I truly start to sob now, because I always realize every sad thing that happened to me before is bound to happen again in the future. I tighten the coat around me because I’m desperate for a comfort that I know can only be brought by someone else, by someone else’s voice, by their words and their warmth and their scent and I just really want someone to be here to comfort me. But that only makes me cry more, because I always end up remembering that no one would love a liar.
