Can I have more of the Professional Chat? Ya know, the 1 where he'd been rejected too many times & started acting all professional, but more so to protect himself than in retaliation to the rejection. It'd be interesting to see them trying to settle into this new dynamic & Chat being more himself around Mari, but also going to her to talk, mope & seek comfort. Like, Sad Kitty needs pats.

-Ladybug is very uncomfortable with this new arrangement. She actually starts realizing how much she relies on chat noir’s attitude to help lighten a situation and help her calm down. Chat noir’s cheerful grin now replaced with this professional poker face.

-The akumas were tough because they couldn’t sync up like they usually did. Chat noir was doing everything he is told, but it just doesn’t really work.

-Marinette is on her balcony one night down and Chat noir shows up.

-Marinette was expecting Professional pants chat noir, but here he acted like his old self.

-Marinette laughed at all his puns, she was really happy to see chat noir as he always was.

-”I am glad I can be myself around you princess.” Chat noir spoke to her.

-Marinette asked him why he couldn’t act like this around Ladybug.

-”She has rejected me a lot, it gets harder and harder to put a happy face when you know she will never feel the same way about you. So, why keep annoying her with feelings she doesn’t want?”

“She isn’t happy about the whole silent treatment right now, but I want her to be comfortable, to be happy. I don’t want her to feel an obligation that she needs to accept my feelings, but its hard keeping a happy face, this was just my way of coping.”

-Marinette petting Chat noir’s head. The two feeling calmer around one another. Marinette missed her kitty.

-”I wish I accepted your feelings Marinette, I think I would be much happier if I was your cat.” Chat noir spoke as he nuzzled her hand.

song of the day bc i remembered that this musical existed and then had a sobbing breakdown over an intense highschool relationship i had where we would literally just sing these beautiful ballads to each other and i truly miss feeling like i could do anything with this person…
