AFFRIM: I WILL SOON START ONE OF THE TEN BILLION BOOKS I HAVE BOUGHT TO SUPPORT MY CURRENT CHARACTER ARC.

A book that isn't poetry, that is. I love love love poetry but I must (re)learn that prose is not going to kill me. But what to put on the shortlist? Each time I begin, the list quickly beomces un-short...

I already have a couple of art/poetry non-fics part-read rn which is something of a surprise – not because of the content itself but because I have been finding it far easier to pick up academic non-fiction than (what one hopes will be) immersive prose. What's that about, exactly?

I continue to love Miquella because he represents the beautiful intersection of sincere compassion, hyper-insidious not-really-evil, being gay in a problematic way where your detractors in that regard are (as usual) worse, absolutely everything of the associative realm of the danger dyad and, of course, the unabashed use of Dominate Person.
