Synopsis: He’s in love with you, but everything’s just too much no matter how many breaks you take. On top of this romantic conundrum, you have more problems to deal with like work, academics, Greek life, self-preservation, and worst of all—Jujutsu Phi’s pick-me frat sweetheart that’s also your junior in Alpha Kaisen. How will you ever survive this godforsaken university life?
gotta love red flags 🤤🤤 I made the frat sweetheart an OC because idt any jjk woman deserves to be portrayed as such a shitty character LMAO THIS IS BARELY PROOFREAD BTW
Satoshi Gojo’s been head over heels for you ever since freshman year of college. Hell, the only reason he tried out for the team was because he found out from his frat brothers that you, the newest pledge of Alpha Kaisen (Jujutsu Phi’s sister house), was training under the senior student manager.
Now, you’re both seniors. He’s the Vice President of Jujutsu Phi and the Captain of the University’s Basketball Team, and you’re the President of Alpha Kaisen and the Senior Manager of the University’s Basketball team. To an outlier, if the two of you were to be in a relationship, it would be a match made in heaven. However, the people around you know better because on top of all that, you’re juggling making commissions and a small business; clearly, being with Satoshi would only serve to make your head explode—how it hasn’t happened yet, you don’t really know.
It’s only the start of the academic year, but there’s already so much work to be done! Like this evening—it’s the team’s first training session with the new recruits. In one hand you’re holding a clipboard with forms you need the coach to sign for the team’s medical for preliminary games. In the other is a pink black-ink ballpoint pen with cute stickers you’ve held onto since the third grade.
“Hey, pretty!” Satoshi greets, placing a chaste kiss on the apple of your cheek.
You blush softly but try to remain nonchalant. “Good evening, Satoshi.” You were absolutely too tired for his bullshit.
He hugs you from behind and whispers against your shoulder. “What? No bark? No bite? Have I worn you out already, Ms. Manager slash President?” He teases.
“That’s not—cough cough cough.” The white-haired nuisance’s eyebrows furrow. Were you exerting yourself too much again? Or was it him… is he too much for you? God, he hopes not. “Sorry… ‘m just not feeling too well, ‘Toshi…” You mumble, voice too vulnerable for the feisty girl he’s usually toe to toe with.
“Oh, babydoll…” He coos in the shell of your ear.
Slowly, he claims the clipboard and pen in your hands. “I’ll give this to coach, yeah? You take a rest on the bench. Maybe watching me play’ll cure whatever ails your pretty little body.” He winks. Even when he’s trying to be nice, he’s still a pompous insufferable ass.
“Don’t lose my pen!” You huff, and he only nods with a boyish grin written on his perfect lips.
You sit on the bench by the court, watching as Satoshi did your duties for you. Of course, he does this performatively because he looks to his side to see if you’re watching him hand the coach the unsigned documents.
He has that annoying glint in his eyes that says “Watch me!”, and you do nothing but facepalm. In a blink of an eye, he’s by your side, eagerly handing you your pen and clipboard. Right now, he’s less of a man and more of a puppy.
“Here you go, princess! Signed and ready!” He tells you happily like he’s expecting a treat.
Usually, you wouldn’t play into it, but he looks too cute to deny right now. “You’re such a good boy, ‘Toshi…” You reply as he crouches down, still not satisfied.
“Better than Satoru?” He asks, vying for more praise.
You kiss his cheek, “Better than any other man, baby.”
Satoshi then gets hit behind the head by none other than Coach Yaga! “Satoshi, it’s training time! No one’s giving you a scholarship to flirt with your girlfriend!”
Satoshi stands immediately. “Oh, sorry, coach. Yeah, just had too much fun talking to my sick girlfriend.” He cheerily responds.
Even as he’s being dragged by the ear to the center of the court, his smile never falters. Coach Yaga thinks he’s your boyfriend? Well, he can play that part, for sure!
The boys start their drills: warm up, shooting, dribbling, and passing. Some students watch to fawn for the Gojo twins, sitting by the bleachers while thirsting loudly.
“Who do you think is the most attractive one?” Someone asks their friend.
The girl shrugs. “Number one’s pretty hot, but I’d let number seven do me.” She laughs.
“Well, yeah! Haven’t you heard about how much of a playboy his brother is? I’m not trying to catch a disease!”
You try and stifle your laugh, but the girls notice the movement of your shoulders. Embarrassed, they opt to tone it down but ultimately failing miserably.
“Bitch, I told you to be more quiet!”
“No, you didn’t?? You literally started the conversation about fucking! I just asked who you think is attractive, dumbass!”
“Isn’t she his girlfriend though?” One of them says, pointing at you.
“No way, I heard Satoshi hooked up with a girl from Curse Kappa last Friday.”
“The fuck? He’s probably cheating on her! Poor girl.”
Yeah, Satoshi’s kind of an ass and a bit too morally ambiguous for many, but he’s definitely not a cheater. NOT that he’s your boyfriend though. He just isn’t human scum. That’s all there is to it—just you defending your friend in your mind.
During a quick water break, Satoshi decides to sit beside you instead of talking to the team. Like always, he grabs your pretty flask and drinks from the built-in straw. “Satoshi—I’m sick… you can’t just—”
“But I can, baby. I’m not weak, y’know? Don’t insult your dear prince!” He says dramatically.
Satoshi specifically plays it up for the gossiping girls on the bleachers. “I gotta do what I gotta do as your lovely boyfriend, no?”
“Oh, what’s that, Coach Yaga? I’m needed now? Okay!” He says, knowing damn well that Yaga would rather have his peace and quiet. Between having to watch girls asking Satoru for pictures, and Satoshi trying to get in your pants, Coach Yaga would rather choose to resign than subject himself to that torture.
Before leaving, he gives your lips a quick peck then winks at the girls behind you. What the hell was he even trying to prove?! You’re confused and so are they.
After their training, around 7PM, you were barely awake. You were hunched over, clutching Satoshi’s windbreaker as you fight off the sleepiness.
As your eyes were about to shut, you feel a large warm hand on your shoulder. Immediately you look up to see Satoshi, smiling down at you. “Rise and shine, baby girl…” He says softly. “I only brought my bike today, so um…”
“I don’t want to get on your stupid bike!” You scoff as if you’ll be able to go back to the sorority house on your own.
He raises his hands in mock surrender and smiles as he gets on one knee to reason with you. “I know, I know, but you’re clearly sick, pretty, and the sorority house is on the other side of campus.”
You huff, continuing on with your adamant refusal, even going as far as to cross your arms and turn away.
He sighs and holds your face in his palms to make you look at him. Still, your frown wouldn’t let up. “C’mon…” Again, he sighs. “Fine, I’ll carry you there. Fuckin’ brat.” He says with no real bite.
You smile as he fixes his jacket around your form. Behind him, Sukuna snickers, which makes Satoshi glare. “What?” His frat brother shrugs in faux innocence.
Satoshi rolls his eyes and grabs his duffel before picking you up. He carries you like a princess, making sure you’re comfortable in his arms. “You’re showing off…” You mumble playfully.
“Of course I am…” He whispers back.
Fuck, if only you took his advances seriously.
You nuzzle against his warmth, taking in the scent of his skin mixed with a manipulator’s perfume, think Dior Savauge, and dried sweat. You wonder how he doesn’t reek of BO.
“Sniffing me, pretty?” He teases. “That’s kinky.”
He laughs. “Well, if that’s what you want, princess.”
You huff and thrash in his grip, and he almost drops you. “You’d really rather fall?” He scoffs like he wants to reprimand you, but he can’t.
It takes him more or less than 20 minutes to reach the sorority house with a pouty you in his arms. Upon reaching the door, you’re greeted by a high Shoko.
“Wow, didn’t think I’d ever see this.” She taunts.
“Don’t get used to it.” You reply.
Satoshi shakes his head. “Nah, get used to it, Sho’.”
“You’re so annoying.” You huff.
“And so are you.” He chides.
Shoko rolls her bloodshot eyes and lets the two of you in. “Yeah, yeah, get a room. This is disgusting. Satomi would BARF.”
You push Satoshi’s face away, prompting him to put you down. “I hate you.”
“Okay.” He smirks, following you into the clean and organized front hall, where all the outside footwear is kept. The large man, again, gets on one knee to remove your shoes for you.
He massages your feet, warm hands pressing expertly against the heel and bridge. “You’re insufferable.” You tell him as if you don’t enjoy being spoiled. Maybe you act like this around him because he’s the only one who’s ever really put up with your “I know what I want” attitude.
“And you’re beautiful.” He says, and your cheeks flush. Damn him and his stupid words.
He takes your hand in his as you enter the common areas. As the two of you reach the den before the stairs, you’re greeted by a second-year everyone’s starting to dislike.
“Good evening, senpai!” She greets you while her gaze falls onto Satoshi.
You try to smile, you’re still their senior after all. The stories circulating about her are just RUMORS. There’s no proof yet, so why should that affect how you treat her? You may be having a gut feeling, but this is a young woman’s future at hand!
Before you could complete your sentence, she cuts you off. “You look kinda tired, senpai!” She says with artificial concern written on her face. “Baggy eyes, droopy skin, and—eugh!” She waves her hand near her nose. “That stench! I should help you out, senpai! Your dearest kouhai is here to help!” She grins, dramatizing her reaction.
Satoshi isn’t stupid. He sees right through her act; nevertheless, he lets you respond first.
“Thank you, Rin. But, I think I have more than enough help. No, ‘Toshi?” You slyly show off.
“More than enough, pretty girl.” He rasps as his grip on your hand tightens.
As quickly as the smirk on her face appeared, it falters. Rin’s jaw tightens. “Right… alright then. Have a good night, senpai.”
“To you as well, Rin.” You smile sweetly.
You’re all for professionalism, but you definitely don’t appreciate rude criticism. PLUS, you don’f even stink! She was just making things up. What a bitch.
Anyway, Satoshi takes you to your room. He puts his and your stuff on the floor, away from your bed. Afterwards, the two of you walk into your bathroom. He lifts you up and places you on the counter.
You wince a bit as the cold marble hits your skin. “What are you doing, ‘Toshi?” You ask as he draw you a warm bath. He dips his hand in the water, rawdogging the temperature.
“Helping you.” He says, standing and propping himself between your legs then unbuttoning your top. One by one, your outfit comes undone, but he’s totally respectful. He’s really trying his best to not talk about his raging boner!
As he’s about to unclasp your bra, you stop him. “Wait… it’s embarrassing…” You murmur.
“Embarrassing?” He raises an eyebrow, confused. “You’re acting like I haven’t seen you naked before.”
“This is different… it’s—intimate, not cool-off sex.”
“Oh? So before I was just your dildo, and now I’ve leveled up?” He mocks.
You turn beet red. “That’s not—what I mean… I…” You stop yourself from speaking.
He shakes his head. “I know what you mean, but there’s literally not an inch of you that I haven’t seen, pretty. Let me bathe you, c’mon? It’ll help you feel better.”
You pause, heart growing a few sizes. “Okay…” You finally whisper.
“Good.” Your bra comes undone.
Satoshi leans down, white tufts tickling your chin and neck as he places a soft chaste kiss above your heart. “That girl downstairs wouldn’t know how to properly take care of you.”
You laugh, wrapping your arms around his head, keeping his lips on your bare skin. “You’re acting like she was being genuine.”
“I’m not an idiot. I know she wasn’t. I was just stating a fact.” He huffed.
Satoshi looks up at you with hopeful eyes—eyes that wish you’d one day look at him with romantic sincerity.
“Didn’t know you were nerdy like that.” You laugh.
He rolls his eyes. “What? Y’fuckin’ want me to wear glasses now? Like Satoru? Is that your kink?”
“Ugh! Stop talking about kinks cough, asshole!” You huff.
“Fine, fetish then. Is that your fuckin’ fetish? You wanna see glasses fogging up while a hot nerd eats you out?”
You look down at him angrily, crossing your arms in such a way that it effectively hides your nipples. Like a juvenile boy, he pouts. “Noooo… don’t hide them, pretty.” He says while gently untangling your arms by the wrists.
“Weirdo.” You reply as you swat his hands away. “Whatever, just give me a bath.”
Even with your entitled reply, he obliges. Next thing you know, he’s cleaning your body with a loofah. “Not too scratchy?”
“No.” You say quietly, barely making eye contact.
“What happened to your bite from earlier? You went from tired to sleepy to feisty to bratty to shy all in a span of a few hours. How many personalities do you have, baby? Tell me the truth.” He chides.
“You’re so annoying.” You push yourself against the backrest of the tub, splashing a bit of water onto Satoshi.
“And you’re such a bitch.” He smirks before kissing your lips. You hold his dry face in your wet hands, making him laugh against your mouth.
The clash of teeth was confusing like your relationship with him has always been. You know he wants you. He knows you won’t leave. There’s nothing in between but the mountain of warnings, insecurities, and that pathetic feeling of not being ready. People say that you’ll be ready for the right person and that’s why you’re so afraid of risking everything for Satoshi. Because… why should it feel like a risk rather than fate?
After the heated moment, you pull away, looking into his eyes to search for a hint of something—anything… anything that tells you that this affects him too.
He chuckles. “What’s wrong, babydoll?”
You smile. “Nothing, absolutely nothing.”
The bath ends when Satoshi catches your eyes shutting every now and then. He’s totally patient—rinsing, drying, dressing you up, and preparing your bed even when you told him that you could manage.
“Satoshi.” You call out softly.
“Yes, baby?” He says as he lays you down, adjusting your comforter around your shoulders.
You wish his response didn’t make butterflies swarm in your stomach.
“Massage my back and cuddle me to sleep…” You turn your back against him. “BUT, change your clothes first. You have clean clothes in my closet.”
“Right.” He laughs. “No outside clothes.”
He scavenges through your closet, a square bin housing his clean washed garments. And like always, he scours through your laundry bin in search of a used pretty panty.
Impatient, you yell. “Satoshi!—cough.”
“Coming, babydoll!” He giggles like a schoolgirl while hurriedly changing his outfit.
Satoshi turns the lights off and opens your curtains, letting moonlight slip through the windows. He gets in bed with you, still with the biggest grin on his face.
He acts out your request while whispering annoying nothings into your ear.
“When you feel better, let’s fuck, okay?”
“You’re like the prettiest girl under seven feet that I know.”
“Do you think you’d ever let me hit the back door?”
“Since I have a prince albert, would you be open to matching me with nipple piercings?”
“Would you ever want to try BDSM? I feel like you’d be into that pain kink. Not too much though. Maybe like rope bunny shit?”
“Y’know, I think your armpits are really cute. The extra skin is just adorable.”
“Would you still do me if I was a cockroach?”
“Better yet, if I was just a cock? Like a magical one.”
Then, a bit of vulnerability slips.
“You haven’t slept with anyone else but me, right, pretty?”
“It’s scary…” You say meekly.
“Scary…? Am I not scary?”
“Not to you…” He whispers, still rubbing your shoulder blades. “Go to sleep, pretty. Before I ask you stupider questions.”
You giggle softly. “Good night, ‘Toshi…”
He reciprocates your laugh. “Good night, baby…” He says before kissing the back of your neck.
The next day, you wake up to worst fever imaginable. Your head’s pounding, the room’s spinning, the light’s too bright, and everything is way too loud! Feeling wildly overstimulated, you retreat into Satoshi’s arms, sobbing against his softly snoring chest.
“‘Toshi…” You squeak, trying to hold in a fit of coughs while hoping he wakes up.
Your cold hands slip under his hoodie, looking for warmth. Instead, he jolts awake. He falls onto the carpeted floor, and you just start crying your eyes out.
“‘m so sorry… ‘Toshiiii…” You whine, watching him look up at you with utter confusion.
“You’re such a crybaby.” He huffs, climbing onto the bed to lull you to sleep.
He cradles you in his arms, hiding your face soft kisses everywhere to hopefully soothe your pain. Satoshi was still half asleep, so he barely understands what he’s doing. You nuzzle into his body, hoping that the fever will pass. Never in your life have you experienced something this with a boy. You didn’t think it’d happen—especially not with a boy you have romantic interest in.
When your breathing stills, Satoshi sobers up. He’s now hyperaware of every little thing in your room: the blinding sunlight, the noisy fan, and your unwavering refusal do get off of his lap. God, he could just eat you right up.
Gently, he sets you down on your bed. He exits your room and knocks on Shoko’s door. When she doesn’t respond easily, he huffs and barges in.
“If you don’t wake the fuck up, I swear to god!”
“What?!” Shoko yells, throwing a pillow at Satoshi.
He groans and explains that you’re sick. The poor boy just wants to help you, but he’s kind of an inexperienced loser. He’s only ever had to take care of himself and Satoru.
Shoko scowls as she throws on a hoodie. “You owe me, Satoshi.”
He smiles, relieved. “Yes, thank you! I’ll be back in a jiff.”
She rolls her eyes before heading to your room. “Get her something warm—soupy. Also fix up some ginger tea, she has a whole stash of them for when someone’s sick in the house.”
The eager boy nods. “Thanks for telling me!” He says.
He heads downstairs and straight to the kitchen he goes.
There, he’s met with Rin, who’s downing a shot of espresso with a full face of makeup on at 6AM on a Friday. It’s such a shame really, how she spent an hour before this, trying to make herself look pretty when her heart’s just never in the right place. You feel nothing for her but pity.
“Good morning, Satoshi-kun!” She greets cheerily.
It’s moments like these that make you forget how willing she is to tear another person apart for her personal gain.
His face hardens and his body stiffens as he passes by the smaller girl. “Good morning.” He deadpans while rummaging through a woven vegetable basket to look for fresh ginger.
“Looking for this?” Rin reaches in and hands him a knob of ginger.
“Yeah, thanks.” He grabs the thumb and prepares it, slicing thin circles to leave in hot water. Satoshi doesn’t even glance her way. He isn’t curious—he doesn’t care. He’s here to take care of you, not to mingle with some girl people would assume is his type.
She was starting to get frustrated, so she moves closer, brushing her fingers against his as she reaches for something on the high shelf.
He takes a step to the side. “Be careful, I’m using a knife.”
She pouts. “But I need to reach that!” Rin points towards the uncooked pasta.
“The uncooked pasta? You haven’t even boiled any water yet.” He points out, more than sure that this was a ploy.
“Well, you’ll be boiling water for the ginger, wouldn’t you?”
“Alright.” He says, reaching above her head to grab the box.
Then, he gets back to cutting.
The fuck? He was supposed to call her cute or small or both! Not ignore her like all she spewed was bullshit! “Say, Satoshi-kun, maybe you’d like to have breakfast with me?”
He doesn’t even think for a second before words of rejection breeze past his lips. “No, thank you. I’m going to cook.” Three portions of ginger tea, chicken noddle soup with the dino nuggets Shoko insists you like are prepared by Satoshi.
After preparing the warm food and drinks, he fixes it all on one tray and walks carefully up the stairs with the items in hand. He used his foot to knock on the door and calls out for Shoko.
She rushes to the door, opening it with a tired smile on her face. “Hey, look! Satoshi’s here, babe!” She announces then looks back at Satoru. “She won’t stop sobbing, girl. I dunno what to do.”
Satoshi looks his friend up and down, laughing at her disheveled appearance and tearstained shirt. Shoko glares at the tall man. “I’d give you a piece of my mind right now if you weren’t holding food and drinks.”
“Oh yeah? Then do it anyways, if you’re really that strong.”
“Bitch??” Shoko huffs and takes her plate of nuggets to feast on.
Satoshi only laughs as he makes his way to your bedside. He takes your swivel chair and a small coffee table to the side so he could rest the tray then feed you.
He hovers over you. “Why’re you crying, pretty?” He asks gently as his warm arms start to wrap around you.
“Everything hurts n cough… I don’t have the energy to hold in my tears right now…” You pout while uncontrollably crying. It’s frustrating, really. You don’t mean to look so childish, but you really can’t help the tears from stress and anxiety.
He laughs, not mocking, in adoration. “You’re so cute.”
“Satoshi!” You whine. “It’s not funny. My head is pounding!!!” You say, trying to wipe your tears with your palms.
He holds you close, not knowing how else to stop the waterworks. But after a few minutes, it works. “Shit, that actually worked?!”
“You’re an idiot.” You huff.
“Agreed.” Shoko interjects with a happy smile on her lips as she eats the food Satoshi made.
Ever since that day, Satoshi’s been much more clingy. He’s always hovering and always looking. That’s great and all, but your stress hasn’t stopped one bit. If anything, it only increased tenfold. You weren’t one to spiral, but fuck! Everyone’s being such a dumb fucking slut right now, always running around with their lover to fuck instead of doing their jobs right!!
One primary example of this was Rin, who was supposed to be heading the fundraiser for Alpha Kaisen and Jujutsu Phi next week since she was an officer-in-training. Yuki caught her shoving her hands inside Naoya Zenin’s pants in the copy room, when she was supposed to be printing the fucking flyers!
Other examples include having a misogynistic asshole for a professor. He straight up told you to just quit your course. You’ve never transferred classes so quickly. At this point, you don’t care if that gave him an ego boost. Now, you have an impossibly sweet teacher, who is the highlight of your shitty month.
You’re literally only a fucking month into the first semester of fourth year. A MONTH.
It’s not only external situations, but your own mental state as well. There was nothing else to do but ride it out until it leaves. People rely on you to deliver, and you can’t just leave without making sure that they’ll be okay the next day.
There was no escape from the constant threat of boiling over. Your life is a living hell, and you’re the prisoner. No matter how hard you tried, you always keep on failing AND falling. What the fuck were you supposed to do now?
Today was another day of training for the team—every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday! Three weeks from now is the first round of preliminaries then an exhibition game the week after that.
As usual, the twins were showing off.
“Satoru, pass!” The older twin yells.
The two end up on opposite ends of the width of the court and run in an X-like pattern. “Cross!” Satoru yells before passing right at the three-point arc.
Like a team of yes-men, the freshmen cheer for the showy twins. “Woooooow!”
Immediately, Satoshi runs to you with the biggest grin on his face. “Hey, Ms. Manager! Did ya see that? I did so well, no?”
You weren’t paying attention to what he was saying, you were too caught up in finishing up the last of their paperwork for their medical records submission. “I’m busy.”
He only smiles awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. “Oh, right! Sorry…”
“Fumbled already?” Sukuna teases, rubbing Satoshi’s head as he got back to their side of the bench.
“She’s just busy, asshole.”
“Awww, no need to get so bitchy.”
Satoshi glares at Sukuna. Man, this guy was such a handful. Not even you could deal with Sukuna most of the time. Thank whatever gods are up above that he’s mostly respectful of you (maybe because he’s always had a HUGE crush on Satomi or Satoru… you can’t really tell).
You hand Coach Yaga all the documents necessary for the upcoming events with a tired smile on your face. “Here you go, coach! Fresh and ready!”
His eyes catch a glimpse of the bags under your eyes. Your concealer was fighting tooth and nail to hide the dark circles. “You okay, kid?” He says with concern. “Is it the guys? Are they bothering you? We have a zero tolerance policy, you know I can kick them off the team as easy as that.” Coach Yaga snaps his fingers.
“It’s not them at all, Coach…” You start shyly, looking away in embarrassment. “I’m overwhelmed. I know I chose all this, but everyone else is serving to make my life harder, and I just need to catch a break.” You pause for a moment then stare at the older gentleman. “I’m sorry, coach! I didn’t mean to spring it onto you like that!”
He laughs as the boys continue with their training. “No worries kid, if you ever need a break, all you have to do is hand in a notice, y’know? Satoshi and the guys can manage 2 weeks without their manager. Plus, if you start by this week or the next, you’d still be back in time for prelims.”
“Maybe I’ll take you up on that, Coach Yaga. Thank you.”
On the way home, while walking, Satoshi asks. “Hey, what were you talking about with Coach earlier?”
With your hands in your pockets, barely giving him any mind, you respond. “Nothing important.” Plain and bland.
“Really? You seemed like you had a lot to say.”
“So it is important.” He adds almost immediately.
You sigh and stop walking. “Can’t we leave it at nothing, Satoshi?”
He scowls and turns away, continuing to walk without you. “Fine, sorry.”
You stay silent. He sighs and holds your bag a little tighter, feeling like he’s losing you to an imaginary battle. Too many things are happening tonight, and you’re not sure if Satoshi’s presence is helping.
This time, he stops walking and faces you. “Did I do something wrong?”
Your eyebrows furrow as you look up at him, about to reach out. “No, baby, you didn’t—”
“Then why the hell are you acting like this?!” He raises his voice at you for the first time.
You’ve never seen such anger from him being radiated towards you. But it was only a flicker; now, there’s a glint of hurt. “Why do you feel the need to shut me out, when I’ve been trying every step of the way?!”
You flinch, but he doesn’t back down.
“Fuck, don’t just look at me like that. Tell me!” He says your name like it stabs at him every time he does.
Then, the pot finally blows. “Because I’m not ready!” You pause and try to gauge his reaction, holding in tears that you aren’t worthy of showing. “There’s so much going on right now, and I’m sorry that I don’t feel compelled to tell you everything, but I just can’t! I know it’s frustrating. It’s fucking frustrating for me too, but there is so much more in my life than—”
“Than what?” He says, somber.
For a moment, he’s quiet. He seems too stunned to actually say anything he’s processed properly. “So why the hell did you kiss me? Why do you call me baby? Why the fuck did you make me feel like you love me?!” He sobs, tears actually falling out of pretty baby blues.
“Because I do love you…” You confess, voice breaking. “I fucking love you, Satoshi! But I just—I’m not ready to be in love, so fuck—leave me alone! Just… leave me be…” Each word feels like a bullet through his heart.
Despite your desperate pleas, he wraps his arms around you, almost begging you to let him stay. Unfortunately for him, you push him away. “Please don’t make this harder than it already is, Satoshi.”
“Do you really mean it…?”
It feels easier to leave it off as this.
“I quit everything you didn’t like over the summer: the girls, smoking blunt, and hardcore drinking… fuck, I swear I’m a better man than I was when we first met.”
“Satoshi…” You shake your head, trying to wake up for this stupid fucking nightmare. Since when was the Satoshi Gojo the man you need?! “Give me a week, please?”
You compromise. “Just a week to think…” You raise your hands to wipe his tears with the back of your palms. “Can you do that for me, baby?”
He pushes your hands away by the wrists. “Don’t fuckin’ act like you care about me.”
“But I do, ‘Toshi… I care so much.”
“Fuck, you’re such a pretty liar.” He sobs into his hands, trying to block his view of your face. You’ve never seen a man so openly vulnerable. Moreover, you would have never expected it to be Satoshi.
He puts a palm over your eyes, his tears dampening your lashes. Then, he places a kiss over the skin of his hand. “A week then, pretty.” He sigh, holding back tears.
You nod, and he hands you your bag with a shaky grip.
“A week…” He mumbles under his breath.
Not to be dramatic or anything, but the seven days that followed that situation was the worst week of his life. In the frat house, he sits on the couch, mumbling and whining about you. Needless to say there hasn’t been a party thrown since. Everyone had to settle for a party at Curse Kappa or Clan Zeta Pi.
On the first day, Choso asks Satoru, who was making food for his brother to finally consume. “What’s wrong with him today?”
“Fumbled the bag.” Was all Satoru said.
Then, Satoshi interjected. “Yes, seriously!” He groaned. “She hates me, Choso!”
“Don’t start!!” The other guys yelled.
“I didn’t do shit!” Satoshi bursted into tears. “She said it with her pretty voice! Even called me baby… fuck.”
“Oh my god, man. Don’t be such a fucking pussy.” Sukuna facepalmed. “Find someone else. She’s not the only girl in the world, dude.”
“Yeah, but she’s the only girl I want in this godforsaken world.”
“You’re hogging all the cushion space, dumbass!” Toji scoffed at his crying friend. “Look.” Toji sighs as Sukuna sits him up.
“Just forget about her, Satoshi. You can have any girl you want. If she doesn’t want you, then leave. You’re beating yourself up over a losing game.” Toji actually had a somewhat okay insight. “I’m not saying she’s a bitch, but you’re making yourself look like a fool, chasing after someone who begged you to leave.”
If you heard Toji’s words, your mind would incline you to agree. Sure, your heart would hurt, but he’s right. You’ve pushed Satoshi away despite his efforts. And clearly, you’re not ready to be in a relationship. So why the hell should Satoshi choose you?
By the seventh day, everyone got used to Satoshi’s new normal. He was absolutely wrecked, especially after you handed in a notice for a two-week leave of absence to the coach.
He checks his messages every now and then, nothing from you. He doesn’t even bother to check then tens of other messages. You’re all he’s waiting for. And as midnight nears, he fears that he’s actually lost you.
Toji watches his friend from afar. He’s not touchy-feely, but he gets the feeling. So, he grabs the phone from Satoshi’s hands and tuts. “Y’know what, we’re throwing a party this Friday. Y’need to mingle, dude.”
“Dumbass, you need to have fun, get drunk, and get down. Forget your ex with meaningless sex.”
Friday is three days from now. He wonders if you’ll acknowledge him by then. He hopes you do. Unfortunately for him, you don’t.
Fast forward to that party, Satoshi’s finally having the time of his life—if you could even call it that.
As expected you’re not there. You’ve been missing Satoshi like crazy, but everything also felt like a weight lifted off of your back. He should be bouncing back now, right? Satoshi’s got many friends, a bigger life outside of the two of you. He’ll be fine… you’ll both be fine. It kills you to think about what his life would be like without you, but you just want to be happy for him. He’s a good guy underneath that party playboy facade.
“Hey, what’re you thinking of, Satoshi-kun?” Rin nudges Satoshi on the couch. She’s wearing a cute top and a miniskirt, almost seeming too innocent to be in a party like this.
Satoshi smiles, smoking a cigarette—a habit he told you he quit. With a lazy gaze, he looks at Rin. “Nothing, absolutely nothing.” He says before extinguishing the flame on the ashtray.
She moves closer to him, making sure their shoulders touch just right. “Where’s Y/N-senpai? Shouldn’t she be at her own boyfriend’s party?”
“She’s not my girlfriend.” He says, voice cool.
Rin acts coy, playful, a little bit stupid. “Oh? So, Satoshi Gojo… Mr. Vice President, is up for grabs?”
He leans back, opening himself up for the possibility. “Yeah, ‘guess so.”
She climbs onto his lap and starts grinding. He holds her hips to keep her still, kind of annoyed at the overt eagerness. “Do what I tell you to.” He says.
Toji and Sukuna wink at each other, happy that their friend finally has someone to move on with. Just a couple of straight guys, helping each other bang it out!
For the first time since you, he’s rough, voice gravelly as if every word he says carries a sense of longing for you—and only you. She feels it too. The way Satoshi’s looking her with a head full of fantasies. But she doesn’t care, she has a plan.
As he takes her to his room, she secretly taps her friend’s shoulder. That friend takes a scandalous picture of Rin and Satoshi making their way to his bedroom. Soon, this photo would be all over the university: his hand on her waist as he guides her up the stairs; however, there’s a clear space between the two, and it’s more than obvious that it’s Satoshi who keeps the invisible barrier present.
In his room, photos of you, trinkets you made him, and your clothes were littered everywhere. It annoys Rin to be reminded of you in every corner of Satoshi’s room, but he doesn’t care. He just needs a quick fuck. Satoshi only hides your nude photos but doesn’t bother with the rest.
There’s nothing much to dwell on about that night. Satoshi hated it. Sex with anyone else doesn’t feel half as good as the feeling he gets when he’s with you.
Honestly though, what he hates more is the fact that you’re on leave. The team misses you. He misses you. At this point, he just tries to forget about it and tries to carry on with his day-to-day. You’re just a girl… (his girl).
Sometimes, he can still hear his name on your pretty lips like phantom whispers. Being without you is driving him insane. “I’m going fucking crazy, Satoru.”
“Yeah, I know you are.” His twin responds, listening to his brother rant for the nth time. “You know that someone posted a pic of you and her on the freedom wall, right?”
“It’s like the two of you going up the stairs.” Satoru says, trying to find the photo.
When he shows his brother, Satoshi becomes a hundred times more sulky. “What if she saw that, god fucking damn!!?” He huffs after seeing the comment Rin made on the post: “small fucking dick btw.”
“She probably did.” Satoru shrugs.
Satoshi glares. “Not helping, dumbass.”
“It’s the truth. Shoko saw it, Yuki saw it. Hell, even Satomi-e saw! Your girl knows that you’re a manslut, ‘Toshi.”
“She isn’t even my girl.”
Back at the sorority house, you’re no better. Pictures of Satoru and Rin are everywhere. The photos were first posted on the university’s freedom wall page. SO MANY mutuals sent you that photo with the caption, “vp x frat sweetheart” Fucking annoying. Even after that though, you maintained a professional put in front of the unruly second-year, never once making a scene out starting a riot.
You and your close friends are in your room, debriefing the entire situation. “I always knew she was a bitch.” Shoko was the first to speak.
“It was fair game… that alone doesn’t make her a bitch.” You say.
“Fair game, shmair game! What happened to the principle of things?” Yuki interjects.
You raise an eyebrow while drinking from the bottle being passed around. “What principle?”
“The principle of being honest.” Satomi finally adds to the conversation.
Yuki nods, snatching the bottle from Satomi to take a large swig.
“What? What do you mean by that?” You ask.
The white-haired girl sighs. “I meant, Satoshi’s an honest guy. If he told you he’d wait a week, then he would. Seeing as you didn’t do anything after a week, I assume that he took it as a sign.”
“Well, yeah. I know that. On Satoshi’s end it’s somewhat fine. I have no right to feel so betrayed. With Rin, however… I don’t like her attitude. If she wants to sleep with Satoshi, be my fucking guest, but she’s been acting like a real pick-me since the year started.” You huff. “She’s always ‘calling me out’ in front of the twins or any guy from Jujutsu Phi. She’s desperate for their validation. I’m really surprised that she was voted as the frat sweetheart.”
Satomi shrugs. “I heard it’s just ‘cause she’s willing to do so much for the frat even if it gets to an annoying degree. ‘Nothing’ is worse than too much! Especially since everyone there is such a manwhore. No one was lining up to be their dog.”
“But anyways. It’s me. It’s my fault. Let’s leave it at that. I like Satoshi, but I just can’t make myself ready for him. Even if I hate that he slept with the girl he knows talk shit about me…”
“An ugly one at that!” Yuki says, which earns her an elbow from Shoko.
You laugh at your friends’ childish behavior.
“But seriously though, baby. Are you okay?” Satomi questions, voice full of concern. “I may be his sister, but I’ll give him a good beating for ya.”
“I’m okay, really. Satoshi’s great… he’s my type and all, but it’s really hard for me to feel secure with a guy like him… It’s really not his fault, but I don’t have the mental capacity to really deal with that kind of bullshit. I just want to graduate.”
“Yeah, security.” You grab the glass bottle and down the rest of the burning liquid. “He’s just… him, and I know I’m me.” You laugh at the boastful words. “But I just don’t have the fucking energy to be me. I know it sounds fucking stupid, but it’s all just too much, and I shouldn’t have flirted back… fuck. I’m so sorry, ‘Toshi…” You laugh, hiding behind your palms.
“Welp, you’re a sad-drunk now.” Shoko sighs playfully as the girls tuck you into bed.
“Ya got a tampon in you? Pad in your panty?” Yuki asks and you shake your head.
“You need to sleep that shit out, babe.” Satomi says.
“I miss Satoshi…” You mumble, eyes looking like voids.
Satomi kisses your forehead gently while caressing your hair. “I know you do, baby…”
“But I need to be better first…” You mumble. “I can’t drag him down with me.” You sigh.
“Oh baby…” Satomi cuddles you to sleep even if she knows that you’d probably throw up on her in the middle of the night.
“Y’know, I really think ya just need some dick, babe.” Yuki sighs. “You’re not ready for a man, but I’m sure the stress would leave if you just cum, no?”
“But um…” Your cheeks turn pink. “I’ve never slept with anyone besides Satoshi…”
“WHAT?” The room erupts in orchestrated confusion.
“Oh my god…” Satomi laughs. “Is that why he kept getting tested?? I thought he was just on a health kick or like sleeping with too many different girls finally caught up to him.”
“It was… um… when we were like late into freshman year, I told him I wouldn’t sleep with him unless he got a test for all known STDs. I really meant it as a joke, as if I’d sleep with Satoshi. But then… he actually did it, and I needed a release.”
“Wow, and here I thought you had some game, pretty.” Satomi teases.
“I do!” You huff. “Just don’t wanna sleep with random guys… I miss Satoshi…”
You were supposed to come back to managing the basketball team in a week, yet you’re still a mess. If Satoshi saw you again or spoke to you again, would he hate you?
In the week you have left, you make it your life’s mission to better yourself. It’s like something in your had snapped, and it mostly just came from a feeling of no longer wanting to be sad. Sure, it’s not the healthiest way to deal with a spiral, but you have no time for slow remedies. Everyone’s counting on you to better; and honestly, you’re counting on yourself too.
You’re in your favorite bakery, warm and splashed with the fragrance of butter, when Satoshi spots you through the window while walking Darl, his darling dog daughter! He lifts her up and whispers in her ear. “Run into her arms for me, baby girl. Give us a real meet cute (again).” As if Darl really does understand, she nods and licks Satoshi’s neck. “Good girl!” He praises then lets her down gently.
Almost immediately, Darl barks and runs to your legs, pawing softly at your bare skin. You jolt lightly then look down. “Darl, baby!” You lift her up into your arms and kiss the top of her little head. “Oh, you’re so cute…” You mumble against her fur that smells too much like the boy you miss.
Less than a minute later, Satoshi’s barging in the small shop like he’s about to star in a romcom. “Darlinggg!” He says dramatically, trying to get your attention.
“Satoshi—” You squeak, and your grip on Darl tightens instinctively.
He smiles, just glad that you aren’t ignoring him. “Good morning, princess.”
Your cheeks become dusted with a light shade of pink right away. “Good… Good morning, Satoshi—” You look down, a bit confused… and a bit unsure.
“Excuse me, Miss, it’s your turn.” The customer before you taps your back as they leave the line.
“Oh, right… sorry.” You say, turning to place your order. Satoshi makes his way beside you, crowding your space just like before, handing his card to the cashier before you could even think of paying for your treat.
“Pick a beverage, pretty. It’s on me.”
You order your favorite drink that pairs well with the pastry. “Thank you, Satoshi.” You whisper as he holds the tray in his hands while you’re still carrying Darl.
The two of you walk over to a more secluded area in the humble bakery. “Can we talk?” He asks gently, sitting in front of you.
You nod. He places your food and drink in front of you and watches you eat for a minute before speaking.
He takes in a sharp breath. “I missed you.”
He laughs. “Is that even really a question?”
You look into his cerulean eyes, and he stares into your irises. He could drown in you.
He holds his hand out for you to take, and you watch. “At least let me be around you… let me be yours.”
“Satoshi…” You whine, eyebrows furrowing as you bat your lashes. He’d rip his own off just so he wouldn’t be reminded of your constant rejection.
“Don’t.” He huffs, reaching out for your hand instead of waiting for your initiative. “Just let me be yours, please. Is it Rin? ‘Cause I can get her fucking expelled for you.”
You sigh. “No, it’s not, what?? Why do you wish to hurt yourself, Satoshi?”
“You already hurt me. Now, all I wish is for you to stay, babydoll.” He combs his hair back with his fingers in frustration. “Just fuckin’ tell me what I need to do…”
“C’mon, baby, please.” He begs, grasping your hand tighter than he should. “Darl would be so glad to have her momma back, no, baby?” Darl barks, contributing to the conversation.
“You can’t fix me, Satoshi.”
“I don’t need to fix what isn’t broken.”
“Satoshi, trust me. I’m just not the girl.” You sigh. “I don’t think I ever will be.”
“That’s bullshit!” He yells, which startles you and Darl. “Just fucking let me be around you. Stop avoiding me, stop ignoring me, stop treating me like I’m someone you’ve never met! God fucking damn!” He snaps, saying your name like a twisted curse he can never get rid of.
“I’m sorry—” Your breath hitches.
“Yeah, you’ve mentioned that. But fuck. I don’t need an apology, I need you.” He looks like he was about to cry again. Has he always been a crybaby? “Please let me have you.”
Then, there’s an absence of the fear you felt for your own feelings. You think for a second too long. Are you actually willing to give up your youth with Satoru for a few minutes of peace that feels so lonely?
You’ve made dozens of hard decisions before, but for Satoshi, your heart was weak. “Okay, baby…” You whisper, giving the apple of his cheek a soft kiss.
Maybe if the victim insists… no? You’ll string him on for as far as he’ll allow you to pull. It’s his choice after all.
After that very weekend, you’re back as the Student Manager of the Snow Leopards. The team’s more than glad to have you back, and they were keen on showing it. You’re 99.9% sure that Coach Yaga put them up to it because even Ryomen Sukuna got you a bag of your favorite sweet treat.
He pulls you aside when everyone’s done giving you a gift. “Hey, I just wanted to say I’m sorry.”
“Sorry for what?” You laugh, finding the situation quite ironic. The big scary Sukuna looks so shy in front of you, who barely stands above his shoulders.
“For encouraging the whole Rin thing.”
You pause. “Oh… I—I didn’t even know you had something to do with that…”
“I mean—I didn’t but…” He sighs. “I encouraged Satoshi to have meaningless sex, and shit, I didn’t think it’d hurt you.”
He looks sincere like someone’s talked some sense into him. “Oh… Satomi told you, huh?”
“Yeah, she did. Look, Satoshi really does like you, but he’s an idiot, and his friends, me included, are idiotic assholes.” He finally looks into your eyes. “I know we can’t change shit, but I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry, and so is Toji and everyone else.”
You smile sweetly and stand on your tiptoes to place a chaste kiss on his cheek. “Thank you, Ryo’. You’re forgiven.”
The large man smiles and nods in acknowledgment. “You’re such an angel, doll.”
Well, you guess you can’t be too mad at Satoshi, no?
When you showed up to the preliminary game in a jersey with Satoshi’s number, the team knows this is about to be a great game. Their captain’s in a good mood and so are they!
A few shots were missed, but it was no biggie. The team was able to win by a landslide, mopping the floor with the Heian Beasts. On top of that, the twins’ chemistry tonight was on fire! Twin telepathy or coincidence? No one really knows.
Congratulations were said, pictures were taken, and autographs were written. Now, it was time to celebrate.
So here you are at yet another party being thrown by Jujutsu Phi. The twins are on either side of you on the large couch with Satoshi’s arm wrapped securely around your waist. He grabs a cigarette from the box that’s carelessly lying on the coffee table.
“Picked it back up real quick, when we stopped talking.” He deadpans, lighting the butt with his brother’s lighter.
He breathes out, feeling lighter and heavier all at the same time. “Coach’s going to kick you out if he finds out, Satoshi…” You mumble.
“Yeah? Why don’t you tattle?” He challenges. You hate him when he’s high.
Satoru’s barely keeping himself up, so he leans his head on your shoulder. Satoshi’s immediately peeved by his twin’s actions. He pushes his head away with an angry huff. “Get your own girl, Satoru!”
You hold Satoshi’s wrist, stopping him from making his brother’s head fall from your shoulder. However, your efforts are rendered moot when Satoru ungracefully settles on your lap.
“But, pretty, Satoshi’s being an asshole!” He pouts.
“No he’s not, baby. You are.”
“I don’t understand why you’re letting him lay on you.”
You sigh. “Tell you what, ‘Toshi. Help me get Satoru up to his room, and I’ll kiss it better.” You say with a sultry tone, eyes shifting to the growing tent in his pants.
“Yes, baby. BUT you also have to ditch the cigarette.”
Before he could finish his reasoning, you shrug and turn your attention to his brother, playing with drunk and high mind.
“Wait, wait—sorry… okay.” He says, immediately extinguishing the flame on an ashtray.
You turn to him and smile. “Good boy, ‘Toshi.”
He fireman-carries his brother up to his room while you walk beside the duo. Satoshi gently tucks his brother into bed, and you set his glasses down on the nightstand. You lean down and kiss his forehead. “Sweet dreams, Satoru…” You whisper, rubbing his head before leaving with Satoshi.
Before you could even lock the door to the older brother’s room, he hug you tightly from behind. “Satoshi!” You whine.
“Are you going to leave me because I smoked?”
You pause. No, you wouldn’t leave him, but the question was unexpected. Does he want a real answer or the fairytale you both wish to live?
“No, I won’t. But I don’t like that you’re back to your vices. Especially after just winning past your first opponent of the season. These are just local teams Satoshi. Next month’ll be a lot more challenging, not to mention the exhibition games in the next few weeks. You’re throwing your life away for a few minutes of ecstasy.”
His expression hardens. “Well, that isn’t what I asked you, no? Also, didn’t you say you were going to help me with my problem?” He says, sitting on the edge of his bed, his hands finding their way behind his body to open himself up to you. The white-haired idiot spreads his legs wide, ready to have you kneel in between.
“So? Does that mean you won’t suck my dick?”
You palm at his bulge, looking him directly in the eyes.
“You act so innocent, and yet here you are, pawing at a guys cock through his clothes. You’re nasty.” He smirks.
“That’s a lot of big talk for a whiner, y’know? I bet all your little toys would be glad to know that their dom daddy is actually a sub loser.”
He rolls his eyes but whines as you unzip his trousers. Then, you pull his boxers down to reveal his aching shaft. “Still shocked every time, huh?” He laughs at the face you make.
First, you caress his piercing, the touch sending a jolt of pleasure through his body. The cold metal on your finger felt like an invitation.
Your fingers wrap around the body and give his dick a few pumps. Afterwards, Satoshi holds your hand in his. “Don’t move your hand dry, babydoll. You know better.” He rasps, facing your palm against his mouth.
He spits on your open hand then guides your fingers back to loop around his bricked manhood.
You start kissing his tip and giving the slit a few kitten licks. Despite your angelic and pure facade, you played with dick like a pro.
Soon, the mushroom head of his shaft is in your mouth, your tongue swirling around the protruding veins that went down to the base. You start to bob your head up and down, taking all of him in and out of your throat over and over.
His hands fly to your roots as he’s unable to stop the whimpers that escape his lips. “Fuck—hahngh! You’re such a fucking whore.”
He doesn’t push your head down, but he tugs, wanting you to go deeper. “More… more!” He whines. “Fuck yes, mommy.”
You pick up the pace until he’s a blubbering mess with saliva dripping past the side of his chin. You feel his balls clench, and you stop everything abruptly. No, warning, no sign, no nothing.
“What the fuck?!” He’s sitting there, not being able to ride his own high. Even if he pumped his cock now, he’d be too frustrated to actually spurt out white ropes of your favorite drink!
You smile at him. “Your fault, baby. I said I’d kiss it better, and I did. Didn’t you feel good?”
“Then that’s all that matters!” You cut him off.
Not even a second later, you hear a furious booming voice from the first floor. “Where the hell is Satoshi Gojo?” It was Coach Yaga. You’ve never seen total fear, panic, and frustration cross a person’s face so quickly and perfectly until tonight.
On your face, a pretty smirk was still written. Satoshi semi-deserved it for all the “changing” bullshit he’s been spewing. Maybe this time, he’d actually work towards the goal of doing better, not just to be performative, yeah? You hope he does. Moreover, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t feel satisfaction in denying him an orgasm he so clearly wanted.
With his tail tucked between his legs, and his dick hidden under his pants, Satoshi walks down the stairs for the sermon of a lifetime.
