It seemed that James was doing a lot of things that were downright insane as of late. Uprooting his life and moving to a new state, getting a new job, brazenly asking a girl to come by his house, going to Chicago with said girl...

"Sir?"

A blur of trees and buildings suddenly registered and James was pulled back into the present as the voice also rang in his head. Turning, he looked at the conductor asking for his ticket. "Sorry, right." He took it out of his messenger bag and handed it to him with an apologetic smile.

Realizing now that Safiye was sitting across from him, he beamed a little wider. "So... any other agenda other than Starbucks?" he asked. "But it definitely should be first. I haven't had coffee yet because I want that to be my first cup of the day."
