish in the morning. Still cool but later on became too hot and humid around 10AM at Punggol resettlement. It was a not-so-long (supposedly 30km) and slow run, trying not to be slower than 6mins/km but you know, running solo can be mental so ended up doing 24km+ only. No matter what, it was still a good run.
