For one of Embo's birthdays, Iris and Abel concocted a plan. They'd noticed and heard from him how much he missed being able to go out in the sun (it burns him,) so they wanted to see if there was a way to fix it, even just temporarily. After Ben (507) had managed to order a drink from 294 that had temporarily deactivated Cain's plant-killing curse, allowing him to enjoy a garden for twenty-four hours, so they tried to do the same with Embo and ordered a drink that would let him go out in the sun for twenty-four hours. It took a bit of doing to convince him to fenangle his shield so the drink could effect him without them giving away the surprise, but he trusts them so he did.

It worked perfectly. Embo got to spend the entire day enjoying the sun and being out during the day without the risk of being burned. Yes, he cried.
