I just wanted to say that I'm so happy you're exploring the dynamic between Melinöe and Prometheus. Ever since I played Hades 2, I've seen a possibility between the two (that goes beyond enemies to lovers), considering the connection they had in the game's plot. So, when I found your Witchflame content here on Tumblr, I was so happy to see that more people are realizing the possibility of this couple. I've already devoured all your fanfics and I'm completely in love with the ones that explore the characters' development, analyzing the nuances of their relationship in a natural way that fits perfectly into the game's plot. Seriously, thank you for sharing the endless possibilities of Witchflame, because they are incredible.

Oh my god I forgot i received this! I'm so sorry ahhh!! I think it's because I saw this and knew I needed to like, fully digest it and formulate a good response because, yeah! Prometheus and Melinoe do have a very interesting dynamic, one that goes beyond the traditional "enemies to lovers" trope like you mentioned. They're very very very nuanced. Their dynamic is so unique and it's a shame many don't realize it. They are enemies but not really, and their conversations often end in agitation and frustration because they are so similar in their convictions. They're both fighting for things much larger than them, for the freedom of the gods, for the freedom of the mortals, and yet their loyalties create a conflict between them because they're both stubborn. Melinoe can't see Prometheus' point of view, and while he can possibly see hers, he cannot understand it in any way. And so they clash! Also like! Their arms! They both know what it means to count the cost if it means the end goal would be worth it. Anyway, yeah, thank you so so much! I'm so glad you enjoy my fics, I hope you like my art too! I try my best to make what I want to see and I'm so glad more and more writers are popping up for them! Thank you so much for your kind words! Sorry for such a late reply! thoughts on the reworked ending??

I think it makes the ending more tolerable, but I never enjoyed the ending to begin with. And so even though it's addressed all my issues with the initial 1.0 ending (issues that really shouldn't have been there to begin with), it just makes all the other problems all the more glaring. Like, for example, the gods have ZERO sway in how we deal with Chronos. He's been attacking Olympus since the war began, and yet they have no opinion on the matter. The reworked ending honestly just makes the surface feel more irrelevant.

How do you get inspo for your fics :0?

sleepy! hello! wow! how do i get inspiration for my fics? i'm not gonna lie, i just think a lot about the conversations prometheus and melinoe could have and the many way they could go. and then, once i have a loose premise, i think of a scenario in which it might be plausible. sometimes i do it in the reverse! scenario and then dialogue. like in my last one "quo vadis" in which aetos absolutely wrecks prometheus' liver, i only had the scene in mind and the dialogue came after. same thing for my most recent fic. i wanted to write melinoe whump but also have prometheus wash her hair. i had to merge the two, hehe. i'm also really inspired by music! i have a whole playlist for promeli and each song has it's own vibe... so i guess. i get inspiration by staring into the void and daydreaming. if i think hard enough, an idea will come to mind ehehe...

You get me so bad. His palette just works so much better if his complexion is darker. The colours look so so cohesive. His hair pops out so much more and his eyes are so vibrant with a darker skin tone! Truly a shame D:
