A Secret Santa is a gift giving event; you’ll be assigned someone to secretly make a gift for, and someone will make a gift for you in turn.
It’s very important that your giftee doesn't know you are making them a gift and vice versa, that you don’t know who is making you a gift!
Are there any rules?
Absolutely no N/S/F/W or Suggestive content is permitted for prompts, gifts, or references. This is /not/ an 18+ event.
Blood and Injuries may be permitted at the giftee's decision.
No direct contact with the person you’re making a gift for; you can communicate through me or ask through anon on tumblr if you can.
No AI art/writing, Gacha edits, face claims, picrews, or bases will be permitted for oc reference submissions or gifts.
Oc x Canon and Oc x Oc ships are 100% allowed.
Fankids, sonas, and self inserts are also allowed; my only rule is that fankids of Lloyd x Canon ships are not permitted.
Respect requests regarding holiday or seasonal preferences when making a gift. Don’t depict an oc participating in a holiday or seasonal activity that the creator asked not be depicted.
You must draw the character(s) you were assigned and they must be visible (feel free to ask for clarification)
How many ocs can be submitted total?
At least one oc is required, but up to three can be submitted ^^
What will I need for sign ups?
Refs or art that show a clear, colored depiction of your oc.
OR at a piece of writing for said oc (does not need to be a whole fic. Could easily just be a quick blurb showing how they’re written as a character)
Basic Information/Fun Facts about your character. This can be background information, relationships, likes/dislikes, age and height, personality, etc.
Suggestions or prompts for your gift giver. Stuff to help get their brain going.
Your blog name (not the name you go by online but the url name. Like @/Ninjago-Oc-Appreciation. Make sure it’s a tumblr url, and not from any other social media)
What’s the general timeline for this event?
Sign ups will officially begin near the end of October, around the week of Halloween.
Assignments will be within the first couple of weeks of November.
You will have until December 23rd to January 7th to finish your piece. These will be the designated posting days.
January 8th to 14th will be the designated late week.
How do I sign up?
In Late October, I’ll post a google form where you can submit your oc(s)! There will be one for writing and one for art!
Please reach out to me in someway after signing up. This can be through messages, asks, comments, etc. In the past we’ve had issues with the forms, where they’d “eat’ a submission, and I’d like to know when to check to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
Additional Notes:
The event title, Secret Santa, is simply a reference to the holiday activity/a gimmick. It is not meant to restrict the event to only those that participate in Christmas, so feel free to join in regardless of what holidays you celebrate (or lack thereof).
Google forms does require an email in order to make submissions with images and documents, a necessary part of the sign up process. The process is entirely private on your end, so I will not be seeing the emails used.
If you cannot use google forms for whatever reason, please contact me. I'd be happy to work something out.

This is really fun to answer because skdjnfknsk it makes me gush about the signs 💕
Astrologically speaking, every sign tend to have their cutesy/charming qualities to them that we’re attracted too- no matter how bland or boring you think you are. 💕
There’s always a different side to your placement you haven’t gotten to explore/been in touch with yet! But others sees this quality in you, and are attracted to you because of it (vice versa, you see this in other people too and your attraction stems from your familiarity/unfamiliarity with it )💕
Especially in the case of idols: When we see idols as examples, there’s many different kinds of representation of the signs (and different types of combinations) for us to see/make sense of. From their charm, to their wit, to the cutesy factor. They’re made up of all different elements, signs and placements. It’ll be dumb to say Irene has the same charm as Jisoo, so why compare yourself to someone else when your strengths are clearly different as well? All of these together– combinations of their individual placements– contributes to their overall cuteness/ charm in a different way from one another! 💕

(IU) Tends to be easily pleased, so simply pleasures like stuffing their face with food, doing cutesy stuff (aegyo) or simply just being touched/affectionate skin-ship is makes them preen.
Gemini - naturally uplifting to be around, wants to spread positivity, energy and joy in the world. Kinda like bees– they bumble around, roll in pollen for affection and help spread that awareness/idea to other flowers as well. Just trying to do good in the world. (see: Jimin, Hoshi)

Virgos - their literal goal in life is to help someone. In any way that they can. They LIKE serving humanity, people, themselves. Just want to feel productive and useful, gets huffy when they’re mad or upset. Wants to cry alone even though they have people around them. Embarrassed super easily, awkward babies who doesn’t like showing weakness (doesn’t know how to face you after they break down in front of you). (see: highkey Yoongi, lowkey Namjoon, JK)
Libra - a Mess until they figure themselves out. High key hard on themselves more so than what they do to anyone else around them. Just wants the best for everyone, the kind of people who’s actually happy for someone else when they’re not trying to swallow down their own feelings. Do The Most for the people around them and genuinely just wants some kind words of support/praises sometimes. (see: Jimin, JK, Jeonghan)
Scorpio - just wants to be understood, and stop being misunderstood tbh. Pushes themselves to feel connected to close connections around them, genuinely caring and supportive of anyone who needs it. Aquarius - secretly hopelessly romantic even though they won’t admit it. Wants support, needs support, but can get really upset if they’re not shown genuine care for once in a while. Won’t show that they’re upset though, likes to act all cool and chill about it. Pisces - soft babies, honestly so romantic. Just want to self-express into the world and share joys/experiences with other people. Empathetic but gets hurt easily. TOUGH AS NAILS, because they have to get that way to fight for other people/their own expression to be heard as well. The thing with Aries/Libra in particular is that they’re diurnal signs (like, both in the day) as opposed to nocturnal (more self-reflective) – so in a way, they’re both extroverted energy which might make it more apparent in the person (energy-wise i mean/not specifically aries or libra in particular)! 💕
As for sister signs that could indicate oppositions on the placements, like the name suggests it’s usually going one way or the other. The main key here is that if the person swings too much onto one-side, they could end up on their ass or causing friction that’s harmful to themselves/others because of an imbalance in power.
Oppositions in particular is like,, I think I’ve said this before but it’s like wanting to go in two separate direction from each other. The end goal might be similar, but the problem is their communication/methods from each other. Since both signs are Cardinal, they’re pretty stubborn about their own ways.
Learning how to keep this balance going together (the bantering is fine, it’s the combined ‘harmful’ factor between them that can become alarming)and utilizing their combined ‘best traits’ together (

Oppositions also points to an opportunity to complement each other, like I said their goals are the same but the methods are different. It’s like the destination is going home, but the direction they want to go in is either 1) through the park or 2) through the town.
It’s not that big of a deal, it’s just quarreling sometimes (usually it becomes more apparent that one side is leading the other when they’re interacting with others/people outside of them– projection of the self onto others is common, or subconscious desire to overcome the self by seeking/seeing it through others is as well. )
Like I said, it’s better than we think it is? Mostly because like, as much as they quarrel together they also share a lot of common grounds/strengths together as well. Learning how to adjust/respect and incorporate both of them means acknowledging those traits (thus the projection/swinging back and forth/tenseness between them) and learning how to accept/utilize them.

First let’s touch on the 10th house. The 10th house is the highest point in your chart on the axis (split quarterly: ASC, DSC, MC, IC) These quartets are the houses that talks about your self identity/images of yourself (Angular houses: 1st - your ASC/4th - your IC /7th - your DSC/10th - your MC)

If you want more clarifications on what these are:
Your ASC is similar to the way you project yourself outward. Your view of the world, the way you perceive society and how to act/fit in it.
Your MC is like your ASC, but an older and more experienced version of yourself. It’s you when you want to step into the world and become more independent. It’s you through all your hardship and learning how to be more independent (even if your ASC is in an independent sign) – it’s your potential, but also your highest achievement.
It’s your ASC but in god-form. Or rather, the form you ultimately desire. The highest manifestation of yourself, in order to feel truly successful about everything you’ve done/your views. It’s your ideal.
DSC and IC is you in private, or more like your interpersonal relationships. You can think of it as ASC/MC being for the people/public– like making a speech on a podium. In comparison to IC/DSC as talking to someone and actually knowing their name. It’s not your projection for society, but your projection/image for personal relationships (whether it’s familial - DSC, or enemies/one-on-ones - IC)
(I’m over-simplifying it but I’m hoping to not like– stress you out even more. I’m trying to take it step by step because I think this might help with you. )
When you look at your 10th house/MC and see that it’s on a cusp (between two signs) or if it’s intercepting another sign completely, look at the sign that comes first because that’s the natural ruler of the 10th house (i.e. Aries Cusps in 10th house, minor Pisces influence.)
If you want whole signs, you can choose a house-system that does whole sign. But it might just be easier to read it this way if you’ve already trained yourself to do it (plus it’ll help with understanding your progressed chart later).
If you want a detailed explanation on what the 10th house is, I’ve answered an ask about someone with their Saturn in 10th recently. I recommend you check it out, since this will probably apply to you too.
My answer for the post is basically explaining what someone who has a really strong 10th house placements would be like (and you’ll probably relate to it to an extent considering there’s already three signs in there.)
Onto your placements. Having Aries as the ruler of your 10th house is great, since it shares the same modality as Capricorn already (Cardinal) taking initiative comes easier when you transition into becoming your MC. You should look at where your Mars is, since your Mars will have a pull towards what you enjoy/the direction your want to take.
That might help give a clue to what your MC feels most comfortable pursuing in order to reach your fullest potential (develop your MC). It’s important to think of it as developing your MC, because your Venus (your relationship, what you love/pride yourself in, what brings you joy, self-expression through social relation) and your luck (prosperity/expansion and higher studies) will benefit from it directly as well (Also: look at Neptune/12th house).
You can think of it as – if you focus on your Mars, your MC will also be developing. Since it influences the house. If you’re conscious of your MC developing and try to hone in on that, your Venus and Jupiter will provide you with support and develop themselves through that link as well.
It’s like, creating a fertile base for your Venus and Jupiter to grow from? You are but a humble farmer who has to use the right fertilizer (Mars/Neptune/12th house/1st house) in order to make a good soil (MC) for your placements (Venus, Jupiter, Mercury) to grow in.
Look at your Pisces Mercury as part of the 10th house. Instead of trying to understand each placement separately, try to look from it as a whole. It might be a bit different since it’s at the cusps (see that the degree isn’t at 0, but if it is then that’s ok, it just means it’s going to be acting a little different in a karmic point)
Your Pisces Mercury will benefit from you developing your 10th house, since the ruler is still Aries. As a cusps, some Aries influence in it’s development tends to help speed things up a bit. Pisces Mercury itself might have a bit of a trouble with facing your own problems/talking about emotions directly. So Aries energy will definitely help with that (either from others or with conscious effort on your own part)
EDIT: Oh yeah, the aspects are also important. Considering Venus + Jupiter + Mercury are all important signs in your chart it’ll have some significance say on how you’re behaving. See if it’s in conjunction with each other!
