Hey there! 💜💜💜 eyem-- I was just talking about this with my friends, like how different elements (water, earth, fire, air) gets noticed by their ‘extremes’ --- like either their 1s or their 10s, the resolution/conclusion to conflict and not really the inbetween/who they are? 💜💜 That’s why ‘water’ signs gets token as being ‘emotional/cry babies’ -- when that’s not necessarily who they are completely? 💜 Or why ‘earth’ signs are known for being productive/physically doing stuff --- even when that’s not really healthy for them (i.e. the side they may need to resolve and find balance between)? 💜

Good question: I’ve been feeling the same, to be honest. My take on it would be that Scorpio’s are water signs, yes, but what you have to understand is that we are ruled by a fire planet; Mars.
So though we’re water, we’re also fire. Basically, we’re steam, lol. Hence why we Martian/Plutonians tend to do well in fire seasons like Aries season, Sag season and ultimately, Leo season. Kind of off topic but if I were to choose, I’d pick a fire season over water [besides our season of course]. Pisces season is too murky/hazy-- it’s that Neptunian influence I don’t really care for and Cancer season is way too moody for my taste. The point is, you’re not alone, lol. Hope that helps!

First of all let’s talk about security. Both of these signs indicate an individual need for security that is core/reflective inside of themselves (both nocturnal and ‘feminine’ polarity) most of the time is self-sufficient, as in they don’t need each other to complete one another, but together they are better because they choose to be.
It comes from inner-strength, something that both of these signs have and puts an emphasis on. In order to feel ‘secure’ within themselves their life paths takes them on separate methods/choices they have to make, but the visions and ‘entirety’ of their results align once they get past their initial differences.
What this means is, although they can be minor (seeming major) misunderstanding between them there’s still appreciation and a willingness to work things out because they know (both of them) that at their core (Sun) they share the similar motives/morals with different ways of approaching things/differences between them.
Minor complications can be resolved through patience, strength and trust in each other. All of which both Virgo/Scorpio places high value and tenacity in bringing the standard up high already. This creates a stable foundation, but also a fertile ground for self-improvement, tolerance and opening the self up even if they aren’t initially comfortable with where the direction is taking because they trust one another.
They take turns in an unlikely but very wholesome ‘yin-yang’ way. When Virgo communicates Scorpio takes action. When Virgo does something Scorpio feels.
They help each other fulfills their individual want/goals/desires, through knowing that they are different– and have their own strength, they indicate a pair that has a separate wavelengths and level of comfortability with each other than what we conveniently see in everyday relationships. Their relationship runs deeper through both of their contributions, emotionally, mentally and spiritually (core-Sun).

When Scorpio feels strongly about something/goes through their frustration, Virgo sets everything aside and work on it with their head down in order to give plain, clear, direct result and show them that it can be achieved as well.
It’s fulfilling and touching to both of them, basically. To see these individuals get out of their own shells of self-want/goals/desires and seeing them do little things/efforts to show the other they appreciate them.
It’s about the non-verbal communication sometimes, the actions and demonstrations through doing things that really touches both of them.
But remember that with Virgo/Scorpio, since both of them can be wrapped up in their own life/desire/self, both of them needs the other to have tact/cordialness when dealing with them.

[Below Cut: Coping with Plutonian Energy (Scorpio, Pluto, Square aspects to either) ]
Sun-square Pluto | Mars-square-Pluto can definitely be hard to deal with depending on our perspective of it. I think a lot of the time we’re disconnected from what Pluto really brings (because it’s so far out of our general scope/orbit) and us as humans tends to see things that are directly affecting us more than what our core energy might be.
I think it’s great? That we have Sun-square-Pluto, because we’re very stagnant in what we know about ourselves (all signs) thus change (that’s different/isn’t personal to us) can feel like we’re losing grasps of who we really are sometimes (subconscious push back to remain who we are). Hence, we tend to create tension within ourselves because of it.
Ways to help (at least for me w a lot of mutables) is to look at Neptunian energy, and take some of that understanding/ducking below the waves aspect (for things we don’t really know but subconsciously swayed by) and apply it generally to our core/life as well. It can help with a lot of inertia/tension that can happen over time (with Sun/Mars square to Pluto) and help us take better actions to prevent/reduce builds up of such (think of it as a health class, you might not know the specifics of what you’re doing hence Neptunian, but you know that choosing your battles/taking preventive methods can help you in your future).
Mars square Pluto as well, this talks about health/physicality. Plutonian energy brings change/transformation, thus taking measures and creating options/choices for us to choose something for ourselves during these changes– helps destabilization feels more tolerable (at least on the conscious and subconscious level.)
Because we have what we have, what we can do with it is create options for ourselves to lessen/help with the effect these things have. Or to help them better themselves.
