Sacapuntas
I watched as more and more people entered and naturally came into place. It was like puzzle pieces coming together. While I was overwhelmed and awkward the others were happy and sociable.
I watched as they were all blossoming flowers and I felt like a dying flower. The communication and friendship was like watering a plant, I was deprived of it, begging and gasping for water as it was denied and denied repeatedly.
I watched as everybody continued to grow and thrive around me, I was invisible to the rest of the world. I wondered what I was missing, I wanted to know why they could talk and enjoy each other and I couldn’t.
They didn’t watch or care as I started to wilt and I became more engulfed by the thriving garden. I was just a shadow of the once magnificent flower that I used to be.
