I want to share this will all of you. I have been struggling a bit recently, well, for the last year or so, and a friend suggested daily affirmations. I found this one on Pinterest (they really do have everything): 

“I am powerful, beautiful, brilliant and brave.” 

Then, later that day, I was oogling Chris Schmelke’s IG and found this photo he took. The photo stuck me on a few different levels. What I saw when I looked at this was a path that leads to the unknown. But don’t they all? We open a door with no clue what lies on the other side. What awaits us at the end of this path? Where does my journey lead me? 

This is my lock screen on my phone so I can see it a thousand times a day when I incessantly check my Tumblr. So why am I sharing this? Well, probably a lot of reasons. 

Because I need to hear it every day. Because you need to hear it every day. 

But also because I have a fic coming tomorrow and I want you all to hear what it has to say.
