Sam and IT
Prompt for @misha-moose-dean-burger-lover. Original prompt: A fic where Gabe forces Sam to watch a clown move like IT so that he can overcome his fear, and then comforts him through the night movie forgotten and just fluff. Hope this is ok! I had to add some destiel because I am destiel trash.
“Come on Sammoose, it’s just a movie.” Gabriel said with a smile. Sam adamantly shook his head, “No Gabe. I can’t. You know I can’t.”
“Yes you can,” Gabe grabbed Sam’s hand, “I even waited until it came out on DVD so that we can stop it if it gets to be too much.” Sam sighed, “You won’t stop pestering me until I agree to watch this with you will you?” Gabriel grinned, “Nope. I know you can do this Sammy, it’s just a movie. Plus Dean and Cas agreed to watch it with us.”
“Oh joy,” Sam said sarcastically, “Can we just get this over with then?” Gabriel smiled and kissed Sam on the cheek, “That’s the spirit!” Gabriel grabbed Sam’s hand and pulled him into the living room where Dean and Cas were already snuggled together on the loveseat.
“Ah Sammy, you’re actually gonna join us?” Dean teased. Cas elbowed his boyfriend causing Dean to yelp, “What was that for?”
“Be nice to your brother.” Cas chastised and smiled at Sam, “I’m glad you’re going to watch this with us Sam.” Sam half heartedly smiled back, “Yeah, can’t wait.”
Sam sat on the couch with Gabriel cuddling close to his side. Gabe grabbed the remote, “Alright let’s get this party started!” Dean chuckled, “Sam does know that we are watching the new IT movie right?”
“Yes I know what we are watching Dean.” Sam snapped at his brother. Cas elbowed Dean again, “Dude!” Cas frowned, “Be nice Dean.” Dean sighed and pulled Cas closer to his side, “Alright fine.”
“Are we done?” Gabriel quipped, “Cause I would like to watch this movie today.” He pointed glared at Dean. Dean stuck his tongue out at the archangel earning another elbow in the ribs from Cas.
“We’re ready Gabriel,” Cas said with a look thrown at Dean that made him nod in compliance. Gabriel nodded, “Good.” He then looked at Sam after he hit play, “If you need to leave the room or anything do it. I won’t think any less of you my brave moose.” Sam chuckled, “Thanks Gabe.” And gave Gabriel a kiss on the forehead. Gabriel cuddled in close to Sam’s side as the movie started.
About 5 minutes in was the first shot of the clown and Sam jumped hiding his face in his hands. Dean scoffed, then yelped as Cas elbowed him yet again. Gabriel glared at Dean then turned concerned eyes on his boyfriend, “You ok Samsquatch?” Sam nodded, “Yep, I’m good.”
“Are you gonna come out from behind your hands?” Gabe questioned. Sam shook his head, “Just tell me when the clown is gone.” Gabe nodded and kissed Sam on the cheek. They kept watching the movie and everytime the clown was on the screen Sam would hide his face.
After about the fifth time it happened Gabe sighed, “Sammich if you don’t want to watch you don’t have to, we can go do something else.” Sam shook his head, “No, I want to try. I promise I won’t cover my eyes anymore.”
The next time the clown was on screen Sam held Gabe’s hand so tight he lost feeling in his fingers. But he didn’t cover his eyes. It continued like that with Sam squeezing Gabe’s hand tightly but not covering his eyes. Until the projector scene.
In aforementioned scene the kids are looking at a map of Derry when the projector starts going through the slides. Eventually they knock the projector over but it keeps going, and the clown comes out of the screen in a giant version and start chasing the kids around the garage.
When the clown came out of the projector screen Sam screamed. Everyone had jumped because of the movie but jumped again when Sam started screaming. Gabriel paused the movie on the clown’s face which made it worse and Sam started crying.
“Hey Sammy,” Gabriel soothed, “It’s just a movie. It’s not real.” Sam continued to cry hiding his face in Gabe’s shoulder, “I-i can’t Gabe.” He sobbed, “I can’t watch this. I’m so-so-sorry.”
“Shhh Sammoose,” Gabe soothed stroking Sam’s hair, “It’s ok, we don’t have to watch it. You did so good, you made it over half way through. You were so brave.” Gabe kissed Sam’s head, “Let’s go to bed huh?”
Sam nodded and Gabriel grabbed his hand and led him down the hallway. Sam could hear Dean make a snide comment and the yelp that followed when Cas elbowed him again. Sam just followed Gabe down the hallway wiping tears off his face.
When they got to the bedroom they crawled into Sam’s bed together. Gabe lay on his back and Sam laid in Gabe’s arms, with his head on Gabe’s chest. Gabe stroked his fingers through Sam’s hair, the room enveloped in a comfortable silence.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t make it Gabe.” Sam eventually whispered. Gabe sighed, “I’m sorry I even made you watch it Sam. I just hoped it would help you to overcome your fear. That seeing the kids beat the clown in the end you would be able to overcome your own fear. So I’m the one who’s sorry Sammy.”
“It’s ok Gabe,” Sam said and cuddled closer to Gabe, “I just want to go to sleep.” Gabe smiled, “Ditto, love you Sambear.” Sam chuckled, “Love you too, ridiculous nicknamer.”
Gabe laughed and kissed Sam on the temple before they both drifted off to sleep.
Bonus Scene
“I can’t believe he started crying,” Dean said after Sam and Gabe left the living room. Cas elbowed Dean in the ribs, hard. Dean yelped and grabbed his side, “Ow! Damn Cas! Stop, i’m gonna have a bruise there tomorrow.”
“That’s what you get for being so mean to Sam.” Cas huffed, “Honestly, he doesn’t tease you like that about flying.” Dean shrugged, “I was just joking.” Cas glared, “It wasn’t funny Dean.”
“Ok, i’m sorry,” Dean apologized, “I’ll apologize to Sam tomorrow. Today I want to finish this movie with my boyfriend and then have crazy sex afterwards.” Cas groaned, “I rebelled for this.”
“You know you love me.” Dean smirked. Cas sighed, “Yes I do. Against my better judgment.” Dean scoffed and Cas leaned up and kissed the frown off his boyfriend’s lips.
“Love you Dean.” Cas said and kissed Dean again. Dean kissed him back and whispered, “I love you too, sweetheart.” Then they settled together on the loveseat to finish the movie.
Late Night
It was late.
Like really late.
You were up, sitting on your bed alternating from studying the notes you'd taken and painting your nails. There was classical music drifting around the room from you speaker.
You had needed something like this. Just time to relax, to breathe.
Stanford was stressful.
You leaned back against the headboard, inspecting you handiwork. You didn't do half bad for using your left hand.
A loud knocking startled you.
"who the hell is up at this hour?" you thought, quickly getting out of bed at the frantic loud knocking
You pulled open the door, doing your best to keep your nails intact. "I'm here! Geez you're going to wake up the whole damn complex with that knocking"
"Y/N" it was a rush a breath.
You smiled "Yeah it's me. What's up Sam?"
Sam looked haggard. Like he hadn't slept in weeks.
"Sam?"
"I-I uhh..."
Sam trailed off looking awkward.
You laughed "Well if you want to come in you're welcome to" you moved aside and gestured him in. Sam nodded smalley and stepped inside.
You shuffled around him and started moving papers around "No- No you don't have to-" You waved him off "Nah it's fine I wasn't really studying anyway." you brandished your paint job.
"uh i think you..."
"hmm?" You turned around, successful in cleaning off the bed, mostly.
Sam gestured to your nails. "Ahh man" you looked closer, wrinkling your nose. "damn" you whispered
"s-sorry"
You shook your head, chuckling "No big deal. This isn't the first time I've messed up a nail, and it sure won't be the last."
Sam smiled, "Ok." he turned to go
"Whoa, wait. Â You never said what you needed."
You wiped the ruined nail polish off and frowned at the stain it left on your thumb.
"I-I"
you raised your eyebrows, "Sorry. I'm not ignoring you." Â You wiped the nail polish on your pajama pants
"What'cha need?"
"No-" Sam cleared his throat "Nothing."
"Nothing? what you just popped in at" you checked the clock "almost one in the morning just to say hi?"
"Yeah. Yeah, just wanted to check up on you."
You rolled your eyes "BS"
"what?"
"I call BS. No one knocks like you did just to 'check up' on somebody"
Sam's face fell. "That obvious?"
You smiled ruefully, patting the spot next to you. "I just know I've knocked like that before."
Sam looked worried "Is everything ok? Are yo-" You waved him off, reaching for the bottle of nail polish again.
"So why'd you think I was dead?"
Sam frowned "I - I didn't think you were dead."
You hummed raised your eyebrows, but not looking up from where you were struggling to open the bottle.
"Want some help?"
You huffed and handed Sam the bottle, which he opened with ease. "Make yourself useful and paint the ones that got messed up. There's like 3."
It was a clear subject change. You wouldn't push, but you didn't believe him either.
"I've never?"
You laughed, dispelling a little of the tension that had arisen. "It's easy you moose. Just wipe it on the edge and paint it on"
Sam shot you a bitch face. "helpful"
You laughed again. "you want me to demonstrate on you?"
By the end of the night Sam's toes were a nice shade of blue, (he ran when you tried to do pink) your nails were perfect again and the both of you were concocted out in front of your laptop the words "are you still watching?" on the screen.
Tomorrow would be weird but you couldn't really find it in yourself to care right now.

Summary: They break into Sam's house in the dead of night, when Sam will be half awake and slow to fight back or argue and find him scrounging for a late night snack in the kitchen.
Notes: Inspired by CONventional Psychopathy Part 1: Primary Deviance by @mayalaen . If you haven't read Maya's fic: in this universe, the worst criminals aren't imprisoned for their crimes. Instead, they are captured by licensed serial killers who dispose of them. Castiel is one of those licensed killers (called Cleaners) and Dean is his Handler. They work for the CON - the Correctional Operations Network.
While reading Maya's fic isn't necessary for understanding this one-shot I strongly suggest you take a look at some point because it's fucking epic.
I suppose it should also be noted that this is very much a fanfic of her fanfic. Don't expect plot points to line up or for the pairings to be the same. I did this for very self-indulgent reasons, one being I can't help but see Wincestiel in everything I read.

He'll be alone - Cas already did his research. Jess is on a case for the CON, so they're in no danger of being interrupted.
Not that Cas thinks Jess would try to stop him. Knowing her she'd help Cas scare Sam. And maybe next time he’ll ask her to join him, but his vision for tonight doesn't include the beautiful blonde.
They break into Sam's house in the dead of night, when Sam will be half awake and slow to fight back or argue and find him scrounging for a late night snack in the kitchen.
“Shit!” Sam yelps, shutting his fridge and gaping at them. “What the hell, guys? You couldn't knock?”
He's wearing nothing but a pair of boxers and Cas notes how Dean is careful to keep his eyes on his brother's face.
“We could have, but Cas didn't want to,” Dean says, rolling his eyes.
Sam frowns. “Why not?”
“Why do you think?” Cas asks, voice low.
Sam swallows hard, shaking his head. “Don't know. That's why I asked.”
Cas gives Dean a shove. “On the floor.”
Dean shivers and obeys, which surprises Cas. Even though they discussed what Dean needed to do before coming over he'd expected resistance. He’d thought Dean would put up his walls and fight the whole way.
He fists his hand in Dean’s hair, making him wince in pain. This has to be humiliating for him and it makes Cas’s cock twitch. “Speak.”
Clowns or Kisses
Summary:-
(I really loved this episode 11.07, so I just had to scribble a tag)
Sam finds himself closed in a lift with an evil clown but Dean is always on hand to comfort his little brother.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
While there were a vast number of reasons why Sam and Dean Winchester could be considered very different from your run-of-the-mill humans, there was one thing they had in common with the rest of the world. In their heart of hearts, like everyone else, each had an overwhelmingly irrational fear of something or someone. For the elder Winchester, it was flying, for Sam, it was clowns.
So the moment the younger Winchester was informed that not only was there a bunny mask, but an entire wardrobe of stage costumes, a cold thrill of terror raced through him. A clown costume was one of the most common ones around and the mere idea that he might be forced to see, touch or tackle someone dressed in it, made Sam tremble.
The logical part of his mind chided him for his fear of what was only a human dressed up in a multi-coloured suit, complete with a ridiculous curly wig and white make-up, but Sam's lizard brain reminded him how scary and creepy clowns were, and how they spirited you away to torture you with their very presence.
When the inevitable moment arrived, just as Sam had been certain it would, and he saw his worst nightmare step into the elevator, he was afraid his heart would flat-line there and then.
The clown's mask had to be one of the most frightening he'd ever seen, not even the bloody knife clasped in the man's hand could distract his attention from the horror that filled his vision.
He stood hypnotized, unable to move, like a rabbit snared by the stare of a swaying cobra. He took an instant to close his eyes and banish the grimacing mask from his sight, calling on all of his courage to do what he must, render the abomination harmless.
When his hand came in contact with the clown, he could feel the bile rising, the revulsion causing his stomach to rebel, but he was a hunter and he had a job to do.
Later, when they'd finished off the ghost and taken their leave of Donna, the brothers slid into the Impala. Sam gave Dean an elusive glance from under his eyelashes. He fully expected his big brother to make a joke about the clown, to bait him for his fear, instead Dean put the Impala into drive, only to draw into the road-side when they were a good few miles out of town.
“You okay?” he asked his shaggy-haired sibling. Sam shrugged. They were both aware he wasn't. The fight with the object of his deepest fears had taken a lot out of the younger man.
Dean slid along the bench seat until his thigh grazed Sam's, his arm circling his little brother's shoulder. “You need some TLC, Sammy boy, “ he said, his face devoid of any teasing, his expression sympathetic. “C'mere.”
Gently he raised Sam's chin and nuzzled his cheek until his sibling turned his face full towards him. With a fond twinkle in his eye, Dean caught Sam's lips with his own, plying them with little kisses until Sam began to respond, kissing him back.
Dean sometimes wondered if the sensations Sam felt when they made love were the same as his own. He hoped they were. He needed to know that Sam received the same joy and satisfaction from their relationship as he did.
He drew back to study his sibling “You feeling better now, princess?” Dean asked, careful to keep his expression neutral. ”Yeah, “ Sam replied. And it was true. Dean's kisses were akin to some magical elixir that instantly lifted his melancholy.
“Come on, then, “ Dean told him, moving back behind the wheel, “Snuggle up while I drive. When we get back to the bunker, I'll prescribe the Dean Winchester cure for all ills.”
Sam snorted as he settled his head on Dean's shoulder.
“My room or yours, “ he teased, the encounter with the clown no longer foremost in his thoughts.
“Dude, don't tell me you've forgotten our arrangement! Monday, Wednesday and Friday, you're my guest, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, I'm yours. Sunday, free for all," Dean grinned, giving the Impala gas.
The End.
