I don't understand the appeal of having Draco change his name from Malfoy to Black. When it comes to Pure Blood Supremacy, the Blacks are worse. Bellatrix was known as a devout Death Eater, Regulus died a Death Eater, Sirius died as someone who betrayed his friends and was sent to prison for killing muggles (we know this isn't true but the average wizard doesn't), Narcissa may not have been marked but she is loyal to her family's ideology. That's four out of the five children in family. Andromeda was disowned for marrying a muggleborn. The Blacks were a family of extremists and deviating from the family's beliefs got you disowned and burnt off the family tapestry.

What is it about the Blacks that should attract Draco to it long enough to discard his identity as a Malfoy? What principles, reputation or resources does the Blacks have over the Malfoys that would make identifying as a Black better for Draco, even after the war?

A pet peeve I have in this fandom is "Jason reads classic literature" and all the associating HCs.

Why just the classics? Jason canonically reads everything. I HC him as someone who reads whatever he can get his hands on, be it is children's book, finance report or science journal. He is well read.

He has been shown, right from his Robin days that his knowledge is broad, way beyond romantic literature. We saw Robin Jason talking about dinosaurs in the cave and we also saw him joking about being "stronger than the economy". That's a child that reads more than romance novels.

I doubt baby Jason had a choice of reading materials as a child. He would read whatever newspapers or educational journals his parents had around or whatever he could find in libraries or used book donations.

AU where Jason doesn't die. Instead, he looks at Bruce's methods and decides they're wrong, but he doesn't become Red Hood. He simply drops the cape, goes to college, and continues to be an upstanding citizen. He starts preaching against vigilantism. Every time Bruce takes in a new kid and introduces them to the cape crusade, it becomes one more thing for them to fight about.

I feel like we're losing Jayby as a fandom, so I'll do the honors: Pre Robin Jason is called Jayby. Baby Jason, who is not yet Robin is JAYBY. Robin Jason is referred to as JAYBIN.

Have you ever thought about Jason's resurrection? I think about it a lot.

Digging your way out of a coffin six feet under, armed with nothing but a belt buckle is no small task, without even adding the limited/no oxygen that would have been in the casket. And for all that Bruce is an ass, he definitely buried him in the best casket money could buy, so wood must have been very sturdy and meant to last for a very long time. I wonder how many times he died or even when the brain damage set in.

Think about it. Jason waking up, stuck in this tiny box with almost no wiggle room, yelling for Bruce. He realized no one was coming so he set out to dig himself out. How long did it take him to dig his way out? Hours? Days? Weeks? How many times did he die and come back again while digging?

At what point did it stop being a conscious effort to save himself and more a single minded attempt at survival? He has probably been digging so long it became muscle memory. His muscles adapted to digging so they could get out of it, and Bruce was the only word he knew at that point.

Hermione and Draco connect x years after the war and they get along like fire and oxygen. Due to some miscommunications, Harry thinks Hermione and Draco are dating and almost goes blind with jealousy
