The russet owlmonster is Nestor Podgrin's most successful experiment, "a hybrid of the dreaded owlbear and the rust monster. It resembles the owlbear in stance and size but features the armored hide of the rust monster around its head, shoulders, and back. It also possesses stubbier versions of the antennae of a rust monster on its shoulders." Three of these can be found at Nestor's business, Monsters Made to Order. I am ashamed to admit that I just now found out about the Rust Monster from Dungeons & Dragons.
